  1. Ian Rapoport: 'Josh Allen is not quite ready' to start for #Bills https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/08/27/ian-rapoport-josh-allen-nathan-peterman-buffalo-bills/ … 9:45 PM - Aug 27, 2018 Greg Cosell said about as much on Monday show with Murph. Did not put all blame on OL. I thought Allen was more spooked by OL play that messed with his game unable to adjust. At least it did not ruin his confidence , that's the important thing at this point .
  2. Now they have to decide which 5 , OL men it will be and let them get in sync. Experimentation time is over. Until the OL is ready the QB has time for 1 read and throw. 5 sacks in 1st half will get a QB injured sooner or later. Losing Richie is a big difference. I even think he made Groy look ok at C. Getting Dawkins back will also help.
  3. 17 hours ago, ALF said: Time to go with a blocking TE every down (extra OG or OT at the TE position) If the TE can take care of edge pressure then the OT on that side can help the middle
  4. Hue Jackson Told Gregg Williams to Stop Calling Browns Players 'Stupid' to Media Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson was not pleased defensive coordinator Gregg Williams blamed cornerback Denzel Ward's injury on the "stupid" way the rookie tackles. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2792941-hue-jackson-told-gregg-williams-to-stop-calling-browns-players-stupid-to-media?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000951733/article/browns-dc-denzel-wards-stupid-tackling-led-to-injury
  5. With this OL, 3 QBs might not be enough
  6. I was being very sarcastic , I don't like Trump
  7. Breaking with tradition, White House flags return to full staff after McCain's death https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/08/27/john-mccain-flags-white-house-full-staff/1108717002/ Trump is a class act all right
  8. Time to go with a blocking TE every down (extra OG or OT at the TE position)
  9. I need to watch the game on DVR. Who played in place of Dawkins ? I've read Miller had a bad game , what happened to him with penalties ? With that OL , Allen would barely have time for 1 read , get rid of the ball or run. If that game doesn't mess with Allen's confidence nothing will. I hope Daboll will learn a lot from that game , Castillo is still a mystery to me.
  10. He was a true bipartisan , someone I really looked up to and will miss.
  11. I can't stand Erdogan since he became President of Turkey. Before that a secular Muslim country , NATO member. Now a ruthless leader purging the secular , ally to Putin and enemy of the Kurdish. Turkey has a massive number of Syrian refugees that could be another major problem.
  12. As long as Melania, evangelicals and his supporters don't mind, no problemo , amirite

  14. Exclusive: Ex-Trump World Tower doorman releases 'catch-and-kill' contract about alleged Trump affair A former Trump World Tower doorman who says he has knowledge of an alleged affair President Donald Trump had with an ex-housekeeper, which resulted in a child, is now able to talk about a contract he entered with American Media Inc. that had prohibited him from discussing the matter with anyone, according to his attorney. On Friday, Marc Held -- the attorney for Dino Sajudin, the former doorman -- said his client had been released from his contract with AMI, the parent company of the National Enquirer, "recently" after back-and-forth discussions with AMI. The contract appears to have been signed on Nov. 15, 2015, and states that AMI has exclusive rights to Sajudin's story but does not mention the details of the story itself beyond saying, "Source shall provide AMI with information regarding Donald Trump's illegitimate child..." https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/24/politics/trump-tower-doorman-contract-ami/index.html
  15. It would help to have no preseason game 3 on the Sunday before game 4 on Thursday.
  16. I don't want to see Trump impeached . I rather not see another Democrat majority Congress in 2018 either. Lets see this play out once and for all. It will either work or the Democrats walk away big in 2020.
  17. As long as the starters and Allen sit out preseason 4 all is well.
  18. Myles Garrett with Greg Williams coaching , opposing QBs are in jeopardy . The Brown's OL will have to do a lot better for them to improve.
  19. Contract wise Mack is worth it and he is very good character and likes Buffalo. How much will the bidding against other teams push up the trade cost is the problem to me. I want to see how the OL looks in preseason 3 . Right now I see a high price FA, OL man as a higher priority.
  20. Trump urges supporters to sign petition against 'spineless' ESPN to show national anthem during 'MNF' In an email sent on behalf of the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, Trump called the network’s announcement last week a “spineless surrender to the politically correct liberal mob.” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/08/23/trump-urges-supporters-to-sign-petition-against-spineless-espn-to-show-national-anthem-during-mnf.html
  21. Chicago police chief blames city violence on lenient judges and prosecutors The superintendent of Chicago's beleaguered police department shifted the blame for the city's gun violence epidemic from the cops to the courts, blaming judges and prosecutors who refuse to jail repeat offenders arrested with illegal firearms. Supt. Eddie Johnson, speaking on Monday at Chicago Police Headquarters, said his department can “only do so much," but noted “it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why shootings continue to be a problem in Chicago.” “These shootings are not random,” Johnson said. “They’re fueled by gang conflicts. We know who they are. He added: “If people don’t give us the information we need, and our judicial partners don’t hold them accountable, would you stop if that’s what you wanted to do? You know, it’s ridiculous.” http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/08/21/chicago-police-chief-blames-city-violence-on-lenient-judges-and-prosecutors.html
  22. Giants coach wants Eli Manning to do something in 2018 that he's never done before In his 14-year career, Manning has only finished one season ranked in the top 10 for completion percentage (2010), and he ranked ninth that year. In 2017, Manning finished the year with a completion percentage of 61.6 percent, which ranked more than 10 points behind Drew Brees, who led the NFL with a 72 percent completion rate https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/giants-coach-wants-eli-manning-to-do-something-in-2018-that-hes-never-done-before/ Daboll should watch how Shurmur uses Manning to increase accuracy
  23. I was wondering if we kept Cordy Glenn and came across this take on OL, hmm Von Miller, Watt and Oakland’s Khalil Mack are missiles seeking heat. So-called “three-technique" interior linemen such as Geno Atkins and Aaron Donald crumple guards and centers. The quickest way to the quarterback is up the middle, not around the side, blind or otherwise. “Times have changed," said Bengals line coach Frank Pollack. “We want to be firm inside-out from the pocket. If we’re going to be loose, we’d rather be loose wider, so (the QB) can step up." https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/columnists/paul-daugherty/2018/08/22/daugherty-bengals-need-more-than-lineman-glenn-protect-andy-dalton/1064735002/
