  1. And the truth comes out. A good portion of the sacks given up by the right side this season and ones that you are mentioning have been the responsibility of the backs and Te's , which was confirmed by MM himself. You are no different than the other "ballwatchers" (to steal a term from AKC ) that critiques a player without any evidence of the scheme at hand that the player was involved in. Even if you arent familiar with blocking schemes, listen closely and the Coaches and players will reveal some of it to you in their reports to the media. The Spicer reference you made was a valid one and came obviously at a point when Mike was playing out of shape and out of practice due to his offseason issue.
  2. Evidence such as our right side of our line averaging 4.5 yards per carry or our RT superbly handling the pass rush of the Jets' Ellis in both games this season should NEVER into such a worthy argument Face it, when you make statements and cannot EVER back them up your points will not be taken seriously by anyone else. It's simple really. And when you claim to know what you are talking about re: the play of a particular offensive lineman and cannot even refer to any technique/production element that involves said player, you look like a fool.
  3. Ok Mr. Guru grader of offensive linemen, give us your evidence......................................................................... At this point your post is nothing but hot air.
  4. Why, because you say so? You are so full of stevestojan here it's not even funny. Maybe once you will back your statements with a smidge of evidence.
  5. No way is their D tougher specifically against the run than the Jets. Not even close. And the numbers bare it out. btw..nice avatar
  6. But I thought he could do no wrong? Ooops there's a false start to add to his troubles!
  7. You nailed it... That is the tried and tested formula used to beat the Pats. It's the same approach the Tennesee Titans were using to win football games 2 and 3 years ago. Run, run, run, play action, and patience.
  8. As much as I've been pleased with the progress the Bills have made in the last four weeks, I'm not ready to anoint them road warriors in New England in primetime. Still this game is no "gimme" for either club and the Pats will have to play well to secure victory.... The Pats are obviously a well coached, team oriented, smart group of players who have won big games already and will have the home field. Some edges we may have: 1- The running game with McGahee, if utilized properly with commitment, will serve as a confidence builder as the game wears on and will "call off the dogs" to some degree with the Pats Blitz game. The Pats lb's are smart, big, and tough, but one thing they are NOT is fast. If we can seal the edges Willis should be able to get outside a bit. Running often will also allow for some play action passes, given Bledsoe the extra moment or two he needs. Willis needs to get close to 30 carries again. 2- Our ability to stop the run will atleast serve to some degree to dictate what the Pats call on offense, and give our defense a chance to make drives more diffucult for the balanced Pats offense. 3- Moulds will not have to line up against Ty Law, who is pretty much the only guy who's ever been able to "shut him down". The Bills must create ways to get Moulds out of double coverage situations, and rely on Evans when they can't. 4- Opportunity. The only way this can possibly be looked at by our young team is as their one opportunity this season to show the rest of the NFL that they are a good team, and that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future. The Pats have been there, done that, and the moment must be ceized.
  9. My take: If we can hold Dillon in check (ie 85 yds or less), we can win. If not , forget about it...
  10. It's nice to see some analysis here where people just point out facts and stay away from the "TH is a quitter" nonsense...
  11. Both feet were in. It was a great catch and not a "break" in any way
  12. The last time he moved around like that was Vs. the Dolphins, and before that vs. the Jags.
  13. I don't think we're quite there yet, but all signs point to good things to come in the near future. A respectable showing against the Pats is what I expect to happen, but a win is not as far away as it seemed a few weeks ago...
  14. Mark, that is some most excellent DE Analysis on Chris today! The techniques you pointed out that he's succeeding with go unseen by all but the most involved fan. Did you play on a D-Line at some point?
  15. Could there possibly be more proof of a Bills fan who has not actually watched a game this year?
  16. Further, *YAWN*..... proof that for some strange reason, when you're a Bills fan at TBD and there are two players competing or at the same position, you are required by law to go out of your way to paint strikingly warped and exaggerated pictures of the guy who's not "your guy". Willis = more complete back? .... For Sure! Travis not = a good back?.... absurd.
  17. I was anxious and confident about waiting to see Jonas play today with a second chance against Abraham. He got a lot of flack around here for game 1 vs. the Jets when he played with a lower leg injury and concussion effects, but this above average play is truly the Norm for JJ just as long as he's healthy. Man if this guy could just get a long string of good health under his belt we'd see some real consistency.
  18. I'd say that they atleast have the 2 best playing DE combo in the league right now.... Good game Drew!
  19. ha! I didn't hear that... Well I suppose everyone gets a second chance.
  20. I think some people tend to start with "1.......2.......3......4" as soon as the ball is snapped, as opposed to "0.....1......2.....3" which would be the correct way
