The day after losing West Virginia's Republican Senate primary, ex-convict and coal baron Don Blankenship took one more shot at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. During the campaign, Blankenship had called McConnell "Cocaine Mitch" in a bizarre attack that seemed to reference drugs being found in 2014 aboard a ship that was owned by the father of McConnell's wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao. https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/09/politics/don-blankenship-last-jab-at-mcconnell/index.html The midterms and 2020 will be something else

Sean McDermott: "Culture Trumps Strategy" ?
ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It takes the right culture , talent and coaching to succeed . It is very difficult to get all three at the same time. Changing coaches can mean different systems , need different players. I rather keep the systems simple , man coverage , 4-3 D ,power blocking for OL. jmo -
Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.

It takes the best scouts money can buy to ID the right players. Whaley was good at scouting pro personnel btw. The HC has the most say on QB . Marrone panned EJ at the start and was right. -
The best way to learn is to watch video to compare what he saw to what he should have seen. When the OL is the problem , the OC has to bring in quick pass routes. This is good experience for Allen he can't learn from the bench , he will be fine in the future.

Chris Collins arrested for security fraud

In attack ad, Collins cites made-up statistic about job losses related to Korean free-trade deal Collins made his claim as part of a campaign commercial (see video above) that attacks McMurray's past employment as an attorney for U.S. companies in Korea. According to the Buffalo News story, McMurray helped U.S. companies trying to open up the Korean market to their exports. McMurray learned to speak Korean while working there. He married a Korean. He's said that the Collins' ad is xenophobic. https://www.thebatavian.com/howard-b-owens/in-attack-ad-collins-cites-made-up-statistic-about-job-losses-related-to-korean-free -
The Bills could really use Whaley for Pro Personnel Director about now. Just keep him away from contracts.

SI - Josh Allen, Thrown to the Wolves
ALF replied to TheElectricCompany's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only expectations for this season are for Allen and Edmunds to develop with no pressure to make the playoffs. It looks like both are mature enough to learn from their mistakes. As long as the fans don't boo them and let them learn the hard way.
