Vast majority? Care to supply any supporting data? Methinks you are dealing in more than a tad of hyperbole. Sure there are plenty of players who have had serious money issues. Tons of players? Yes, I'm sure their combined weight is over 2,000 lbs. But a "vast majority"? I'd bet it is fewer than 25% of modern players. I have no data to support my hunch. Do you have any?

Equipment could be shipped to any US venue and received by tomorrow evening. This is a non-issue. The Vikings played outdoors in Minnesota from the early 1960's through 1982. Were they reckless? The Green Bay Packers continue to play outdoors in conditions fairly similar to those in Minneapolis/St Paul. Are they reckless?

It was my first thought as well. But if the team can't get to the venue on time, it's hard to play the game. Likewise with the stadium roof issue. Of course there should be no roof...football should be played outside, irrespective of the weather. But if it is unsafe for fans/players/etc then something has to be done. They should play the game outside at another venue in Minn.

Couch was given real opportunities in Green Bay (cut on final cutdown day) and Jacksonville (played in preseason and then cut). He also had workouts with Chicago, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Miami and Houston. I may have even missed a team or two. Losman is currently on Seattle's roster. So I guess my answer is "Yes. He will get a shot like Couch or Losman." In fact, he'd be extraordinarily lucky to get as many shots as Couch. Now neither you nor I know what, if anything, he will make of those opportunities. But I fully expect he will get one or more.

I think you will find wins this season will be the best predictor of wins next season, and the season after. Also teams need to learn how to win. The best way to win next season is winning this season. Draft order has much less to do with success.

Of course. He's 24 years old. 6'6" with good quickness and so-so speed. He will be invited to some teams camp so they can evaluate if he has anything. I'm not suggesting he will certainly be a star, or even make a roster. But I'm fairly certain he will get a shot with another team.

He is currently a free agent. He'll get another shot with another team, at some point.
