Antonio Brown: Apology Tour - Preparing for return?
K-9 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t believe a single playoff contending team is interested in adding AB to its roster. Not. One. It makes absolutely ZERO sense on multiple levels. -
They didn’t find their legs until the 10 minute mark of the first and from there on out we pretty much owned them, especially in the 2nd. I think the shots attempted were something like 65 to 29 in our favor. We really owned the offensive zone much of the time. Sorry you had to suffer through Dunleavy on the radio. He’s the worst.

Why you do me like this, God?

Head Coaches in the last 50 years: Buffalo vs Pittsburgh
K-9 replied to Motorin''s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Including interim head coaches? Looks good from where I sit. -
For some reason, I keep seeing the thread title as: Antonio Brown Apoplectic.
-
Thinking they had enough other talented receivers had nothing to do with their decision to get rid of Brown. Nothing at all.

Yep. If the Steelers can’t run the ball, they will lose. Period.

More like the Condiment Bowl: ketchup vs. relish.

One of the greatest seasons by a player in league history, regardless of position. Even more impressive because EVERY opposing D player keyed on him. Every. Play.

Teams have had that blueprint for Allen since last season. The difference between the Pats*** and Ravens blitz schemes vs. everybody else’s is their respective CB play. I’m not convinced the Steelers have the CBs to support all those Cover 0 blitzes. That said, the Steelers D can hurt you in other ways, regardless.

If there is one thing I’ve noticed about Allens’s attempts on go routes, especially vs. blitzes like we saw Sunday, is that they are rushed. Allen seldom has or takes the time to set properly and make a smooth delivery. Virtually every time. Maybe Daboll should scheme some mass protections to give him that extra second to set up. Our wideouts have done a decent job of beating press coverage and that extra time just might help Allen gauge it a little better.

Nicholson already did that role. Has an actor ever played the same role in two unrelated movies before?

Good listen, thanks for posting. Liked the part about Eichel not being afraid to embarrass guys in practice. You get better in practice and it’s nice to know he is setting a standard in that regard. Reminded me of the stories about Hasek back in the day when Lindy would tell him to let guys score on him practice sometimes so they wouldn’t get discouraged. Hasek said, “screw that, they have to EARN the right to get a puck past me.” Something about that mentality appeals to me. It screams “competitor” and that’s always a good thing.
