    So, the top 3 teams from the Big Least can beat the 4th best team in the Big 11? Impressive. After that, they can ascend to the level of beating powerhouse teams like Cincinnati.

    Give and take.... we give him one more year to prove he can return from the injury, and we take back some of the cap room TKO's contract is currently taking up, make him earn it on the field. In other words, keep him around, but look to restructure his contract.

    Isn't it the BL, for Big Least? Rutgers couldn't beat Cincinnati????????? Damn. My Nittany Lions are about what I thought they'd be after losing 25 seniors: good enough to beat the lesser teams on the schedule (8-0) and not good enough to beat the really good teams on the schedule (0-4 vs the Top 10 teams on the schedule).

    While I do like Bryant Gumbel as a journalist, he didn't seem a really good fit for the booth. He was almost the anti Kevin Harlan or Mike Patrick, seeming a bit bored w/ the whole deal. Of course, the game itself wasn't all that, either.

    RIP He made some very good movies (Short Cuts, The Player, Nashville, M*A*S*H), and only one I didn't particularly care for (Gosford Park). He will be missed.

    Coached and played there......under Woody Hayes and Sid Gilman. My brother, a Miami of Ohio alum (class of '89) loves to go on and on about the "cradle of coaches". I'll bet Steve Fisher will send a nice bouquet, as Bo is the only reason the guy has a national title on his resume as a college hoops coach.
