We try to delay the game watching if possible a good hour or so. For exactly the same reason. The NFL broadcasts passed the tipping point long ago for tedium. At least if you have to watch live. The problem is if you are into fantasy you want to know the scoring in real time. But with that, you just switch to a game that has some of your players in it during the Bills game commercials. Hell, sometimes I end up watching more of those games than the Bills one. Depending on what the Bills are up to that weekend that is.

I think pretty much everything is being let go. Penalty calls seem to reduce as the playoffs progress. At this point, something has to be so obvious that the ref would be embarrassed if he doesn't make a call. It seems like it's all about the refs at this point. No argument on Ovi. Fantastic player. I have never warmed up to him. I don't have a solid explanation for that. It will be good to see a player that has been at the top of his game to get rewarded if they were to win it all. Can't deny the career. Good for him if he gets the prize.

I went into semi-hibernation a couple weeks ago. Still paying attention because I love hockey and the playoffs have been great. Another observation is the hit on that Russian kid Kuznetsov. The one that got injured . I'm sure that is a result of the Wilson hit the game before. Britain has such a good record of defending. Hard to believe they are going to roll over so easily. A different kind of war. Very clever if you think about it. Get knowledge and wisdom from your own life experiences and apply that. And sitting in a classroom absorbing what some overpaid schmuck drone on doesn't count as a life experience.

Slaves were a significant investment. If you treated them like total shite no way you could get decent production out of them. Not saying they were treated like hotel guests just that it just doesn't add up that you would buy them just to abuse them. Also, most of the people in the south hated slavery because it lowered the price of labor. I mean to me this is common sense stuff that you just have to apply yourself.

Whatever the name, it's pretty much nature taking its course. One society/culture develops faster than the other. A lot of nations/cultures really are better off being colonized. The average IQ in sub-Saharan Africa hovers around the 65 mark. Not really conducive to self-governing in a healthy way. Not conducive to having a productive, safe existence. South Africa is a friggen mess now. Someone has to take control. At least they get access to technology of the time, health care, food so they don't starve. Whoever is doing the colonizing gets whatever value they are after. Not racist or cruel. Just reality.
