The longest death scene in the history of film. I was hoping for him to turn and chomp on Rick or Bichon just to move it along.

I think this is due to cell phone use. I see that all the time someone going under the speed limit while texting or whatever. You pass them. When they are done f'ing around they speed up and pass you!

But it's Europe. They are pretty much better at everything than us. At least that's been the narrative for the last 40 years. Anyway, it sucks in Cali just like everyone else. Apparently, no one knows they have a signal installed in their car. I always seem to get stuck behind someone going the speed limit in the fast lane. Usually a Prius strangely enough. Also a lot of the "undocumented" running around without insurance.

This one is my current favorite

I like this guy. Must be a $50 cocktail though.

We have 4 Samsungs. A couple times I strayed to different brands and I was not happy. The 65" 4K is great.

Of course, it's worth it. Solid movie. Did a very good job replicating (pun intended) the atmosphere of the first movie. Liked it a lot. To bad you didn't see it on the big screen though. Grab popcorn and a beer and enjoy!

Get one of these to go with any surround system you have. Great subwoofer for the price. I love ours. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/klipsch-reference-12-400w-powered-subwoofer-black/6228076.p?skuId=6228076

This sounds right to me. He didn't really realize what just happened. Man that guy had to be one sore puppy the next morning.

Went to see "Winchester" last night. Bad. A bunch of jump scares. They wore thin. Absolutely no tension building. The acting was average I guess. They didn't even really explore the oddities and uniqueness of the house that much. Which is strange because it's what the movie's title is. I guess it was a try to give us Hollywoods anti-gun point of view but they weren't even really effective in doing that. Don't bother 4/10

I understand the attraction. But being totally exposed at those speeds seems to much of a risk to justify the pleasure and economy of running a bike.

What trips do you have planed fo this year
Dante replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Just been informed (by wife) that we are going to Sestri Levante, Italy. For 10-12 days apparently early August. I guess I have to go. Her family is from there. A second trip to Buffalo for a Bills game yet to be determined. Sometime in September or early October. Weather gets a little to sketchy for me after that. Hopefully we can meet up with TBD freinds again! -
Motorcycles are just a bad idea.

Additional cycles and I can't get rid of them. I reset the controller as a last resort. I'm pretty sure there is only one schedule. It doesn't help that the controller is behind a shelf I have to kinda reach in a couple feet. hahaha a swat helicopter with a megaphone will hover above our house if I have gall to do that. It is cali.

I have been having trouble with my controller for a while now. I ended up doing a factory reset on it and started programming from scratch. Still double and triple waters. Can't figure it out. I was thinking of getting one that you can control with your phone. Has anyone tried this one? http://rachio.com/smart-sprinkler?utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=adwords-sprinkler-keywords&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI383ywdKF2QIVD3R-Ch0Uvg7sEAAYASAAEgL7zfD_BwE Or any other suggestions??

What is Ozark about? Is it on Netflix or Amazon? -
I forgot all about that. It was horrible. Also brought back memories of Peter Puck!

I just get tired of being hit over the head with this stuff. We saw "Wind River" and I couldn't agree more.

I feel this isn't even a driving issue. It's just common sense like you pay attention when you are in control of a speeding multi ton object. Just like I pay close attention when I'm straining hot water from my pasta. I really hate getting scolded so I'm locked into that colander. Some things shouldn't have to be taught.

They can't shut down! They have too many vital responsibilities. We could never function without them. What would we do if they didn't take care of stuff like this! http://reason.com/blog/2018/01/25/california-bill-would-criminalize-restau

This is crazy! http://dailyupperdecker.com/2018/01/probably-not-the-best-idea-to-let-a-guy-who-needs-a-motorized-scooter-on-land-to-drive-a-boat-in-which-you-need-to-stand-to-see-in-front-of-you/

Disaster Artist was the best I saw this year. The Three Billboard movie was laughably cliched. Heavy-handed garbage. I giggled out loud a few times how horribly unsubtle it was.

Anyone familiar with San Fran Bay Area?
Dante replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You can go out farther to places like Lathrop past Tracy,Ca. Another 30- 40 miles east of Pleasanton. My nephew bought one out there for the same reason. It's definitely NOT the same area though. Not as nice as you are now getting close to Stockton, Ca. . Not bad but honestly nothing like Pleasanton/Dublin vibe. Schools won't be as good. When or if this does happen for the two of you it would be wise to come out and spend time looking at your options. Here are some Lathrop homes to give you an idea. https://www.trulia.com/CA/Lathrop/?cid=sem|dis|google|tbw_nb_stategeo_ca_fs_nat_cities_exact|Lathrop-HomesForSale-Exact_1042134444_50991527477_kwd-321858194574_246433790294_ -
Wait for Netflix. You will thank me later.
