Why the Giants should steer clear of Barkley - compelling
K D replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't watch it but Barkley is going to be very good. He has balance. His legs are like tree trunks and he is stupid strong. Not a lot of players show his mix of balance, explosiveness, speed, agility, pass catching, and run blocking ability. He's the total package. Is he worth the #2 pick? Maybe if you are desperate for a running game he is. I just don't think RB's are worth that much in today's NFL but if you are going to do it then you do it with an every down back that can also catch and pass block -
Interesting Take From QB Guru on Allen
K D replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Palmer is Allen's QB coach. What is he going to say? He sucks? -
we still trade to 4-7, we just get the 4th best guy. no way they sit back and wait when Miami, Arizona, Baltimore and others want a QB too

coach K from Duke? wtf does he know about the draft?

Allbright: "It's Darnold" UPDATE: He admits he was wrong
K D replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allbright sticking with his sources, expects it to be Darnold, Barkley, Mayfield, Chubb. not 100% lock but a good idea that this will be the case. when asked what the Broncos will do at 5: so the Bills trade up to 5 in that scenario with Allen and Rosen available to them -
it's been coming for a while. it wouldn't be them taking Allen, it would be losing my faith in them by shunning all known analytics and picking someone because they are BIG. i'm fine with them taking Allen if that is all that's left. if they traded up to 2 for instance to do it when there are better players available then i can't support a regime that so far out of touch. it's fine, i think i'm too involved anyhow if something like that would affect me so negatively. maybe i just need to take a step back. like you said, we have been through much worse but i think at this point it's starting to take a toll. i'd love for sundays to be something positive in my life once again like it was when i was a kid watching the 90's Bills. those are some of my best memories. hoping for the best!

that's only if they do something crazy like trade up for Allen and bypass Rosen. at that point i would lose all faith in this administration and at that point there's no use following them until the next regime. hopefully it doesn't go down like that! i don't think i can sit through another 2-3 yrs of waiting for these guys to get fired so we can do it all over again. i'll still watch the games (from home) i just don't need to be so involved in something with so much negativity surrounding it. still a fan, just from a distance. we'll see how it goes. cautiously optimistic that this regime isn't as bad as the previous ones

thanks bud. i'll be hoping it works out for sure. this has been my team my whole life. it pains me to see them suffer like this. i think i would need to take a step back and watch from the sidelines for a bit though. i get too involved and then get let down. you never know though. maybe stats are for losers and all of that math stuff is nonsense! we'll see

this tweet says it all, Allbright sticking with his sources: Dorsey trying to bait someone to trade up, it's all smoke. It's going to be Darnold
-
Either way I don't think it matters. Rosen will be available at 5 as long as the Giants don't take a QB. I would be really really surprised if they did. Would be a slap in the face to Eli and the previous coach just got fired for that
-
I doubt it. They are messing with people trying to figure out who the leaks are. It's going to be Darnold

Rotoworld: Josh Norris' Top 200 Draft Board
K D replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills can right a lot of wrongs tomorrow by selecting Josh Rosen. It will be a franchise changing event. Don't blow this Beane -
They will only feel that way if they move up for Allen. There will be riots in the streets.
-
Any mock that doesn't have us trading up is unrealistic.
-
I think this is big news actually. By admitting they are not trading up prior to the draft means a move to pick 2 is unlikely. We have heard from many sources that Giants won't trade all the way back to 12 and miss out on the top guys. I always thought we would have to move up to pick 4-7 prior to the Giants being on the clock for our trade offer to be attractive to them. I think they will be picking a player at 2. They could accept our trade then trade back up but that is risky if the other team backs out so it seems highly unlikely

How can an interview on a crappy show make you completely change your mind about someone you were so strongly against? You don't need passion and fire to be a QB. You just need to complete passes. Eli Manning won 2 super bowls and is probably going in the HOF and he has no fire whatsoever. If anything you want your QB to be cool, calm, and collected under pressure. Rosen has a good head on his shoulders, everyone knows that. This was a good interview but it shouldn't change how you feel about him as a thrower of a football

Best, Realistic Scenario For Getting Our Guy
K D replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was reported that they might take Mayfield or Darnold. They didn't like Rosen or Allen. Benjamin Albright reported that Rosen is off their board completely. They also reportedly like Barkley, Chubb, Nelson but they also liked the idea of trading back with the Bills and taking Ward and Will Hernandez.
