  1. I think Nix was better, as far as, free flowing thoughts coming out seamlessly. Granted, he was tough to listen to for us northerners. What you're probably referring to is his drawl or his dialect, which is different from what I'm talking about.
  2. That's cool, I had thought about going into SLP field myself, instead, went Psychology. Big mistake, unless I take it a step past the Bachelors and into a Masters or above. To your point, actors like Bruce Willis, or even James Earl Jones who is a narrator a lot of times, amazingly!
  3. I really like CJ, but I guess he isn't fitting their plans. Ideal for Marrone seems to be a big strong durable RB that can take a lickin' and keep on tickin'
  4. Yeah, good point, that was another thought I had. Can't be easy being in front of a camera in a football crazed town, being grilled for inside info. Again, I think he is a very intelligent person,
  5. I dont think I've ever said I didn't have an impediment Lol, I guess its not okay to just wonder anymore. Sorry for asking guys. Just wanted to know if there was any history on Whaley. Maybe some kind of cool story about how he overcame adversity with a speech impediment to be where he is today! Never know! This is actually a good point. Maybe I've never heard him talk when he's not all jazzed up about something.
  6. Really? This is a bit surprising to me. I think he fumbles with his words a lot. Maybe its just me... Again, surprising to me
  7. Watkins catches in traffic and bull rushes through the defenders for the 99 yd touchdown. The End!!! GO BILLS!!!
  8. Seems to be the prevailing thought...thanks for your input!
  9. I thought the "Who cares he's making good decisons" answer was going to be how most would react. Just pointing out an observation that I thought was interesting. Again, I said I think he's a very intelligent person, just does not articulate well. Thought more people might have noticed. Apparently, this should have been brought up a few weeks ago when we didn't have draft picks to talk about...lol I thought I had made it clear in my origional post that I believe he's very intelligent. Sorry if I hadn't. To an outside observer, the way he speaks may make them think otherwise if they were judging just on how he articulates.
  10. Yeah I get that, can't it still be weird to me?
  11. I've noticed in many interviews Whaley tends to stutter when trying to get his words out. I've talked about this in the shout box and one other TBD'er thought the same thing. Does anyone know if he had a speech impetiment when he was younger and is still dealing with it now? Seems at times he misuses words too. Can't think of any specific examples at this time, but I've definetly noticed before. This is not to bash Whaley. I love what he's done with the team and I think he's very intelligent. It's just at times he doesnt sound quite as intelligent due to a possible speech impetiment. Just curious to see if anyone else out there had noticed or could shed some light as to if he has had an impetiment or if its just jitters in front of the camera or what have you.
  12. What a weird article..They had Gilmore as a starter, McKelvin as a probowler, Chris Williams as a pro bowler, and all kinds of weird things going on. This guy seems off his rocker...
  13. This is one big love fest in here. Get a room everyone!!! LOL Seriously though, awesome awesome awesome! Love this Sammy Watkins fella, he's gonna be something! Go Bills!!!
  14. Well hello boobie, so nice of you to come out and say hello!
  15. Yeah, I agree. There are a lot of places people can slip and tear something, walking onto the practice field. Better to have too many than too little...
  16. He has no allegiance to the team (McCoy), why would he care?
  17. Misleading, we gave up 1 first round pick
  18. Agreed. Our defense is where it needs to be talent wise (though we'll see with the new scheme). All in on offense this draft!!!
  19. Smoke screen anyone?
  20. I live in Raleigh also.
  21. I mean, I know that we gave him a key to the city, but I don't think he would give it to a Toronto big wig to bring the Bills there. Hasn't Owens been through enough in his career?
  22. So we take the 4th best with the 9th pick? I dont think so. I think we go BPA at that point and it won't be him. Or trade down...
