  1. Lee is regularly open. Unless the QB throws the ball to him...
  2. Evans can, and has, run fine intermediate routes. They just typically use him long (I assume to drag coverage and open up the middle of the field). It isn't because Lee wont, or can't, run those routes. And, yes every WR drops the occasional catchable ball, but Lee has very good hands and drops very few passes.
  3. I doubt Peerless was double covered much during his Atlanta stay. I could be wrong, I suppose. He never drew double coverage in Buffalo, or least not very often. I think Evans has one hole in his game, really. He doesn't come back hard enough when the QB is in trouble. But other than that, the fall-off in production is due primarily to Fitz not going long often, and not being particularly accurate. He had been more comfortable with the mid-range routes, and the Bills have not used Evans in that role much. You might have noticed in one game this year, Stevie left the game (I think it was Stevie) and the Bills started to use Lee over the middle and on some shorter routes. I believe he caught every pass thrown in his direction. I would expect, as Fitz becomes more and more confident, Lee will become a target more often. But even if he doesn't, Fitz will find his other WRs harder to connect with if there is no deep threat. And right now there isn't one on the Bills. The idea that Lee doesn't get open, doesn't run good routes, is preposterous. He is open enough, on nearly every play, if the ball is thrown to the proper spot. Remember the mooks that claimed Roscoe couldn't run routes, based on his lack of production under Jauron? That was all BS, too.
  4. Please. Evans was demanding double coverage right up until his injury.
  5. The Bills will have a tough time stretching the field with their current crop of WRS, sans Evans. Maybe Easley can fill that role next year, but until he shows he is capable, I'd keep Lee around.
  6. I would imagine how much you are sending, and how fast you need delivery (as well as what airline you fly). Some airlines now charge for the EVERY bag, including the first one. The charge can be $25/per or more depending on the size and weight. I've always found FedEx ground pretty reasonable.
  7. You have been posting in a thread (that you created) about Newton, and his character, yet you haven't bothered to do five minutes of actual research on the topic? Wow!
  8. Given the quality of their decisions lately, you just may be right.
  9. I guess it depends on what you call high, or low, expectations. Let's face it, his job won't be in danger in two years if he isn't vying for a National Championship, or playing in major bowl games. If it were, I would call that "high expectations".
  10. You may be missing an INT or two.
  11. ????? Hitting the sauce tonight?

  13. Hey, nice camcorder. Thanks.
  14. How about a Fresca?
  15. Are you sure he isn't Bernie, enjoying an extended weekend?
  16. Saturday Wild Card games are still around, thankfully. I miss the occasional Sat game, too,
  17. You will find the man Leach is replacing, "Ralph Friedgen" was also described as an "offensive genius" when he was hired at Maryland. So, maybe the Bills should hire him.
  18. I believe many said (well, at least I said) he would not be considered for any major football program. I think we (I) also said, correctly, he wouldn't get the Miami job he was publicly pimping for. Maryland is a good job for Leach, I think. The Terrapins are a second level ACC team that occasionally gets a sniff of a low-level bowl game. He should be able to make some improvements in that program, where expectations are relatively low. I wish him luck.
  19. It was before the 2009 season. 2009 was clearly his worst season as he missed many games, and played injured in several others.
  20. Bork
  21. Are you asking for the 400-ct Classpack again? You really should cut back.
  22. Crocs! Yikes...sorry. Truthfully the most comfortable shoes I ever owned were a pair from Johnston and Murphy, but that was 30+ years ago. (They had a quilted leather upper. My girlfriend called them "Your mother's shoes".) For everyday work shoes I have become a big fan of TredSafe shoes at Walmart. About $25-$30. Great soles, very comfortable and very long lasting. They're great for bartenders, waiters, etc. A surprising value, IMO.
