  1. Robinson is the best of all time, regardless of weight class. I'd put Ali 2nd, then I may even put Jack Johnson ahead of Louis. Both were dominant champions, so you can't go wrong w/ either Johnson or Louis. Patterson? I'd take Gene Tunney over Patterson. I do like Hagler though. He was just awesome and I still feel that he beat Leonard in that fight. That Marvelous Marvin Hearns was a baad mofo as well.
  2. There's always next year. Don't worry. Of course, you could make the trip down to Baltimore for the Bills-Ravens game...
  3. I live in the Baltimore area and I have season tickets. I made half of the trips up there and sold the other half. If I can do it, so can you local people. I am superior to you because I can purchase season tickets. Green Bay is better than you all (I saw it on Wikipedia). Have a Happy Holiday!
  4. Consolation bracket information: Game 1 Kickin Wing vs Blitzing Barracudas Game 2 Absolut Power vs Pro Bowler Good luck to all!
  5. Here's the Final Four: Game1 Wu Tang Financial vs Shop Wreckers and... Game 2 BuffBills#1 vs BUFFALO RULES The winners this week will compete in the championship game next week. Good luck to all.
  6. I love the song "Burn" from the soundtrack to The Crow, but I don't think that would qualify as a sad song.
  7. I wouldn't mind having the seats next to my pair, but I think some broker has 'em, since I always see different people sitting there.
  8. Not a bad package @ all. I wish I'd seen that before making hotel reservations. Even though I live in the area, I'm staying downtown that night to avoid dealing w/ the drunks on the roads. BTW, we are having a pre-game tailgate that Sunday @ Sliders Bar and Grille, which is about a block and a half away from M&T Bank Stadium.
  9. I may be sitting @ the bar watching the game also.
  10. No advance sales needed this time. You can pay @ the door.
  11. "Alone Again (Naturally)" by Gilbert O'Sullivan is a very happy go lucky tune. Same w/ "Taxi" by the late Harry Chapin.
  12. Psycho Ward 86 and I have a trip to Vegas planned for February that is going to use up quite a bit of the finances. I'm also heading up to Erie this weekend (and to the Bills-Miami game as well), so that's it in terms of trips for me for some time. The next time I'll probably get to see PSU play will be next year's game against "that school" in Happy Valley. Have fun @ the bowl game.
  13. Now, I'd like to see him improve on the 5 TDs. Gotta love the progress, though.
  14. I may buy a ticket for that one.
  15. I'd love to see the Bills draft a stud DT early (first round, perhaps?) if they don't make a move to sign a veteran OG. I like Pennington @ RT, but I'd also like to see another player brought in for competition and depth purposes.
  16. The details of the New Year's Eve tailgate before the Bills @ Ravens game are posted in the Baltimore/Washington Area Events forum. To those who are making the trip, see you in Baltimore on December 31st.
  17. DATE, TIME, PLACE The tailgate will be Sunday, December 31st, 2006 at Sliders Bar and Grille, which is located at 504 Washington Blvd in Baltimore. It's across the street from Oriole Park at Camden Yards and just about a block or so away from M&T Bank Stadium. The tailgate will begin at 10:00am and will last until about 1:30pm. Those who plan on staying at Sliders to watch the game are more than welcome to stay beyond 1:30pm. COST The cost for the buffet will be $10.00 per person. MENU Here's the menu (all included in the $10.00 fee): Burgers Chicken Tenders Fries Chili Potato salad Cheese and vegetable platter Chips Pretzels Sodas and, oh yeah... WINGS!! DRINK SPECIALS In addition, there will be drink specials (not included with the $10.00 fee): 2 for 1 beers (Yuengling and Miller Lite) 2 for 1 rail drinks (rum, gin, and vodka) I am also working on possible door prizes and other giveaways. Hope to see you there!
  18. It's been the last thread becasue I've been busy watching games and evaluating players and conferences this year. After the bowls are done and we start getting into pre-draft time, then there will be more activity over here.
  19. I always knew Ralph Wilson posted here.
  20. Would you stop wasting your gift on such trivial crap and hook us all up w/ this instead? Don't be greedy, Joseph.
  21. Despite Rex Grossman.
  22. Who knows? Maybe Penn State will get to play for the national title next year. They have a good young nucleus that will continue to get better. It would be nice. Guess where the title game is next year, Cajun...
  23. Unfortunately, no.
