He should be. All these years and can’t beat out friggin Cam Lewis? Sheesh

Yeah…I don’t really want Bijan either, I just think he would be the best player on the board by far. I wouldn’t take him over the top 3 WRs fwiw. He’s a playmaker with a skill set that we’re missing. Surrounding Josh with guys that can take some pressure off of him is the key. I think he can do that more effectively than a Zay Flowers would. I’d rather have Darnell Wright too…. But I just don’t think Beane sees RT as the hole that most of us do.

WR- I don’t think the top 3 WRs will be available (addison, Johnston, jsn). If one is, they should be the pick. Is Zay Flowers worth 27? I think that’ll be the biggest question. I’m torn….but I’d rather trade down. MLB- Campbell and Simpson both solid prospects- I don’t think either worth 27 in most drafts and I’d prefer not to draft a MLB rd 1- sample is intriguing based on physicals- but playing MLB in our scheme doesn’t seem like a fit. I’d rather trade down. OT- The more I watch and read, the more I think Darnell Wright is the best pick- but I don’t think we’re going to pick a RT @ 27. They love and believe in Spencer Brown. I think they’ll bring in someone to be the swing tackle. That guy will compete with Brown for RT1 but will likely be the backup and we’ll be stuck with Brown @ RT. Ugh. But thinking positively, I’d be ok with wright, Jones, Jones and harrison- ideal would be to trade down and get one of them. Pass rusher- we could use one- Von Miller would be the ideal guy to mentor Nolan smith. He has all the athleticism- just needs to work on pass rush moves. Von can teach him. If he’s the pick, so be it. I think he can be special with the right cultivation. Those that throw up in their mouths thinking about drafting a pass rusher in rd 1- I threw up in my mouth a bit too, but I do like the player, but we’re probably better served going O and taking a pass rusher later on- the draft has a bunch of project pass rushers that can be coached up. RB- if bijan is there, I’d take him. He’s the best player and has a skill set that we need. He won’t be and that’s probably a good thing. Could’ve used him last year

I’d trade a 6th for Jerry Hughes!

Pull yourself out of the deep dark hole. The world is passing you by. Poyer was having a great start to the season prior to the injuries mourning. He looked and played like prime Po. He’s never been a burner We won every season game in which he played. We lost every game he didn’t play. He means a lot to this defense

With that statement, you’re saying that trading for Jeudy = the bills won’t win a Super Bowl and that just ridiculous. Can’t get more ridiculous A WR that had exactly who throwing to him his first 2 years? Oh yeah. a WR that played in a broken offense with the worst HC in history year 3? Oh ueah I’m not saying he’s a super star. Just that if you’re judging him based on his first 3 years, the overall situation should be brought up. It’s not like he had Josh Allen throwing to him.

I doubt he gets 5-6M per. I think his floor starts @8M per and the reason he’s still available is he’s hoping to get 11-13M (-ne won’t have any luck). He’s 29- it’s his last chance to cash in as he’ll likely regress some wherever he goes. Playing in between Kelce and Johnson has its advantages. -
Mmhmmmmm- I was going to GIF it too- but was warned I shouldn’t post so many GIFS- they are distracting to many members 🤷🏻♂️ So I cut back here and there. Thanks for adding the visuals. Love that gif

I find it hard to believe some people want to pay OBj 2-30. I think he deserves a 1-10 max

this isn’t true. See Stefon Diggs. the goal of a 1st rd draft pick is to get a great player that can help you win. Getting a potentially great player on a rookie deal is the greatest benefit of using the 1st rd pick on a player. but if the players on the board all have big question marks, a team looking for a great player, might be better served using it in a trade. you can’t say that the goal of a 1st rd pick is the 5 year contract. It’s not a goal, it’s part of the package that exists- you get 5 years with every 1st rd pick unless you trade it. I wonder how the chiefs are feeling about using that #1 pick on Orlando Brown. They needed a starting LT. They used a 1st on brown and won a Super Bowl. 2 years….who cares? Hardware. don’t forget the best franchise in the league…..trading a first round pick for Frank Clark- needed a pass rusher- got one! Got 2 pieces of Hardware. I wonder how the rams feel about trading forst round picks for Ramsey- got him for 3.5 years- Hardware. just have to trade for the right guy, hope they don’t get hurt and hit on some mid round picks to offset the cap hits

I know enough to say awwwwwwewe hell naaaaaw. good athlete- has speed and a decent wingspan (for his height) but he’s more of an athletes than LB. Def not an option @ 27. more like 127, but he looks like a rd 4 guy to me.

Lol….. I didn’t say Allen was the problem…. sheesh
-
That was my initial response to the thread. The post that you quoted was in response to the above post and I was talking about why I think so many Bills fans think Josh Is better than Mahomes (and Rodgers) Because most of us wouldn’t trade Allen for either one
-
Yeah, they took a the value approach- although 5M is more than some would’ve liked. I love the move- I also see it as a gamble, but not necessarily a lottery. Much better odds of winning than a lottery. Agreed. Keeping him healthy and Dorsey drawing up the blueprints are the only obstacles to this being a very solid acquisition
-
I’m talking about Josh Allen…..
-
If i’m going to give up 27 for Jeudy I’d like to get a mid round pick in return. but if we pulled the trigger on 27 for jeudy straight up, I’d be happy about it.
-
He’s just the guy that most of us would rather have over any other QB. And in our eyes. That’s good enough to make him the best. Outside of our fan base- the thought should be laughed at, especially now that Mahomes has two titles. He’s had some big time luck in his side while Josh has had very little. But no one cares about that. Hardware or bust.

The main reason I think/hope that our WR3 is already on the team: i really prefer that we draft an outside WR in rd 1-3 as opposed to a slot guy. But if JSN falls to us, I’d be very happy with him and being our starting slot. Then we could use Harty more on the outside.
-
Right now, i think Harty is our best WR3, but I think that he’ll be on a snap count + he’ll be taking some snaps on the outside as well. Between his snap count, inability blocking and also playing some on the outside, I think shakir will play the most snaps in the slot (based the the current roster). I think Harty will play a bigger role in the offense. I really like both players- considering what we paid for the 2 of them, I think we got good value. agree about WR and OL being top needs- along with the obvious hole at mlb- if addison, jsn or Johnston don’t fall to us, I hope we can trade down and get a tackle, WR, MLB and TE/IOL in the first 3 rounds. Maybe a DL, RB, S and another WR in there somewhere Yes Scott, we all know. We see you post it 25 times a day
