The only way it's acceptable to draft Allen is if Mayfield or Rosen are already off the board and we had no opportunity to move up to get them. If nobody wants to trade then so be it. If they move up and take Allen with any of those 2 still available then they might as well be gambling and if wrong they deserve to be fired.
Bills are completely desperate. It's been reported they already offered 3 1st round picks for #2 and Giants turned it down. You can't trade up if you don't have a willing partner no matter how crazy the offer is
Josh Allen might be really good. He might also be really bad. He's too much of an unfinished product to speculate. Makes him too risky to trade up for when there are more polished passers available (Rosen)
Really? Just watched the tape, not impressed. Half the passes are screens. Then a lot of running around not sure what to do oh there's a guy I'll throw it to him. Looks sloppy. Not a lot here that translates to the NFL. You need someone who can win from the pocket, not someone who runs around and tries to improvise. That can lead to disaster, as it has with his turnover problem.
It will be costly!
Trade to 6 might be: 12, 22, 65
Trade to 2 might be: 6, 53, next year's 1st
We are basically getting tag teamed by 2 teams knowing we are desperate to do the deal. We would be overpaying by a lot
There's zero chance he walks away workout winning a super bowl. He wants to be like his hero and fellow UCLA alum Troy Aikman. Win some super bowls, make the hall of fame, parlay that into a successful business career. He wants the name brand recognition. Nobody is going into business with an NFL bust or a quitter
I'm 50th degree Free Mason, a junior member of the illuminati, and I have the highest score on skeeball at Dave and Buster's. I'm kind of a big deal. I know things
That's exactly right. It's can't be overstated how Rosen played at the top high school in the country traveling all over the US and playing the best of the best schools. Then he went to UCLA and was the man right from the start as a true freshman and has 3 yrs experience at the college level. Not to mention Elite 11 and the Manning passing camps where he shined. That's waaaay more experience than Darnold. He's the Chosen One for a reason
Maybe. But they just restructured his contract to make it essentially a 1 year deal and they have hosted many of the top QB's. Everyone in the media is convinced they want one of the top guys and that guy is Mayfield. I think Bills would have to move up to 6 in that scenario otherwise Miami or Arizona will
I don't like him because I don't think he will ever develop as a passer who can win from the pocket but I definitely don't want someone in our division to get him. He's going to be a big play threat every game. He can win those close games where 1 big play makes the difference. I think he has a chance to be OROY
