Imagine that. They'd be in the conversation for 1 of the best teams of all time
-
A big part is that we've been picking 20+ picks later since 2019

Valid points bro. I guess I'll agree to disagree only because he beat Allen h2h this year and beat Patty last year when Allen didn't. Alot of variables at play obviously but the kid deserves his respect. He's accomplished more than Josh in 3 years than Allen did in 5. I'll still take Allen all day but these are just facts

Great idea. No reason this shouldn't be implemented in the game. I'm going to suggest this on twitter to all the top nfl executives

Dust has settled...Alphas look at what lies ahead
JerseyBills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
After over a week to process things, I completely disagree. The Bill's are a legit threat going forward and let's be honest - if the Hamlin situation doesn't happen, we may have had a 1st rd bye or we play Cinci in their building without that nightmare happening. Either way, we'd have a better understanding of their gameplan vs us Either way, that game plays out completely different. Imagine seeing a brother/ teammate at that level being given life saving tactics. That's a traumatic experience Looking back, we had the juice vs NE after finding out he's alive and well. And fell apart in the playoffs. And I get it, that's overwhelming, especially to the DBs and defense as a whole. Damar being here was our SB this year and worth more than a Lombardi. Next year we'll have a Lombardi at 1 Bills Drive👍 -
If our guy didn't need 9 minutes of CPR to pump the life back into him, we could have been that team. I'm not blaming Damar or the circumstances. I'm just stating facts. His recovery to life was our SB, this year. I can see Buf going on an early 90s SB run . We'll definitely have a shot. But I believe that just drained everybody and I'll take Damar being alive vs a Lombardi for the 22 Bills. Next year I expect a Lombardi

Been scrolling every 10 pages of this thread. Allen was by far the most super hyped QB as you say it , this off season and first 6 gms of the season. Reality is, Burrow and Mahomes both been to more SBs and Championship games than Allen That's a fact I still wouldn't trade Allen for either but it makes you question the coaching behind him Regardless. Burrow and Patty deserve their respect

Looking at their reaction to the KC game. They're having the same overreactions as us. Truth is , both us will be in legit contention for a SB for years to come
-
I like Morse but boy did KC luck out with a younger , more skilled replacement in Creed. Morse will definitely be here next year. I think he missed 1 or 2 games this year that weren't concussion related. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders

What luck SF has huh. 4 QBs hurt in a season. 2 in a Championship game. Minus QB I thought they had the best roster in the game

Im convinced its coaching (Chiefs showing how to handle Bengals)
JerseyBills replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
Totally agree. I didn't even know Jones was injured til midway through the first. Also Hyde. A rusty Tre , a banged up Poyer. 4/5 of them are all Pros. We'll be fine just need a good draft and some mid tier FA hits like Jones -

No clue.. Anyone on that field could get hurt at any given time. -
Given the 3 year rule. Analyzing the Bills 2020 draft..
JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a reasonable take. Hodgins I was grading based on his time here and it took a bunch of injuries for Dabol to grab him up. It didn't happen early or anything and 31 other teams passed on Hodgins for the majority of the year, so I don't blame our talent evaluation that bad as many have. Didn't know fromm was still in the league but regardless it was a wasted pick. -
Dawkins, Saffold and Knox added to Pro Bowl
JerseyBills replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Knox came on late and was a TD machine late in the year. He's a legit TE , just needs more opportunity in the pass gm. Dawkins graded out as above average but nowhere near elite Saffold was awful and graded out as 1 of the worse OL in the game period. That's out of 200 ol. This is comical -

Ya I was thinking that this year. Only issue is you gotta pay them guys. A team isn't going to let a legit talent walk on a rookie deal -

Miller had a tremendous impact on the whole dl. Even the whole defense. Everyone looked much better on the line before his injury. The way he bends that corner is incredible and it takes pressure off everyone in the front 7 because how much attention he demands . If he gets back to form I think that solves the problem alone. Didn't Beane say he expects Von to be ready for week 1? That'd be a massive boost -

JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea it's wild how they picked up great talents at WR. I think Allen would be in the same position now with Jefferson, I don't know his personality off the field but I think Diggs bought a swagger to this whole offense off the field as well. Which has been important in what they built here as well as the relationship he has with Josh. I like that he gets in his face -

JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The 21 draft looks pretty bad. 3 out of 8 picks already off the team. Boogie and Doyle seem like busts. Hamlin was nice in the 6th. Hope Groot and Brown could take a step This last draft I'm just not sure. It could be a good - great one depending how Elam Cook Shakir and Benford pan out. Lot of potential -

Yup. Which makes it that much worse. That breakdown made me sick. Rushing 4 as well is just mind boggling as well. I'll just never understand how they came up with that strategy -

As of now Jefferson for exactly as you said but I think Diggs was crucial for Josh in 20 and 21 , just bringing that leadership and energy to the O was crucial in Allen becoming elite and we had legit chances at a SB every year he's been here -

In that situation, I hated the flag. I think intent is important and it wasn't malicious, he was just flying to Mahomes. Technically it was a penalty but I do find it absurd that a referee handed them 15 yards after 59+ min of play and a SB on the line. I'd be heated if that happened to us. Never seen this breakdown. Beyond infuriating and completely inexcusable. Unreal -

Watching Mahomes rarely throw more than 10 yards all year and watching our offensive philosophy is infuriating. It was the same with Dabol, I feel Dorsey just adopted that offensive philosophy and put his own stamp on it. We were still great in many categories because of 17 but man I'd love to see him with an elite play caller. I think he'd be MVP damn near every year. Mixing in dink n dunking in his gm and the os philosophy is a must. Frank Clark is also pretty elite. But I agree that their DL talent is fairly equal. They caused havoc and turnovers. It was sad to see really in comparison to our guys. Also watching them completely shut down Mixon who ran all over us was infuriating
