  1. Coleman's $3.5M guaranteed says he stays at least 1 year, the need for speed. oops
  2. Mack returns to Buffalo 11/4 ?
  3. I'm convinced Allen is mature enough to deal with a poor OL . As long as Daboll gives some receivers short dump off routes to bail him out. Peterman is looking good for the backup job , AJ if there is a injury.
  4. I wish they would raise the roster limit from 53. I like Reilly , Logan Thomas and Nick O'Leary . Better rotation so don't have to play dinged up players.
  5. Aaron says ouch
  6. I would think at least 2 preseason games are enough . Eliminate the 1st and 4th games on the present schedule. More practice time at the start , more recovery time before reg season.
  7. After paying AJ a $4M signing bonus , I would keep him at least 1 year , especially with this OL https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/a.j.-mccarron-14575/
  8. I give Scot McCloughan a lot of credit, to bad he has personal problems. What a great eye for talent .
  9. I'm for keeping 3 QBs on the 53 roster. AJ looked like a backup , being sacked 5 times by 2nd stringers is not a good sign. Daboll needs more dump off pass routes with this OL.
  10. They have to make internet security the highest priority. Hacking into the Defense Dept or electric grid could be fatal. What Clinton did while Sec of State was very wrong
  11. Should be nice weather for a game anyway. Last chance for players to make the team so effort will be there.
  12. All 3 Bill's QBs should be ok against Bear's 2nd string. Just be ready to call short pass routes if there is a good pass rush.
  13. FBI official pushes back on Trump-spread claim that Chinese firm hacked Clinton emails Washington (CNN)An FBI official said Wednesday the bureau has not found any evidence to back up a claim made by a conservative news organization and spread by President Donald Trump that Hillary Clinton's private email server was hacked by a Chinese-owned company. "The FBI has not found any evidence the servers were compromised," the official told CNN and other media outlets Wednesday. https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/29/politics/donald-trump-china-hacking-clinton-emails/index.html
  14. Super Mario was worth the contract till Rex got here. A FA without having to trade high draft picks is a better route.
  15. Allen did not have time to wait for receivers to run the routes called. I don't blame Allen for that just glad his shoulder is healed to take that many sacks. With Dawkins back and the rest of the OL set ,now let them get in sync , should be ok.
  16. The Bills going against a 2nd string D should be ok I would hope. The game 3 lessons taught the coaches and players the hard way. Lowered expectations for us fans so we could appreciate any improvement. McD is a clever one ?
  17. The Bengals strategy for OL and DL is working Von Miller, Watt and Oakland’s Khalil Mack are missiles seeking heat. So-called “three-technique" interior linemen such as Geno Atkins and Aaron Donald crumple guards and centers. The quickest way to the quarterback is up the middle, not around the side, blind or otherwise. “Times have changed," said Bengals line coach Frank Pollack. “We want to be firm inside-out from the pocket. If we’re going to be loose, we’d rather be loose wider, so (the QB) can step up." Most quarterbacks will say their biggest concern is what’s right in front of them. If the pocket resembles a teenager’s bedroom, it limits their vision and disrupts the quick-passing game so many teams use now. Andy Dalton suffers noticeably when his inside protection fails. Same as most QBs. There is a reason Tom Brady doesn’t spend a lot of time on his back. He gets the ball out quickly, his running backs are usually good receivers. Brady’s worst games have come when what insiders call his “cone of vision" becomes narrow. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/columnists/paul-daugherty/2018/08/22/daugherty-bengals-need-more-than-lineman-glenn-protect-andy-dalton/1064735002/
  18. Of course not , if they break the law the courts should put them away hard time My point is the Democrats cannot overturn everything if they win the midterms "It's not a question of like or dislike, it's a question that they will overturn everything that we've done and they will do it quickly and violently The Democrats would need a super majority in Congress to override any Trump veto . Trump still would have E.O. if republicans lost majority in Congress. A democrat majority in the House could impeach Trump but would not get 67 votes in the Senate to remove him from office unless he did something that Republicans would remove him. I can't imagine any Democrats or Independents would think Antifa violence is justified. When they break the law , police and courts have to come down very hard on them.
  19. Trump warns evangelicals of 'violence' if GOP loses in the midterms (CNN)President Donald Trump, facing scrutiny for hush money payments to a porn star and a former Playboy model, pleaded with evangelical leaders for political help during closed-door remarks on Monday, warning of dire consequences to their congregations should Republicans lose in November's midterm elections. "This November 6 election is very much a referendum on not only me, it's a referendum on your religion, it's a referendum on free speech and the First Amendment. It's a referendum on so much," Trump told the assemblage of pastors and other Christian leaders gathered in the State Dining Room, according to a recording from people in the room. "It's not a question of like or dislike, it's a question that they will overturn everything that we've done and they will do it quickly and violently. And violently. There is violence. When you look at Antifa -- these are violent people," Trump said, describing what would happen should his voters fail to cast ballots. "You have tremendous power. You were saying, in this room, you have people who preach to almost 200 million people. Depending on which Sunday we're talking about." https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/28/politics/trump-evangelicals-midterms/index.html
  20. Daboll should have made adjustments to compensate for OL so Allen could throw sooner then planned.
  21. Ian Rapoport: 'Josh Allen is not quite ready' to start for #Bills https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/08/27/ian-rapoport-josh-allen-nathan-peterman-buffalo-bills/ … 9:45 PM - Aug 27, 2018 Greg Cosell said about as much on Monday show with Murph. Did not put all blame on OL. I thought Allen was more spooked by OL play that messed with his game unable to adjust. At least it did not ruin his confidence , that's the important thing at this point .
  22. Now they have to decide which 5 , OL men it will be and let them get in sync. Experimentation time is over. Until the OL is ready the QB has time for 1 read and throw. 5 sacks in 1st half will get a QB injured sooner or later. Losing Richie is a big difference. I even think he made Groy look ok at C. Getting Dawkins back will also help.
  23. 17 hours ago, ALF said: Time to go with a blocking TE every down (extra OG or OT at the TE position) If the TE can take care of edge pressure then the OT on that side can help the middle
  24. Hue Jackson Told Gregg Williams to Stop Calling Browns Players 'Stupid' to Media Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson was not pleased defensive coordinator Gregg Williams blamed cornerback Denzel Ward's injury on the "stupid" way the rookie tackles. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2792941-hue-jackson-told-gregg-williams-to-stop-calling-browns-players-stupid-to-media?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000951733/article/browns-dc-denzel-wards-stupid-tackling-led-to-injury
