  1. Losman is an investment for this team $ wise and draft pick wise. Wether or not fans/media think he will be good or a bust is immaterial because none of them know that answer yet. It would be most unwise to trade him at this point.
  2. Nice try again Johnny. You were wrong the first time, now it looks even worse on you.
  3. Marv certainly had his own style, but is truly comical to me that anyone who witnessed that era could consider him an average to below average coach. Whatever the opposite of myopic is would apply here.
  4. That's what I thought too....
  5. I didn't even look at the other team's picks besides Buff
  6. another option.... Interesting mock: Mock Draft
  7. reggie rogers (sp?)
  8. thanks for the post. I hope we don't pass up Mario for Ngata, as much of a need as DT is not withstanding.
  9. Which I have posted myself. Again my response was about W H E T H E R...O R...N O T...L E V Y...L O S T...T H E...T E A M at the end of his tenure. Christ how friggin dense can one possibly be?
  10. The best GM's in most successful corporations are very motivational and good at delegating and counting on their staff for results. I never drink the stuff you speak of, I just go with the facts at hand. I am not predicting success , nor failure with this move. Only trying to squash mass generalizations and trying to point out that it's just as easy to be a skeptic as it is having a positive outlook. Koolaid, again, is just a crutch term to me.
  11. The response was about whether or not Levy lost his team (ie Players) but I wouldn't expect your reading comprehension to be any better than it has been in the past.
  12. Most people are just being supportive of the team and the possibilities. That's usually what fans do. As stated none of us know what is to come of this move. The Koolaid comments have always struck me as a convenient remark when you don't have anything real to say or to backup what you are saying.
  13. Levy did not lose his team as head coach. We lost our talent due to poorly planned contracts and not addressing the O-line in the draft after Ruben.
  14. Maybe the defensive coordinator to be has his own guys in mind... btw I very much like Krumrie as well
  15. Thomas Babington Macaulay?
  16. Bring in Marvcus Patton for strength and conditioning coach!! Cmon, get on the wagon!
  17. Rusty Jones was Elrond !
  18. Great post and a nice diversion Boromir(sp?) is definitely TKO.
  19. Oh, now I remember you were the bridge jumping season ticket guy from earlier. Get it together man. If you can't find even a ray of light amongst the perceived storm then maybe you should stop focussing on it so much. Glad the sabres won!
  20. Good post. Another thing I believe in and have actually experienced is that a "team" of individuals working together can be very powerful and can accent the positives while compensating for some of the "rough edges" that any of the individuals may have. It's really just the old Sum is greater than the parts concept. And today we learned (or validated for some) that this was not the concept under the previous structure of the team.
  21. Absolutely I agree with you on this. But we were really speaking in generalities ( I think).
