Please God for once draft someone with SIZE. I’ve been screaming for someone with SIZE for DECADES. the pick for EJ Manual was so clearly Mike Evans(not Watkins). A HuUGE target to jump and catch poorly thrown balls. Imagine Allen lofting up deep balls after scrambling to a freak like Evans!!! that’s why I wanted DK Metcalf when he fell into the 2nd. That dude was a FREAK. Allen to Metcalf for the 60 yard bomb, like fish in a bucket. but I’m sure we will draft another little guy to play the role of “can’t catch contested balls”

I did not watch Beanes presser but my friend filled me in. Sounds like Beane’s answer to the OL was essentially “we prioritize what we feel is important “. Which is another way of saying “we believe OL doesn’t matter”. I could not disagree more. Beane’s whole strategy and philosophy on the OL MUST CHANGE.

Eagles eagle eagles. fired Andy Reid, a great coach who never won the SB, who went to the chiefs and needed the best QB in the league on a rookie contract to FINALLY get over the hump. eagles hired Doug Peterson and won a SB. then they fired Doug Peterson. now they are inching towards another SB(appearance at least). Eagles prove you can fire a hood coach and get a better one in the process.

Part of draft I do believe is coaching. I’m not sure Allen is as good as he is without Daboll. we saw him regress this year with his Footwork and pocket presence with Daboll gone. also another point I’d like to make - TRADE YOUR DRAFT PICKS. We got Diggs with a trade. Dolphin got hill with a trade. SF got mccaffrey in a trade. We had no safety’s before the trade deadline - no trade for one. We finished the game with #4 at Safety. I have to use his jersey number because I don’t know the name of our 5th string FS.

Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
peterpan replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cincy. They are a small market team that shared the bottom of the barrel with us for decades. They bailed us out to end the playoff drought. We both finally found our franchise QBs and are good. And they earned a ton of respect in the Hamlin game. They are a well coached and disciplined team. Nothing to dislike about them. id rather be knocked out by the SB champs than some other team -

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
peterpan replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, I threw the “chip on shoulder” comment in because of how the game cancellation hurt the Bengals more than anyone else. The NFL didn’t use their own rules of win % and told the Bengals/Ravens it’s a coin flip. also, they were playing well against us, and when the game was cancelled, they lost their chance at 1st seed. and the Bills, they certainly don’t play like a team with a chip on their shoulder. Maybe they will against KC? -
Will your respect for Tom Brady change when he retires?

3 time convicted cheaters will always be 3 time convicted cheaters. -

I hate to say it but maybe 30%? We have been playing poorly for way too long. Bengals are a good team with a chip on their shoulder. I think it’s a safe bet that they win.- 391 replies

Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"
peterpan replied to Nextmanup's topic in The Stadium Wall
They had their third string 7th round rookie starting at QB and we were one pay away from losing. They likely would have beat us with Tua or Bridgewater,as we played horribly. If the Dolphins can land Rodgers they’ll be SB Contenders. With Mayfield or Care they could easily win the division next year. -

Did you not just watch the game Sunday? Or the other two we played against them? They have our number. We won bc we have Allen and they have bums at QB. A Non-homer would see we were out coached and out played in all three games. Ironically we played our best in the heat stroke game. -
It’s A LOT harder when you can’t cheat.

Florio: Brady to the Dolphins "Definitely on the Table"

Miami is a top team. Great roster and well coached. Just missing a QB. Brady is too old. I’d be gunning for rodgers or even as option 2, mayfield -
This is very very true. Allen gets rattled under pressure at time and it extended to times when he is not under pressure. either way this team needs a huge improvement at WR if we are gonna play hero ball. We lead the league in drops and brought two WRs out of retirement for the playoff push. we need to add a Mike evans type or two

Off topic and maybe deserving of another thread but, if people accept this as true- why even build a defense? Just put all your money into offense. Statistics say we have a top, maybe the top defense. But watching they seem to really suck at times. invest in the O. Control the ball. Score 40 points a week. That seems to be how the NFL is going these days

I can’t see us winning this game. Bills have been playing poorly for the final 2/3 of the season. They are a good team so they win even tho they play poorly. And that Miami game - wow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Bills play a worse game and still win. Maybe a few losses this year would have woken this team up and they could have refocused? we will have to see an entirely different team take the field this week, or I think we lose big. Miami was dreadful and we were lucky to win. I was embarrassed to be wearing bills gear at a bar watching that Miami debacle. We play even a little like that v the bengals and it’ll be 50-13
-
But again, “should”. Maybe if we had more than one WR of the team the 7 step drop hail Mary’s would produce better
-
Well yea, but that’s the point isn’t it? Those are tough, low percentage throws. Easier, higher percentage plays are good too. And better is many circumstances.
