Not being there on the sideline today, so I can’t say for sure what the wind is like, but “with the wind” is a tricky proposition in that stadium. Many a time you’d stand down there and while the flags were whipping straight left to right, it was in your face on the sidelines when it swirled. That said, I think McD will “take the wind” and go left to right in the 4th.

I don’t wanna belabor the point but in my original post responding to you today, I said that Gabe has made a ton of great plays and you said, “Right…..because of Josh…..and Diggs being bracketed all game.” That sounded like you were implying that anybody could have made those plays “because of Josh” and I think that was a reasonable takeaway. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

Of course its because of Josh and I never came close to implying otherwise. Davis has struggled at times, no doubt. But he’s made some plays since coming here. It’s very convenient to suggest anyone else would have made those plays, especially all those amazing toe drags for big plays, because we will never know. I agree. He is more of a role player as we’ve seen when other WRs have started opposite Diggs.

Per the bold, and he’s made a multitude of huge plays since he got here. Big time plays. Sure, he benefits greatly from playing with Josh and who wouldn't, but Davis has made plays that stand out and setting a record in the playoffs on the road doesn’t hurt his credibility, either.

Especially when you consider that they seldom call it anymore when the hold wasn’t instrumental in the success of the play on which it was called. That wasn’t always the case and it was infuriating when it was called against a player that was never really involved in the play to begin with.

Did you see the play he was injured on? Perhaps the most ungraceful shoulder injury ever. Then again, it’s hard to be graceful when that much mass is moving as fast as it can.

Yep. They abused the rest of our back seven after Edmunds left. It sucks losing either one of TE or MM, but not having both in that game hurt especially with Poyer also absent. If Milano can’t go, at least Klein will be an upgrade over who we had last time.
