  1. Just as soon as he logs in to read the Wall, and find out how to really manage the team.
  2. Didn't Holtz coach for the Jets in the 1970s?
  3. William, I said to my wife that either Pittsburgh (when they moved up, I thought it was to take Mangold) or Buffalo would've done well by taking Mangold, but both teams got good players anyway. Santonio Holmes, after taking his lumps early, really started to play well towards the end of the year, and capped the year off w/ a great catch and run in OT against Cincinnati. Whitner was pretty solid for most of the year and while we didn't make the playoffs, there's no guarantee we would've done so w/ Ngata, nor is there any guarantee that Ngata would've had the same sort of season he had (which, individually, was good, not great as many would have you believe) w/out players like Trevor Pryce, Kelly Gregg, Adalius Thomas, Ray Ray, Terrell Suggs, and Bart Scott around him.
  4. Hello yourself. I brought my camera to the game, but didn't think to take one damn picture. I was busy collecting money and monitoring the buffet area upstairs. Oh well. I know a few people took pictures; maybe they'll share.
  5. That would be the ideal, but how likely is that to happen considering we traded up to draft McCargo last year and then took Williams later on? Not saying I don't want a DT, I'm just trying to look @ this from the organization's point of view.
  6. Sorry you missed this year's Fiesta Bowl. (And this is coming from a PENN STATE fan!)
  7. A LB that can tackle (maybe, just maybe, even @ or behind the line of scrimmage) would be fine by me.
  8. I was prety much w/ you until I got here... I like his ability, but he has to get stronger. I've grown tired of seeing him get tossed around by defensive linemen. Your scenario is pretty solid overall.
  9. The ticket prices I'm seeing are in the $600.00 - $1,000.00 price range. Oh well. Maybe I'll go to the Florida International game instead...
  10. Ah, memories...
  11. Another bowl game vs the Vols, another PENN STATE win. Ho hum.
  12. Happy birthday, bro. Next year, another roadie to the CNJBBB's spot???
  13. The only ones who should play in our season finale are: the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens
  14. Yeah Gerry, unfortunately, the crybaby Fells Point losers squashed the latest efforts to ban smoking in the city bars. Oh well.
  15. Can't view it @ work. Stupid firewall. I'd love to see how they'll create Galactus. Gotta be cgi, right?
  16. But......but.........you're dead.
  17. You missed the point, so I'll simplify a bit. Schobel is the most consistent pass rusher the Bills have. They get little to no push from the interior DL on passing downs (smaller, quicker DL not providing a consistent rush???), and the left side is just as shaky on third downs. Linebackers? They are on the field on third downs, right? Anyone? So, to sum it up, the Buffalo Bills' pass rush = Aaron Schobel. Unfortunately.
  18. He hasn't left. He currently wears #94 for us. Lines up @ RDE a lot.
  19. The starting time will remain the same, Harv.
  20. Freak. Lion? Yes. Better? No. I give both a ton of respect as the best of all time (along w/ Jack Johnson and a select few others), but I still believe Ali was the best heavyweight of them all.
  21. I think he's referring to the "threes", as in James Brown dying first, now Gerald Ford. Who's next? Hmmm....
  22. Exactly. Marciano was a victim of the times, because there just wasn't much top flight competition during his career. Much like today, the heavyweight division sucked then. The state of the division @ the time is a major reason why many boxing experts decline to put Marciano ahead of Ali. Well, that, and the fact that Ali is the greatest heavyweight fighter of all time.
  23. Hard to get knocked down by 82 year old Joe Walcott or 52 year old Joe Louis.
  24. Anyone stupid enough to question Ali's heart should research his fight w/ Ken Norton, where he fought most of that fight w/ a quarter inch separation in his jaw. Yeah, the guy had no heart.
