I’m usually super excited at this time Saturday before a Sunday morning game. This injury has put a gloom on my day. Such a special kid that deserves to be a key component in a special championship season. I’m sad that he won’t be able to experience that this season. Let’s hope this is the last big injury.

He really is. I like some of his takes, but most seem to be application material for his application for membership to sadness brigade. Doom. Gloom. We can’t have nice things because….

All pro- team captain- culture leader- 1/2 of one of the best safety tandems in the league- those guys don’t get cut all the time because they don’t exist all the time. If he recovers well from his injury and can return to a similar level of play, I’ll be shocked if he’s cut. He’s more than just a starting safety and this team and it’s culture is built on players that are more than just players. He’s a building block of this teams culture

Agree to disagree- the safeties are the ones that keep the opponents out of the end zone in this defense (even with this DL) Not corners. I hope so. We’ll find out tomorrow!

In most cases I agree. I disagree in this scheme with this team. Our safety tandem was the reason our defense was ranked #1 in the league last season.

I agree—— as long as the injuries don’t continue to mount. Poyer & Hyde are one of the best safety combos in league history and play an important part of keeping opposing offenses from going over the top. They compliment each other so well. Hopefully Johnson’s experience in the scheme will lead to similar results. you’re right, this years team is all about the DL- as long as they can stay healthy (for the playoffs) I like our chances. We have an all time type team here, losing one of our leaders hurts, but it’s not the end. No more season ending injuries. Please god.

Yeah I agree with the Lb overload- I really like what Bryant brings- considering our emphasis on the DL setting the tone for our entire defense, I would hope we don’t let him slip away.

Yeah, he’s been amazing- I just left him off because he will likely be playing the 1T- if I’m the fins, I’d be doubling him over everyone else inside. He’s been just what this team has needed. Eager to see how the DL does against a better OL- rams and titans are both poor

I have a feeling this will be Brandon Bryant’s last game as a Bill unless we add him permanently.

Mix of Settle, Rousseau, Basham, Bryant and brewer would be my guess
