  1. No. That was Erik Flowers.
  2. I repeat: to each his own. I admit I know very little of this rap stuff, anyway. Thanks for setting me straight.
  3. To each his own. I like 2Pac, but I still like his debut (2Pacalypse Now) over his later efforts.
  4. It Takes A Nation of Millions is PE's best work. 'Fear' is good, but not on the level of Nation of Millions. You can't go wrong w/ either, though.
  5. Not bad, but man is he raw. It's nothing more reps won't fix though. He needs to get on the same page w/ Palmer, as he has been taking a beating this year.
  6. I love the enthusiasm about the linemen, both of whom I thought were solid prospects, but you do realize that neither guy has been activated yet? Justice is stuck behind William Thomas on their depth chart (solid starter) while Jean-Gilles is behind Todd Herremans (decent starter, nothing special).
  7. I'm planning to read Adams vs Texas, a book written by Randall Dale Adams, who was wrongly convicted of and served over 12 years in prison for the murder of a Dallas police officer. I saw the movie "The Thin Blue Line" (which helped to free Adams from prison) and loved it. This book is his account of what happened and goes into more detail than the Errol Morris documentary did.
  8. I saw the trailer on TV a few days ago. Not bad. Hopefully it will be a really good movie.
  9. Ready to Die, Biggie's first CD, is a classic. It's up there w/ Nas' Illmatic, Wu-Tang Clan's Enter the Wu, and Tribe's Low End Theory as some of the best hip hop CDs ever. I can't say that for All Eyez on Me. I'd rather listen to 2Pacalypse Now, which is very underrated, or the Makaveli CD than that one.
  10. Probably not as much, if the Bills ever see a good level of success. What do you hear about more: the a** whoopin' the Patriots took from Chicago in the Super Bowl, or the "Belichick is great, Brady is wonderful, and their defense is marvelous" lovefests from their Super Bowl wins?
  11. Gaines will probably be a top 5 pick. Better start rooting for the Bills to lose out if you want him or especially CJ ( a top 2 pick).
  12. Who's Coli?
  13. Well, if not Brooks, then I guess we should go after Vinny then, huh?
  14. You're right, Lori. George sucked.
  15. Some decent choices, but I'd much rather see us end up w/ Buster Davis as a LB prospect than either Posluszny or Willis. Then again, I'd rather see us end up w/ Baker than any of those LBs. If Baker is there, I'd be happy to see the Bills end up w/ him.
  16. Cool; another Rick Rude fan. I was in attendance for Wrestlemania 5 in Atlantic City, when Rude beat the Ultimate Warrior (thanks to Bobby Heenan) for the Intercontinental title. Those were the days; back when pro wrestling was a lot of fun before McMahon turned it into bargain basement porn w/ a side order of has beens and subpar losers elevated to 'superstar' status. John Cena????
  17. Thoughts... Your team is playing w/ confidence now. We aren't. Mario Williams is getting better pressure on QBs lately. The guy looks pretty tough. The fact that he's playing through what has to be some serious pain is impressive. DeMeco Ryans is a monster! I expect to see him all over the field Sunday. Andre Johnson is having a stellar year. He could rip up our secondary the way Roy Williams did when we lost to Detroit. Too bad Charles Spencer got hurt. He was looking like a pretty good left tackle. I was surprised, as I thought he was a more natural fit @ guard. Hopefully, he'll rebound. Maybe Lundy will turn out the be the back the Texans need. Maybe not. I hope the Bills win this one. I don't go into games expecting them to win; too much heartbreak results when you do.
  18. If you have an award that is supposed to go to "the best player in college football", then linemen should get consideration too, especially if they're as good as Pace, whose play created the "pancake block" statistic they now use in college and the pros to measure linemen. The guy was, in my opinion, clearly the best player in college football, which is how he ended up being the top overall pick in the draft that year.
  19. Ah yes, Orlando Pace. The St Louis Rams didn't make the same mistake the Downtown Clown Club made: they knew he was the best player in college football and made him the top pick in the draft. I'll bet they regret that move.
  20. The Bills have great linebackers? Really? Fletch is having a solid year, and Crowell is coming off a standout GAME, but I wouldn't call the 2006 effort of this LB corp "great" by any means. Spikes has been virtually invisible this year, a sign that maybe he isn't fully healed from the Achilles injury. Crowell spent most of the season making tackles for 7-10 yard gains and there's no depth, requiring the team to start a rookie for a good portion of the year.
  21. Players of Lee's caliber should know to run their routes beyond yard markers and fight for tough yards as well. I like Evans a lot, but I think even considering all the good things he's shown (great deep threat, excellent hands and body control), he still must master the "little things" about the WR position before he can be of the caliber of guys like Holt, Harrison, Smith, Owens, and Moss. I just hope he doesn't master these things on another team's roster.
  22. Yeah, he's been that bad this year. I don't believe he's a bad player, but he is struggling this year, and it could cost him big bucks on draft day. Brown was a lock for a top 10 pick going into his senior year. Now, I'm not so sure.
  23. You said it, and, unfortunately, it ain't gonna get any better. Of the Rivals 100 OL prospects, Penn State has gotten a grand total of zero committments so far (actually, they've gotten zero Rivals 100 recruits of ANY position) and is on the short list of just one of them..........and they're the last team on that particular list. Guess that means we have to pray that they coach up these young guys, since we're not getting any infusion of talent for the O line via recruiting.
  24. As much as it pains me to say this, as I am a Penn State fan, Levi is NOT having a solid senior season. The entire OL, including Brown, stinks this year.
