  1. You’re arguing that the Vikings knew JJ would be the best WR in the league. That’s the post that you quoted and rebutted……. So, at this moment, do the Bills know that Kincaid will be the best TE in the league? when teams draft players in the 20’s most don’t think that they are drafting the leagues best at their position. Sure, they think that they’ll be good…..but that’s different. You seem to be arguing that the Vikings knew they were drafting the best WR in the league when they drafted him. You can stand on that hill because there will never be proof to prove one side or the other. It’s just a strange hill to stand on
  2. Agreed. I think he’s a great offensive mind. Might be best served as a career OC. Time will tell, but I can see why some Miami fans can’t stand him. Please don’t allow this to come to life. Our collective hearts would not be able to endure this scenario
  3. My guess is Cleveland (to reunite with stefanski) or the ravens (who have Melvin gordon on their team)
  4. Because if they KNEW he was going to be the best WR in football, they wouldn’t have sat there and hoped that the eagles (who everyone knew needed a WR) would draft Jaelon Reagor. No one had Reagor rated ahead of Jefferson (except Roseman apparently). He fell into their laps. They were very lucky. Don’t get me wrong, I thought he was going to be a very good WR at worst with upside for greatness. But what @BillsFanForever19 said “no one knew Justin Jefferson was going to be Justin Jefferson”…..Aka the best WR in the league. It can never be proven either way, but if minny thought he was the best WR in the entire league, I think they would’ve traded up. ceedee lamb was taken at 18- then 2 major reaches in Austin Jackson and Damon Arnette. Minny could have traded up. They didn’t. The “you can’t prove me wrong” argument.
  5. Easy- if teams knew he was going to be the best WR in the league, he wouldn’t have slipped to 22. 4 teams drafted other WRs over him. I think it’s safe to say exactly what @BillsFanForever19 said. No one knew Justin Jefferson would become the best WR in the league.
  6. And yet, somehow, the great Howie Roseman took Jaelon Reagor over Jefferson.
  7. If I’m them, I’d make sure to get my hands on one of the top 8 QBs in this draft. Let Tua play out the 5th year. Use the franchise tag 1-2 times if he stays healthy and plays well. By that time. They’ll know what they have and if he’s worth it. They’ll also know if their 2024 draft pick is worthy of a shot
  8. Just because you don’t recall it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Rewatch the KC game. He had 2 pressures on 3rd down that led to incompletions mid game and then he took Mahomes down the play after Toney’s Offside. Mahomes got rid of the ball just as he was about to hit the ground. Josh Allen probably would’ve been called for grounding in the play. other than those plays, he hasn’t done much of anything- I agree. He’s been bad. It’s most likely my lack of belief in Jonathan coupled with my belief that Von Miller will be a capable player at some point. I don’t know when that will be, but the playoffs would be ideal. again, I get why everyone would rather have him on the bench. When he’s bad, he’s bad.
  9. That’s not more than you can say for miller in the KC game. Miller made plays in crucial spots vs KC. Big time plays that got the KC offense off the field. I know he’s been bad and I realize why others don’t want him out there. I just think he’s capable of improving is more apt to make a big play.
  10. I don’t think he should be active but I want him to be active. If it’s between Miller and Jonathan, I’ll take Miller. Might not be the right move but I’m optimistic that he will make a few big plays this season.
  11. I friggin love this guy. So passionate. Give it everything at all times. Not the player he was, but he and Micah are instrumental in this D’s success. The communication. Love this DB group we have. Sunday better not be their last game together. It can’t be.
  12. @Billsfan1972 @ScottLaw you guys don’t think Josh’s passing has been part of the problem this year? Thought think he’s been throwing the ball this year as well as he was in 2020?
  13. Of course- Allen >>> hurts. but allen has been part of the problem
  14. Not such a hot take after the year he’s had. He hasn’t impressed me (this year) and has regressed throwing the ball this se Just like Josh has regressed throwing the ball since Gb last season. He’s had flashes and is a force of nature escaping the rush as well as running. Still beastly enough to will his team to victory, but our passing offense isn’t struggling just because of the playcalling and the playmakers. Making magic by extending plays and QB runs, thats Allen’s and Hurts’ game. Without that ability, neither would impact players this season imo. as much as I love Josh, he just hasn’t been a great passer this season. (I’m in insinuating that you disagree, just a random somewhat hot take of my own)
  15. So Mahomes should be all pro this season, got it Jalen Hurts has not be a better QB than Purdy this season. Not even close. That’s ridiculous. 2 years ago we would’ve laughed at Hurts being all pro- now after one great season, he’s a consensus elite all pro QB? That’s nuts
  16. All pro quality which year? He’s been better than the all pro quality QBs THIS season. Mahomes is the best QB in the league. He’s all pro quality. Should he be named all pro? Which all pro quality QBs are all pro worthy this season?
  17. If you’ve watched every niner game, I don’t see how you’re not giving him any credit here. I’ve watched pretty much every niner game for the last 10+ years- He did more than just hit wide open WRs. All-Pro is reserved for the best players of THAT season. It’s not reserved for former all pros that are considered elite. It was a poor year for QBs- Purdy was better than most this season. I wouldn’t label him elite either, but compared to the other QBs this season, he was top 3 if not 2.
  18. I’d be all in favor. That said, I think we’re going to go WR then DL or DL then WR. Maybe another WR in rd 3. Then a combination of S, OL, DL. Maybe a QB McD is the DL hoarder. Expect DL early
  19. That was his only good season as a pass blocker. He improved from terrible his whole career to good in 2021. He wasn’t as good last season. I like Lenny. If he were to replace Murray in the lineup, I’d be excited to see what he can do. I just think they’d prefer to have the better pass blocker. And Murray is that
  20. Yeah it definitely is as dolphiny as it gets. I agree 💯. It’s a thing- ain’t no doubt. we just have to win and forever we were ever in this ridiculous position to begin with
  21. Sorry to upset some folks, but this is as Billsy as it gets. 2 seed or out of the playoffs. All because we lost to some bad bad teams
  22. I think some may not like the Cam throwing comp, I don’t really like it either, but he’s definitely closer to Cam than Brady. Seems like the reads just don’t come as easy for him. If he were to process more effectively, I think he’d be more accurate. Might not make sense to some, but it makes sense to me. that said- that’s my guy and I wouldn’t want any other QB. Not due to QB prowess, rather who he is as a man while also being a super hero.) Back on topic- Josh is missing a combination of too many throws and too many reads. The misses have been a big part of our offensive issues. We need an OC that can help Josh limit those misses. Dorsey wasn’t able to. Brady hasn’t been able to yet, but he hasn’t had nearly as much time to prove himself. If our offense continues on the same path for the rest of the year, we should probably move on from him. Murray is a superior blocker AND is a good leader. That’s why he’s on the roster. He’s been lackluster running the ball the 2nd half of the year, but that’s not his only purpose. Fournette has blocking potential and sometimes executes well as a PB but he’s not nearly as good as Murray. Just because I he’s massive doesn’t mean he’s a good blocker. He’s not
  23. I agree. He’s not the same passer that we was in 2020/21. That’s obvious.
