Of COURSE there were concerning plays. But that’s not my point. My point is that anyone can take any unsuccessful play and say that if that play were successful, then the narrative changes. Honest people don’t ascribe different outcomes to fictional results like this guy did.

Well, the tag amount for DTs was just north of $15m for this year. Given our needs in other areas, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Beane and Co. thought that was too high.

Like I said, it all depends on how his medical evaluations check out. He’s gonna be poked and prodded like never before and, if green lighted, he’s gonna get drafted high. I’ve not seen or heard a single evaluation to this point that agrees with your take that he is “garbage” and “isn’t very good.” Maybe he won’t be good at the next level, but he’s checked all the boxes to this point per the scouting community. There’s still some evaluation to be done vis a vis his mental acuity and that could cause him to drop, but I doubt it.

I’m sure there’d be a TON of interest in Roman if he could bring Jackson with him. Don’t get me wrong as I give Roman a ton of credit for the schemes he comes up with for Jackson; stuff the league has simply not seen. But imo, Jackson is literally the only QB that can do what he is doing in that offense.
