  1. I have not read the 33 pages but this is my take: I like TT and hope he is our QB of the future. Nevertheless, TT's agent has not created any leverage whatsoever in the negotiations. TT's agent essentially wants the Bills to pay TT as if TT already has proven that he is entitled to be paid as an elite QB. In no way shape or form does that put the Bills at risk. No team is going to pay TT in free agency more than what his agent is demanding now before TT has shown he is worth that kind of money. The guy taking the risk is TT. He and his agent should seriously offer the Bill a deal that is attractive to the Bills now so that TT does not have to risk the ramifications of getting injured or not proving he is worth the $$$. TT can guaranty that he will be a millionaire the rest of his life. Do TT and his agent want to risk that? Just my two cents.
  2. In my best Colonel Klink voice: "I want Hogan." Hogan is a smart guy whom the Bills can develop with our own QB whisperer. Plus, he already is familiar with Roman's offense. We presumably can draft him in the middle rounds after we plug some holes in the first few rounds.
  3. If I were a Bills defensive player, I would not be going out of my way to advertise that my coach had to dumb down the defense for me.
  4. I feel really bad for the guy. He seems like a great guy and has had a heart wrenching off season.
  5. Louis CK has a routine about all the aggressive things that people say and do directed toward other people while driving their cars that they would not dream of doing in an elevator (If someone accidently bumped into you in an elevator would you start screaming in their face f*** you while giving them the finger). The internet (e.g., twitter, Two Bills Drive) is the electronic version of cars in this example.
  6. I like Kobe, but thought this was kind of funny from the Onion: "Kobe Bryant Tears Up While Reflecting On All The Mistakes Teammates Made During His Career" http://www.theonion.com/article/kobe-bryant-tears-while-reflecting-all-mistakes-te-51983
  7. For fun, I took a look at this draft value chart: http://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp I noticed that our first round pick (pick 19) is essentially equal to Denver's first (pick 31) and second (pick 63) picks. If we did something like that, we would have picks 31, 49, and 63 (in addition to our other picks).
  8. A couple of observations: What is it with La Canfora. For a while now, when I have read something he has written that relates to the Bills, it seems as though someone pissed in his daisies. Is it me or does it seem that whenever La Canfora writes about the Bills, the article or tweet was ghost written (or at least edited) by Jerry Sullivan. As for Cardale Jones, I have no problem with the Bills bringing him in BUT I would not spend a high pick on him. He could be great, but there is no value in spending a high pick on him. I kind of feel bad for Cardale. He should never have let Uban Meyer talk him into staying another year. I have a feeling he would have been a first or second round choice last year. Just my two cents.
  9. . . . but I like having it both ways.
  10. Why do we have to choose? I like both. No reason why we cannot use both.
  11. Bucky may want to re-consider whether the Bills should cut Shady.
  12. As much as he frustrated us Bills fans, he did a great job for his clients and built a tremendous agency practice -- nothing was handed to him. RIP Eugene Parker.
  13. Once I read that he referred to his work as "reasoned criticism," I knew it had to be an April Fool's joke.
  14. For some reason (call me foolish), I think that Percy has some loyalty to the Bills, the Pegulas, and Rex for all that they did. I have a feeling that, if he is going to play in 2016, he will play for the Bills. The only thing that concerns me about this is that Vic's "source" says he is "definitely playing." Given the recent history of Vic's sources, this probably means that he is about to submit his retirement papers. Just joking Vic. I like you, but you do have a source (maybe not this one) who has given you some bad information since you came back to Buffalo.
  15. If the agent really wanted to be forthcoming, he would tell the world just how much he is demanding for just a hand full of starts. That would be interesting.
  16. Pat's consolation prize after we stole Jim Dray.
  17. Once a Bill, always a Bill.
  18. Very well said!

  20. Bills reportedly are hiring former UNC DL Coach John Blake. Blake wiki - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Blake_(American_football) Blake was the Cowboys DL coach from 1993 - 1995. Blake was Oklahoma's HC from 1986-98. Blake also received a three year show cause from the NCAA for his time at UNC. 22. Hogan is a good player and will do very well for the Pats and with Brady. The Pats are making a smart move. By the same token, 7/11 is probably more valuable playing for the Pat and with Brady than he is for the Bills. Whenever Gronk lights us up, I always wish that the Bills had taken him. Yet, I wonder to what extent Gronk would have been Gronk if had been playing for the Bills these past few years rather than with Brady. That is not to say Gronk is not an elite player. He is. It is just that I sadly believe that his talents probably would have been wasted with the Bills.
  23. RIP George. The first time I went to London, I went to Abbey Road to see the studios there. As an aside, if you ever get a chance to see the documentary featuring George and his son working on the Beatles' Love soundtrack for the show in Vegas, it is very interesting.
  24. I like Nigel. I have never questioned his work ethic. I will chalk up his comments about Mario as him not wanting to throw Mario under the bus. Either that or he is actually talking about Mario Butler. Anyone who watches the tape knows the level of Mario Williams' effort. Effort has nothing to do with scheme. The minimum that a team, teammates, and fans can and should expect of a player -- particularly the highest paid player in the history of the franchise -- is put in the effort. Just my two cents.
