because thousands of people across multiple countries would have to be in on this covering it up if the Earth was flat. think of all of the doctored photos and videos and multiple trips to space. that would be impossible to pull off. i'll agree with you on the old testament stuff. you would have to be pretty naive to take every word as the absolute truth. that is just a collection of oral histories that by the time people had the chance to write it down it changed over time like that game "telephone." but the verdict is very much still out on the evolution of human beings. evolution makes small gradual changes over time. something happened in our history that completely changed us, and it wasn't evolution. our brains grew at an exponential rate that has never been explained or duplicated. evolution can't explain it all. otherwise, beatles and crocodiles have been around for millions of years so why aren't they evolved? i very much believe that our evolution is the result of external factors. some people think that's god, some people think that's other intelligent beings, some people think it's some kind of undiscovered natural occurence. but the fact of the matter is nobody knows at this point so to say it was simply "evolution" is pretty small minded and you should be more evolved than to think like that

I'm into conspiracy theories but this one is dumb. But if you can wrap your head around everyone being in on covering up the fact that the earth is flat then what are your thoughts on some of the more logical ones? Id really be interested to hear their thoughts. They should round up a bunch of the more famous flat Earth theory guys and do a tv show where they look into other conspiracies and paranormal stuff. I'd watch that!

Realistic expectations for Draftee QB
K D replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The peanut gallery thinks if you trade up for a QB you better go right to the super bowl. As you pointed out, it takes at least a year or two until they are solid starters. So anyone that thinks we first build up the team and THEN get a QB is an idiot. By the time the QB is feeling confident, the rest of the team is moving on in free agency. You get the QB and then build around them. It's common sense. Look at the Rams. Goff sat then struggled and in the meantime they built up the WR core around him and now he's setting the league on fire. Get the QB, let them go through their growing pains, continue to improve your roster, be a contender for many years to come -
haha I don't think even he thinks he can do it but Coach McDermott keeps sending him out there and he's like ok I guess so, whatever you say coach, here we go!

when I was in 4th grade my teachers told me i could do anything i put my mind to so i said i want to be QB of the Buffalo Bills and they told me to set the bar lower, like maybe an accountant for the Bills. true story!

2-23: Greg Cosell Talks QBs on the John Murphy Show
K D replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they will have the opportunity to talk to him next week. if he gives indication he doesn't want to play for Buffalo then I'm sure they will look elsewhere. but where we stand right now, that is the best QB in the draft and if we can get him then we have to go get him -

Cleveland isn't taking him, he said he doesn't want to play there. We have an opportunity to trade up 2-4 to get him. We have 2x 1sts, 2x 2nds and we have Glenn, Tyrod, Shaq on the trading block. More than enough ammo to get your guy Yep, but like I said you have to talk yourself out of Rosen because this might happen or that might happen. But my argument is take the best QB and hope for the best. More likely to work out than someone who isn't the best QB and you hope he somehow improves -

Any knocks on Rosen has nothing to do with throwing a football. Maybe he will get hurt but so could any of these guys. Maybe he will be a jerk but who cares as long as he is completing passes. If you draft someone else it's because you like them as a person and hope they can overcome something in their game to get to the level that Rosen is already at. It's a no brainer for me -
I saw the Michael Vick 2.0 comparisons online. Michael Vick had success because he was built like a RB. Lamar Jackson is built like a WR. He will have some limited success because he is a playmaker but he will never be Vick. His build is more comparable to RG3 and we saw how long his toothpick legs lasted. Running QB's don't last very long at the NFL level and skinny running QB's last even less

If you want the best QB you draft Josh Rosen. Theres really no discussion. Anyone else you are hoping they fix things or they have some intangible that you admire. Get the best QB, don't over think it -
Didn't Baylor have a big TE last year too? These guys never pan out. Football is not like basketball. After a certain height your chances of success go way down. Theres such a thing as being too big/tall

Buffalo Bills a Prime FA destination?
K D replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wishful thinking -

That would be incorrect. Rosen is by far the smartest and has plans to parlay his NFL fame and fortune into a career as a venture capitalist. He's also the best QB of the bunch by a good margin. If anything, one of the knocks on him is that he's too smart. He's often the smartest person in any room and doesn't listen to coaches because he assumes he is smarter than them, which is often the case.

Anonymous QB Scouts' Takes on the Draft Class
K D replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are we drafting football players or voting in an election? Who is the best QB? The answer is Josh Rosen -
Title is vague but thanks for your input. I'll keep an eye on this guy during the combine
-
someone will want him. not because he's good but because he's cheap. $10 mil for a starting QB or even a very good backup is cheap. someone like Keenum is going to want double that and he's not much better. if you are the Browns for instance and you draft a top QB it would make sense to have a bridge QB like Tyrod who is cheap and can start for you in the meantime. same goes for the Cardinals, especially if they draft Lamar Jackson who has a similar skill set and would run the same type of offnense

Rapaport: Bills won’t cut Tyrod, fine with paying 6 mill bonus
K D replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he looked pretty jacked in that movie. he played a RB on the show Friday Night Lights. the Bills shoulld give him a workout, assuming he could pass the ped tests! -
something to keep in mind... the only players the Bills have talked to so far are the guys that were at the Senior Bowl: Allen, Mayfield, Rudolph, White, Lauletta anything that says they are all in on Rosen, Darnold, Jackson is pure speculation. they have scouted them and watched film but still tbd is the interview, measurements, workout, visit
-
I think they have a plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G... Tyrod is plan Z.

Barnidge really showed them. Oh you are only going to pay me $8 million? Then I'll just sit out and then you will pay me more when I'm a year older and out of football for a year!
