God damn, those are a lot of impressive ingestion feats. But, from a weight perspective, 25 lbs of poutine in 10 mins is incredible.

Someday, documentaries will be made on the Warrioirs front office.

Chubby is only 76. I thought he was much older. While looking up his age, I came across a lawsuit he recently settled against HP for their. penis measuring app, the ‘Chubby Checker’ https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/technology/2014/jul/25/chubby-checker-penis-measurement-app-lawsuit-hewlett-packard

My rep told me this week an email will be sent to season ticket holders for practice tickets @ SJF. A separate mailer will go out to season ticket holders shortly after July 4 for the practice tickets at New Era.

Notable Nexflix / Amazon / Premium Channel Series & Movies
Mr Info replied to Heitz's topic in Off the Wall
Wife & I started watching this and Tabula Rasa (which you mentioned in a post in March) about the same time. At first, we liked KE more but in the end preferred TR. We thought KE jumped the shark at the end. There will be a second season for KE and I hope they can preserve the edginess in the storyline. -

Wife & I liked Tabula Rasa. Good story & surprise ending. Subtitles are not always necessary as you can tell what is transpiring. -
Oh, he certainly is. This article best describes him https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theringer.com/platform/amp/2017/1/5/16041098/dr-joseph-mercola-natural-health-website-bc1ac5e6ebc But he is similar to Verdis Norton behind the Asea scam...and those behind the MonaVie scam ...and those behind the laetrile scam...

Where is your clinical data to support what you are advocating? The CDC lists 15% of protein for males 20+. 20% if you are an athlete. This is based on extensive clinical results. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/diet.htm I expect that caffeine is the basis for your coffee claim. Is that correct?

Be very careful of anything Mercola says. He has been ordered by the FTC to stop false claims. https://www.quackwatch.org/11Ind/mercola.html

I will ask since you stated it. Are you and your girlfriend type 1 or type 2 diabetics? If you are type 2, here is a good compendium article on why glucose levels can be better on this diet. Some of the reported results are conflicting and, as the article states, long term studies are necessary to determine effects of additional protein in type 2 diets. https://www.livestrong.com/article/349857-is-the-atkins-diet-good-for-type-ii-diabetes/

The Keto diet along with other low carb/high fat/protein diets (i.e., Paleo, Whole30, Atkins) are popular. Most of these diets are difficult to sustain but can work well in the short term. Typically, you are ingesting more sodium and with the higher protein, cholesterol levels may increase. I exercise intensely quite a bit and do not use a diet. I weigh 5 lbs more than when I graduated from HS a long time ago. I try to eat healthy, avoid processed foods and fast foods, and do not over eat. I do not find it difficult to skip meals (e.g., lunch if I know I will be going out for dinner). I have two tenets: 1.) eat no more calories than what you will expend in watts that day 2.) 80/20 rule: eat healthy 80% of the time but enjoy what you want the other 20%. Some people require more structure which is why these diets, NutriSystem, and others exist. If they work for you, then great. Some are very restrictive which makes it difficult when going to a restaurant. And others avoid foods that are certainly healthy. If I were on one of these diets, I would request a periodic lipid panel performed to make sure cholesterol, ldl, hdl, tris had not changed adversely from this diet due to the high protein consumption.

Anybody live near a railroad track?
Mr Info replied to RochesterRob's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I forgot to add some info to my reply after I saw the communication between @707BillsFan& @RochesterRob The town I live in has a restriction of 30 mph for all trains (Amtrak & CSX) thru the town. In addition, there is a restriction on train audio whistles/horns thru the town but unsure of the exact wording of that restriction. -

Mr Info replied to RochesterRob's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I used to live along the tracks in a historic house in a historic town. It was an active Amtrak and CSX line. It was too noisy for me but a beautiful house and nice neighborhood. I ended up selling that house and moving two blocks away from the tracks because I really like the town. I no longer experince the noise issue but have the convenience of an Amtrak station within walking distance. -
Hot for Teacher: Virginia style
Mr Info replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yep, saw this too and right in my town but my boys went to another school. On Monday I will stop where the locals go for coffee to get the scoop. I don’t recall any of this happening when I went to school. But we did have one scandal when I was attending Catholic grade school. An acquaintenance’s (year younger) mother died and his dad ended up marrying the nun who taught my friend. Yes, we all thought that Sister Mary was hot and no, I do not have any pics. -

Will see them the last 2 nights at the Lockn Festival at the end of August. -
This is tough for me. I went with my wife to the Indy/Snow Bowl game though I had bronchitis so my enjoyment is somewhat tainted. Great pics from that game and people still ask about it. However, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the playoff game at Jax even though a loss. So impressive how Bills fans took over the city in the first playoff game in a generation. A lot of good memories (and pics) from Lot X. This is even though I traveled with @plenzmd1

The Warriors do not match up well with the Rockets with Iggy out. West, Pachulia, and McGee cannot switch when the Rockets pick and iso. If Iggy can play, then the Warriors have a better chance.

TaB is still available but you have to look around. I tried TaB a few times many years ago and cannot understand why someone would pay a ridiculous price to procure it now with so many better tasting alternatives. But there is much about the human race that I do not understand. Some thought the name meant Totally artificial Beverage but Snopes rebutted that. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/keeping-tab/

Possibly something from Arrested Development.

Just two fests thus far. Floydfest July 25-29 http://floydfest.com/ I will be working helping out my wife's food truck that will be there for the 5th year in a row. But we alternate so can watch bands that we want to see. She brings a crew of 6 young women to work with her so great working environment for me. Lockn Aug 23-26 http://www.locknfestival.com/ Just enjoying the music at this fest...no work. @billsfanmiami(oh) thanks for the info on the Wish You Were Here band. Looked at their schedule but not many other dates yet. If you like Floyd, a couple of other bands are The Machine (they have been doing it for 30 years) http://themachinelive.com/ and Pink Talking Fish http://www.pinktalkingfish.com/tour.html PTF also do Talking Heads and Phish
