Spencer Brown spent the entire off season last year with back and neck issues. He had a solid rookie season. Thus is an overreaction by far. Brown is solid and with a healthy off season should move forward. our needs are far greater at WR, TE #2, G, and LB. Thats where we need to spend our time.

Draft - Positions of Need - Top Ranked
machine gun kelly replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
A very thorough list and thank you as you always put work into a lot of you’re initiating threads. Reading between the lines, Beane sounds like he still wants another look at the pass catching TE option. I love the idea after WR and G. If we have Cook and Hines as our 21 with Gilliam to plow the field, we have 11 between a 1st RD draft pick and our current group, but we could finally get a 12 grouping with Knox and this draft class is flush with pass catching TE’s. Id be interested in your thoughts on this group as weapons, weapons, weapons. Resigning Poyer helped on the Safety front for now. That will be top priority next year. This year I’d love a 2nd TE. Nothing wrong with Morris, just would like an upgrade and dang it use Knox better. -
The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team
machine gun kelly replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
LA, that’s inserting too much common sense. These are not just excuses, they are real, and additively it did play a role in how emotionally and physically exhausted the Bills were in the playoffs. We almost lost to the Fish the week before. we won’t know until we beat them in season. We did though beat the Chiefs in the regular season twice in Arrowhood. That is an accomplishment. Ill reserve judgment on the roster until we come out of training camp. Like many of you I will be paying a lot of attn to the draft. We need to hit on several picks. For me it’s a WR, TE, and G. -
Some people forget Briwn and had neck and back problems all off season before 22. He’ll be fine and didn’t help he had no off season. He’s now healthy and will develop like the animal he was his rookie year. We need another G, not Tackle. For me it’s WR in the 1st, TE in the 2nd (a deep TE draft), and a G in the 3rd. we can get a stud 2nd RD TE. That would give us 11, 12, and 21 personnel.

I like the Hopkins idea, but Henry is a complete chef of our offense. We’re not going to do that, and he’s not worth the investment. I think he’s a $10 mil. Guy. Hopkins isn’t cheap, but adds to our needs.

What would you trade for Jerry Jeudy?
machine gun kelly replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall
Genny screamers. That’s a bad memory. I used to like Genny Light, but then again I was a poor high school kid from Frannies. We didn’t have the $ for Labatts or OV. You remember OV, add an L and an E, and you have Love OV. Children, that was the OV commercial from the early 80’s. -
Beane again showing why he is a top GM
machine gun kelly replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hilarious. It’s funny when I hear that ominous song on the Empire I always think of BB and the Cheats when they had Brady. Now I think of the Raiders as that stadium looks like the Death Star. Can’t you just hear BB and he sounds like this.. -
As much as I would’ve enjoyed Gesecki as a Bill to have a #2 TE, and yes I know he doesn’t block well, he is basically a big WR. It’s more likely given the cryptic msg, Beamer wants a TE. Since this draft is deep at TE, we’ll probably use one of the draft pics for another TE. I still like what Kerrmy White continues to pound the drum a 1st RD WR, the other needs are still a G, and MLB. That’s four pics so let’s hope Beane has some magic this April.

So Ja, should we play this on draft day. -
Poyer is back! Resigning with Bills
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
One word. WRONG. He’s not diminished in the slightest and from 2017-21 almost no misses. He and Hyde together are by league experts one of the best if not the best Safety tandems in the league. Maybe you didn’t see with Tre, Taron, and Poyer and Hyde as the best pass defense in the league. Year over year. Now with Benford and Elam developing we will continue to have an elite pass defense. Do you ever wonder why teams try to run on us? Because they can’t pass deep. We were the best against the deep pass for years. When their play diminishes, I’ll agree. We have Poyer for two and ossicle the can void after a year, and Hyde after this year. I don’t expect any extension for Hyde in 24, but he was ready for the Chiefs game had we won. -
Anyone just sit back and appreciate it?
machine gun kelly replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stampede, it’s a good sentiment and I agree, I’ve lived long enough to appreciate we’ve been in the playoffs all but one year with McBeane. With that said, it’s time to take the next step. Getting back Poyer outside of the troll comments is a great thing. We lost Edmunds, but that’s less to replace than Edmunds and Poyer. we absolutely need though a 2 WR, TE I hope as it’s a deep class, and another G. we can do it. Let’s hope Dorsey grows in year 2 and if McD more actively leads the defense, I see as only a positive thing. -
Poyer is back! Resigning with Bills
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is good for the Bills. 2 years and an All Pro Safety remains on the Bills. This crap he’s old, banged up and slow is just that, crap. This past year is the first time he’s missed games and been hurt since 2017 minus I think 1 game or 2. -

machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great to hear. The “he’s old, he has lost a step”. I guess you didn’t see the 1st team all pro last year. A 2 year deal is perfect. Tre will be back to form with an off season and we have the wonder twins back together. Add Taron and now a second year for Elam and Benford. We’re back to a top 2-3 secondary if not the best on the league. Less on defense to worry about with only the MLB to consider. Lavonte David sounds even better at this point. -

What’s your offer for WR Jerry Jeudy?
machine gun kelly replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Alpha, I know Bopkins is far more accomplished, but the contrast is who threw to Jeudy? Hopkins had Watson and yes, he’s a POS as a human being, but had great QB skills prior to his suspensions, and then Murray is also better than anyone who played in Denver. I don’t think a 1st is the best, but I don’t know if we could get him for a 2nd. When I meant a player, I’m referring to someone like McKenzje. And fwiw, I respect the heck out of your opinions as well. There are some guys I listen to more and you’re one of them. -

But Hopkins is 31 in July. Jeudy is 23. He’s worth a player and our #1. Some names already floated. -
Matt Milano Contract Extension, as per Adam Schefter
machine gun kelly replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
This guy is in some ways the most important guy on defense. Sure, Von turned into our closer, but Milano playing vs. injured is a clear correlation to winning vs. losing. -

Maybe, but my guess is if the Waltons can buy the Broncos, they may like the Bezos even more. -

It is surprising the owners couldn’t come to a consensus given he was robbing them cooking the books on stadium sales etc. Youd think the owners would be drueling over Bezos as an owner. Between the owner of Amazon and the owners of Wal-Mart, the league as to be happy.
