  1. Yeah- the current options to compete with Gabe aren’t looking to good. Johnston and Addison are the only options that would excite me. Flowers and the rest of the WRs capable of playing outside would probably get beat out by Gabe. the FA WRs- theilen…. I love his hands so I don’t hate the thought….but I really do hate the thought. juju- can’t stand this dude. He’s an upgrade over gabe 💯- but I’d rather spend the money elsewhere. lazard- no thanks- I don’t want to pay him what others are going to pay him. slayton- meh- better get someone better than him. He’s ok. Just ok. chark- could be a threat but I don’t know how involved he would be. Hardman- I’d prefer a non midget- I’m hoping for more. marvin jones- I think he’s the guy we’re going to sign (along with drafting a WR top 2 rounds). I love the size and catch radius- could be a good value- I wouldn’t want to pay him more than 3-4M max -
  2. I see a lot of talk about moving Milano to Edmunds spot and I don’t get it. Milano is an All Pro on the outside doing what they ask him to do. Asking him to do what Edmunds did is entirely different. I think the sound of it makes sense- I’m just not sure it’s a good idea to change what Milano does for our defense.
  3. I’m not saying I want him. I’m just saying that he fits just fine. I think we should allocate the the money we’d have to pay him and the draft picks to trade for him into the OL and WR. But if we traded for him, I’d be excited to watch him play for us while we try and win super bowls. While be subject to the whining and crying of the sadness brigade: “Beane didn’t do what I want!”, “Cancel Beane now”!!! He’s a great player and would definitely be a great asset for our offense. Especially if Dorsey could find a way to use cook and ekeler in the lineup at the same time.
  4. I think this is the best bet too. Or roll the dice on another RB in rd 5-6-7 edit- ekeler is the kind of back they hope Cook can be. Ekeler was a top 3 back last season running behind a poor OL with a terrible OC
  5. Yeah- the only problem would be our QB (and OC) getting him the ball in the pass game. if we can’t- he’s not worth the $ or trading of a pick
  6. This would be such a huge get
  7. RB1- He’ll catch passes. He’ll get first downs. He’ll score TDs. He’s a good short yardage back. He’s a bad man. James Cook will be his backup and hopefully play some slot-wing. Hopefully taking some of Mckenzies plays. Hines- returner - gadgets- RB3 he fits just fine….. minus the salary
  8. It really is. people whining about rumors…. you can’t make this stuff up
  9. It’s ok man. You don’t care what other think of you.
  10. Dude is smokin crack- sanders is the exact guy we don’t need, due to price (not talent). Not that I’m advocating trading for ekeler (I’m not)….but I’d rather give up a 4th rd pick and pay ekeler than to pay sanders. If we’re going to pay a RB big money, he better be a super star.
  11. They don’t need a main guy. It’ll be perfect for him. I think this is a great move (without seeing financials).
  12. Can we close this thread please? Every time I see the thread title, I throw up in my mouth. It’s kinda gross. He’s on the team. We know this. There really isn’t anything to discuss regarding Cam Lewis. We all hope he never has to play another down for the Bills.
  13. The tweet says that they’ve moved on from cook. Definitely not trading for cook
  14. 28 in may- I don’t see this happening, but if it did- he’d a helluva weapon. Not ideal, but he’s a weapon and great in the red zone It doesn’t end. If all things work out according- we’ll have one season in which we’re pretty much f***** cap wise. While being a contender for a decade. it’s just how things are now. If you aren’t kicking money down the road, you aren’t winning a SB
  15. It was an absolute given that this was happening- and will continue throughout his entire career
  16. “But this is the level of player the bills can afford now.” No, it isn’t. We will sign player above the minimum. Likely 2-3 of them. More money can and likely will be freed up.
  17. I promise they’ll sign more than just minimum salary players. Stop your whining
  18. It’s been 25 hours. But you be you
  19. At least we have a backup MLB now. Glad he’s back. Not great, but it makes sense as long as it’s cheap
  20. So he can be healthy for 5 games, miss 5 games due to injury and play, but be totally useless due to injury in 7 games. A large man who is always injured
  21. Yeah…..way too early. 24 hours after FA begins? Beasley ended up not signing with anyone and eventually a minimum salary. Poyer and Beasley’s market is and will prove to be much different
  22. Just noticed Miami signed David Long 2-11M……. RAWR!!! That’s a helluva good deal for Miami.
