  1. Did you wife and neighbor kinda look like my avatar when they were devouring your sausage?
  2. What's with this sausage fest?
  3. Mr. Big Stuff! ....who does he think he is...being late all the time. Nah just kidding, way to go Dareus
  4. Uh yea...yea, wh, why wouldn't they be?
  5. So you're saying this catch was a TD in the waining seconds of a game that won the game for the Colts? Or that it was one that extended the final drive to win the game? Those are high pressure situations, this was a game that was out of hand, no one thought they would come back. However, the point is moot. At this point, we're just going round and round and round, I'll just have to agree to disagree with you good sir. It's just not going anywhere. We're both strongly positioned in separte camps, and I dont think either of us is going to convince the other. Carry on sir! Apparently he is and does. Ok done
  6. The catch that changed the game. It's a stretch by and standards. Its also a stretch to say that Marrone and Co. were wrong in cutting a person who showed nothing to them during training camp just because of one catch or one good game in the NFL. As I've stated earlier, even if he does become the next Jerry Rice, it does not make sense to say that this coaching staff was wrong. This kind of thing happens in the NFL. Players get cut and do better in other systems. Again, we're arguing over a player who's proved NOTHING in the NFL. Yes, that's on par with Hogan . This is what I've been trying to say. A play that didn't even end in a TD no less. Not 10 mins later, Rodgers dropped a catchable ball in the same type of play. Why didn't that play turn the tide the other way? BECAUSE ONE PLAY DOESNT DECIDE A GAME! Capital letters used for emphasis, not cause I'm mad
  7. That's a reach, even you have to know that!
  8. Maybe it's not surprising because we hear this story a lot. A player that had a lot of talent and potential fizzles out in the NFL. What makes this any different? What has he done with the Colts to continue to warrant this discussion? People brought this topic up again because he made ONE catch in the Colts game. Are people trying to say that that ONE catch was what won the game? The improbable comeback was created by the catch and mere presence of Rodgers?
  9. I thought the same thing and would like to hear an explanation also. It appears Cin had spiked the ball and people were returning to the huddle afterward when they said the previous play (prior to the spike) is under review. Whats up with that? Agreed
  10. Masterfully done! Things are getting quite ticky tacky on this boards! Something we can agree on Kirby
  11. Yes, the problem with the "entitled" generation is that they are not responsible to themselves. It's a sad way to go through life. They don't think anything they do is their fault, but must be others causing negative results of their actions. I'll be willing to bet that Marrone doesn't have this "entitled" view of the world. On the flip side, the problem with America is also that people want someone to be blamed for EVERYTHING. This has been going on for a long time. People put on death row, or given the death penalty and years after death finding out (by DNA testing) they were wrongfully accused. People need to blame someone, and even if its not that persons fault, they feel better knowing someone got the wrath of what ever law they broke. Same thing here, people want heads right away. They want someone to blame. Why should Marrone and their staff have to answer for cutting an UDFA who didn't fit in their plans? A player who has done NOTHING in the NFL so far to justify you calling them out, as a matter of fact? What is the point of this thread and going back and forth about a moot point. It does not matter if he blows up and becomes the next super star. That does not make them wrong for cutting him for not fitting. I get it, I understand. Years of futility causes a lot of bad feelings and bickering. I'll ask you, what does Marrone and his staff have to do with the prior years of futility? How can one bring that up as a real argument as to why they missed on Rodgers? It's laughable!
  12. Ugh I just can't stay away. This is the problem with America today. Your response it just a microcosm of those in America who wants someone to be responsible of everything. There HAS to be someone to be a scapegoat and take the fault. How about the good things? Robey? Hughes? There's good and there's bad. We're sitting here talking about a guy who's done NOTHING so far in the NFL, and you can't see how ridiculous this conversation is?
  13. Please, show me where I said we need to blindly follow coach Marrone. I'm simply saying that these things happen all the time. No one knows how it's going to turn out. You all talk about Rodgers being so much better than Hogan, based on what? Potential? Lol. Potential doesn't win games! If Rodgers becomes the second coming for Jerry Rice, it still does not mean the coaching staff were wrong, he just didn't fit for reasons we have no idea about. Are you a coach for the Bills? Are you on the inside and know something we don't? What makes this so rediculous is that this stuff happens all the time in the NFL. Players with "potential" are deemed not comparable and go elsewhere. Either they do nothing and fade away, or they become serviceable and have a solid career, or maybe they become superstars. So when he makes a single play in a game, Rodgers apologizers jump at it like you have because you want to be soooo right. Sad thing is, even if he does blow it up, no one will give credit to you because, you didn't have any info, you just got lucky. That's it and that's all. It's in he past, he's not on this team, get over it. Or keep beating a dead horse, I'm done talking about it.
  14. Actually you're wrong, it's an "I don't know". What exactly has Rodgers done so far to make you think he's soooo much better?
  15. This right here is ridiculous to me. You THINK he could have. Is that the coat tails you want to ride? A guy who had one catch in the Colts game, had one other good game, was going to win us 2 games this year? I don't get it, Hogan didn't play much, if Rodgers took his place on the roster, I'm willing to be he would have had the same role as Hogan and wouldn't be on the field much either. Would coulda shoulda, get over it! I dont get how one can be so matter of fact about these things? I think those ahead of him didn't have enough time to prove themselves this year. Who's to say in our offense that Rodgers would not have been just as invisible? This is an absolutely ridiculous thread, and for some reason, I keep it going by responding. This thread is laughable. If Rodgers becomes something amazing, oh well! He wasn't right for our team at he time, and its not like this type of thing had never happened in the history of the NFL, and its not like its only happened to the Bills!!! Best of luck to Rodgers, but he's not on our team anymore. Worst of luck to Rodgers when he plays us. Lets stop dwelling in the past.
  16. So, we go 10-6 with him? ROFL!! What has he done since that catch Kirby? Had an impressive non-catch I guess?
  17. Exactly, they went to him as they were desperate to make a play and wanted to try something different. Nothing more nothing less. Watch him fade into the darkness now.
  18. Why is Hilton getting all the looks? Rodgers is the future HOFer!!! LOL
  19. Lol, Kelvin Shepard just recovered the fumble. If it stands, was it a HUGE mistake to trade him for Hughes? This front office can't get it right! ROFL!!!
  20. Lol, predictable, one play = Jerry Rice like.
  21. I'm worried about his knees also. It seems that it doesn't take much to strain them. Perhaps because he's so lanky?
  22. Haha, she probably took the money and reported this.
