  1. @muppy Here's an interesting map. Shows the current populations and historic range of the N.American bison. There was really "buffalo" in Buffalo, New York! (Hope @BringBackFergy doesn't mind the quick side bar to bison) EDIT: Notice eastern historical range is disputed.
  2. Nice! If they were smart bears they'd press on to their ancestral homeland in Puerto Vallarta! I am sure the Mexican government would offer repatriation/reparations. 😏
  3. Hope they know the difference between oysters and clams and know how to spell what month it is. Maybe @Mike in Horseheads can give them a lesson on which months have an "R" in it! 😉 Anyway, I found this fascinating read, they ain't as dumb as we think about shellfish toxins! https://www.animalquarters.com/what-animals-eat-oysters/ "...Oysters must be eaten when they are alive, as dead oysters are known to contain bacteria that can prove to be dangerous. When we consume raw oysters, we ensure that they are fresh. The wild bears instinctively avoid dead oysters as they know these to be dangerous and toxic. You will find that bears only consume fresh oysters. They break these open with their powerful paws to eat the flesh inside."
  4. If things go sideways, they will cut him.
  5. Remember the Sabres player Henrik Tallinder? Yet, they were suspended from the Swedish team. He still played for the Sabres. Also, unless I am wrong, like Pat Kane, Araiza will just play through it. "In 2005, Tallinder, and fellow Swedish hockey players Kristian Huselius and Andreas Lilja were investigated on suspicion of sexual exploitation. In March 2005, all three players were suspended from the Swedish national team for one year, with Huselius and Tallinder being released by Swedish club Linköping. Lilja was not suspended by Swedish club Mora, but decided to take a break for the remainder of the rest of the season. Initially police had dropped their investigation within two days 11 February 2005 when a 22-year-old woman accused the trio of raping her 9 February, because of a lack of evidence. However, a special prosecutor reopened the case in March, leading to the suspensions. Tallinder and the others were cleared in June of that year."
  6. Nothing. If he's indicted in a criminal trial than he's gone. Not sure if that still possible, this is civil and 3 people are on complaint. The bar is way lower. They settle like Pat Kane did and move on? It's a civil complaint. They get nothing if he can't make money... How does that make the plaintiff whole? Didn't I read that one offer by the plaintiff was withdrawn? Only punishment is his money AND if it went criminal, which is strange because that's usually first. Why would the Bills punishment him? They drafted him. 2 punters went before him, maybe that's why he fell to Bills.
  7. Yup! And he's probably in Charlotte as we speak. Sleeping. This from ESPN.com article: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34460423/buffalo-bills-punter-matt-araiza-two-san-diego-state-football-players-accused-gang-raping-minor-lawsuit "...The NFL said in a statement that it was also aware of the incident but declined to comment. Because the alleged rape happened before Araiza was drafted, he would not be subject to the league's personal conduct policy. ..."
  8. They casually used the term male to describe the best men golfers and nobody is butt hurt.
  9. I guess we can just debunk #3: https://www.liveabout.com/ranking-golfs-greatest-players-1561114
  10. Not sure. I know the Pat Kane rape story didn't derail their cup run. If the team is behind him, they are behind him... No distraction. Let's see how it plays out before they kick him to curb.
  11. It's true... I am at work and the tow boat pilot and deckhands talking about it and they are from Arkansas! 😆 ...You know why? Because their fantasy draft is this weekend. 😆
  12. One punt that was 17 yards short of the longest punt in history. AND the longest punt in history was muffed and bounced 30 yards. 😆
  13. And there's other people on the complaint, CIVIL complaint... Burden of proof way lower than criminal complaint. If they cut him, they cut him... But if they don't, then he's not a distraction.
  14. Why did they come to Bills on 7/31 and then wait over 3 weeks to file? Just doesn't add up? There's other people on the complaint... Why did they talk to Bills?
  15. 4 punters were drafted. 2 went higher than Araiza. Did Baltimore and Tampa know something. Heck, did the Bills know? One went lower, the Bears drafted punter.
  16. Only thing we have holding back anarchy.
  17. Fair... The climate is more torch and pitchfork now
  18. I have to say yes. If we don't trust the legal system... Who can we trust?
  19. But it was only Deshaun w/those victims. Bit muddied w/Araiza... I am all for condemning after we see how legal system plays out. I will still condem him for that night too...
  20. Fair enough....But Brown got a bunch of chances. Bills obviously knew this week's ago and still cut Haack. They know more than we know.
  21. You're rushing to judgement. He's accused of that. Not saying she's lying... But what if he's a patsy and she's getting him confused with other's. There's other's involved here.
  22. If they believe him, then they should deal with it. If they don't, then cut him. This has nothing to do with the Bills being inconvenienced. Life is an inconvenience.
  23. Yes we do. Only Watson was involved. There are others involved here.
  24. I am with you, but was it really him? Or did he aid in the act... Etc... We just don't know YET.
