Well the optimistic side of me says that Sharks were negatively affected by the long lay off. The Knights loved it. The pessimistic side of me says we can't hang with these guys. I know the next game the Sharks will be better. But even at that, will it be good enough? I've learned not to count them out of anything. Not a good look last night though that's for sure.

True he was weak. Good news is goalies are not expensive these days. Have to look at free agents over the summer to see who is available.

I think this is fan, post-game depression resulting in delusion. The Bruins are NOT a far better team. They are marginally better. Bruins D is average. Goalie is kinda mental/erratic. Like stated before. Leafs are a couple competent (not all-star caliber) dmen away from beating Boston. To go even farther than them they might need a solid power forward as well not sure. I am an objective observer as a Shark fan. Not really watching the east to much I depend on Sirius NHL for a lot of info that way. All I have heard all year is how great Boston is. Well, from the 7 games I watched, they ain't all that. Totally beatable. Leafs do a couple adds in the offseason they beat the Bruins if they meet next year.

Bruins will get worked by Tampa. Not impressed with them at all.

Crazy game. Patty coming through like I figured. Not over Leafs getting lots of open ice. Man, that Bruin defense is there to be exploited with a little speed. I would think this is the way the Leafs would like it. It's their style. A grind it out physical game I don't think they can win that way.

Deja Vu all over again. Toronto in Boston for a game 7. After game 4, I wouldn't have given Toronto a chance. Now the Bruins showing some holes. I think the Leafs definitely have the mo. Bruins at home and the Leafs may have not learned how to win yet. I think Patty will have a big game. Playoff clutch. Not sure if that's enough though. This is what it's all about. I don't watch the east a lot so I don't know much about the Bruins. To me they seem kinda one note. Marchand and Bergeron and a bunch of grinders. No dman that can jump up and join the rush. At least not effectively. They certainly are not a quick team. Goalie isn't great. I feel any team that can roll out 4 decent lines can beat them.

I'm starting to think I overestimated the Bruins. I agree 100% that the Bruins should have closed it out. The Leafs are pretty average on the backend and were there to be had. Now I think the Bruins have made this much more difficult than it should have been. Or at least more than I thought anyway. Leafs have a realistic shot now. Done! Any idea when the west quarters will start? I've heard maybe Thursday?

Sounds pretty good actually! I imagine they have restaurant/bars there so stuff to do I guess you could say that about anything though. Thinking is probably nice venue, common interest, lots of people. food, cocktails etc.

Last year we did an overnight road trip for a game for the first time so take it for what it's worth. We stayed at Staybridge Suites in West Seneca. The place was clean. Service was decent. Rooms were large. Didn't kill us on price and best of all it was 10 minutes from the stadium with no highway driving required. We tailgated at Hammers lot and it was no problem getting back from there. Our room was on the first floor so we were able to park very close to our rooms as well which was convenient. I would stay there again no problem.

So you to with the Marleau thing! My wife was heartbroken when he left. She loves him. I'm afraid she is going to become a Leaf fan because he's there.

Not sure how many people care anymore? Media has lost all credibility. Most know it's all a poorly written script at this point. Only people that pay attention to the networks and CNN are the elderly and the touched.

I kinda enjoyed "Quiet Place" Mark Simple enough story. Well directed. The atmosphere was well done. I bet the actors liked working on it. Didn't have to remember any lines!
