  1. Who would hire a qb that can't play? Makes no sense. It sucks he can't find a job as a clerk somewhere though. Maybe an office assistant fetching files and coffee? Someone should check into that make sure he isn't being marginalized.
  2. I wonder if 40 million white brits suddenly tried to move to any arab/muslim country and the citizens protested. Would the protesters still be whacky right-wing nationalists? Or would they just be trying to defend their country, culture? Not like that would ever happen because that theocracy never results in a liveable scenario that any sane person wants to move to. Unless it's beyond even the most radical zealot's ability to fvck it up like the countries awash in crude oil.
  3. Sounds like an extension of the "let them play don't want officials to influence" logic. Whatever. When the league doesn't act sometimes the teams will settle it. If that happens the spineless ones in charge will have to come up with an explanation/excuse/lie.
  4. Things are pretty weird there. Tommy Robinson, for years, trying to expose rape and trafficking of young white girls by Muslim gangs. It has been routinely covered up by British police, media, and government. I guess Tommy got a little too loud and they shut him up. It's also scary that when I searched him on Google to find an article all I could find is the usual left-wing globalist news outlets. Had to go directly to Breitbart. http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/05/29/tommy-robinson-reporting-restriction-lifted-jailed-13-months/
  5. This is what happens when the NHL and the refs they control, decide they don't want to affect the outcome of the game. They affect the outcome of the game! I can't stand the tired old line of "let the players settle it on the ice" or field or whatever. If they just called the game by the rules the players would adjust soon enough. But they take the spineless way out and try to please everyone by not calling infractions. Frustrating but this shite does go both ways. Saw a player get xchecked right in front of the ref last night! I know that prikc saw it. How is not calling that not affecting the outcome? Resulting, justified PP could definitely determine the outcome.
  6. Not being condescending, I know you are a Cap's fan so I understand. I feel I'm a more objective observer being a Shark fan. Yes, I admit I'm leaning Vegas but I'm not emotionally invested. As far as the refs gifting, I think it's a foolish rabbit hole to go down. If you pay attention there so many subtle but influential infractions that are ignored in the playoffs. Not as obvious but equally significant in either causing or allowing a goal. For example, cutting off a forward as he skated to the point to defend a defenceman before he can get a shot off. Not noticed because it's among a faceoff scrum. Stuff like that that is impossible to score and tally up to see who got screwed. IMHO this is where the NHL and refs get themselves in trouble because now they are forced to make judgment calls when or when not to call something.
  7. It's all you can do. The hit last night reminded me a lot of a similar situation involving the Sharks vs the Oilers playoffs. At the time the Sharks had no or very little muscle to respond. That hit changed the course of the series. Ironically, the Sharks ended up signing Torres. He was actually pretty effective when not injured.
  8. Not mentioned because the announcers arent that great. They watch him closely because the guy is a hack with no respect for this opponent. He's earned the rep. He better be careful. Since the refs didn't get it right the Knights may feel they have to mete out justice themselves. Which may involve Ove or Backstrom.
  9. Buffer is iconic. Nice to see they used him at the game tonight. Speaking of great fights from that era. My fav boxer ever Larry! And Weaver had such power in both hands
  10. I love it. It's Vegas. Conveniently ignoring that hack Wilsons cheap shot on the Knights leading scorer. Please, if you watch all the playoffs shite gets ignored by the refs all the time. That Reaves hit was relatively insignificant compared to the other stuff that is let go. Did you also note all the pick plays the Caps were running on Vegas? I did. Also never called. Several of them.
  11. Last night would have been a perfect day for the game as it turns out. No NBA to go against. Tonight is the final between GS and Houston as well isn't it?
  12. I feel he pulls jerk moves on you all the time. This was probably way overdue. Likely no one ever calls him out on his shite. Someone has to. May as well be a coach
  13. Not in the R. Nixons family anymore but his former San Clemente home is on the market. Looks like it needs some serious updating but I guess it's all about location and lot size. Lots of beachfront. http://www.latimes.com/business/realestate/hot-property/la-fi-hotprop-richard-nixon-20180528-story.html
  14. If they played with playoff intensity from the outset they would be burned out and too injured by January. I agree with your observations about the season. There seems to be a gentlemens agreement to lay off the physical until the playoffs. I think the better players on the top half of the league literally want to save themselves for a deep playoff run. IMHO this is caused by too many playoff rounds or games. One round too long if you ask me. The season is about 15-20 games too long as well for the type of sport it is. It would be like increasing the NFL sked to 35 games. No way. I have always been here nor there on fighting. I don't miss it but I don't hate it either. I love the intensity and hitting though. What I don't like from 20 or 30 years ago(Dead Puck Era) is the Jaques LeMaire/ Roger Nielson "clutch and grab" horseshite that turned me off hockey for a while. I think what you are seeing as far as lack of contact the last few years is kind of a reaction against that style of play. Honestly I would rather watch a fast brand of hockey rather than a slowed down, constant clutch fest that we used to have to watch. t
  15. A city and industry created from nothing. Las Vegas is pretty cool. Washington on the other hand, exists to house a mammoth bureaucracy pretty much useless from what I can tell. Unless you dig phony wars and having your paycheck raped for redistribution. GO VEGAS!
  16. A few people over Saturday. Behind our house, there is about 1/4 mile wide gully, mini valley. On the other side, there is a guy(don't know him) with a huge house and a nice backyard. No fence as it's pretty open with no houses around really. Usually, he has a big party on Memorial Day Sunday. A live band (country) and it looks awesome. I think every pickup truck in our town (except for mine ?) is parked on his long a$$ driveway and on the street above.
  17. I got hooked a few years ago on FIFA. Still lots of fun and I'm not even a soccer fan.
  18. That's what everyone keeps and has been saying. I guess that's part of the Knights success. The element of surprise. The Cap's have no idea what they are in for. I watched the last few games of the Cap/TB series and it was full of mistakes compared to all three of the Knights series. Very few missed passes or assignments. I feel Washington won't be able to handle the quickness of Vegas. When I say quick I mean quick to the puck. Quick to the man. Very, very difficult team to have success against. You have to be just as quick as them and play mistake-free hockey. I don't think the Cap's are conditioned that way. Vegas and it will take them 5 games
  19. Fantasy Football is fun. I've never had any luck with Fan Duel so I don't mess with it.
  20. Yeah I wanna go..!
  21. The psycho dog is funny "Are you high? Yur eyes are all red. Did you get into my stash?" lol
  22. I agree with you. Overall enjoyable though.
