I’m just not a believer in their back 7. I don’t trust their corners or LBers. I think they’ll get exposed when push comes to shove. I think they’re really going to miss Jamal Williams in their locker room and their backfield. Gibbs is the truth. I thought he was a top 15 player in this draft, but I don’t understand signing Montgomery to that big deal when they could’ve had Williams for cheaper. Their OL is so solid, I think they invested too much at RB with a question CB room 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think the lions are good and could win the nfc, but I don’t see how others view them as the favorite considering their offseason. I don’t think it was THAT good to be better than the eagle or niners. Maybe equal to the cowboys imo.

Everyone knows that you use your left to mimic what a woman (or man) would do. Sheeesh They have no clue. He’s obviously this years version of Tavon Austin!

He was a strict press man corner in college. Played little zone. He was basically learning a different position and play style while playing behind a vet and equal to another rookie corner that had only played zone. I understand why he didn’t play full time last season based on those facts alone. This year is a different story. I really hope he can get acclimated by the playoffs and be our starter going forward. I like Benford and Jackson—— but their lack of speed could be a detriment to our D- especially in our division

Just because we haven’t had success in the past doesn’t mean we can’t work on it and improve. More reason to work on them and improve. Having zero screen game makes things easier on opposing DCs.

He played the run pretty well Vs the titans last season. But I agree- as a run defender, he often loses his assignment trying to get upfield. That said- I’m hoping that as he’s aged, he’s become a smarter DT and realizes his worth playing his fit correctly. 🙏🏻

Yeah- there’s no chance AJE gets cut. He’s decent depth and will have a spot in this league as a rotational DE for the next few years imo. Basham seems worthless on this team imo. His only value is as an interior rusher on passing situations- and our IDL is stacked. I’m praying Beane can get something for him. I’d take a 7th

Until then, all we have to go off of is history. And his history sucks

Going into OTA’s I thought Spencer Browns health and Bernard’s body would be instrumental in regards to the 2023 season. Too small. Too weak. Won’t be able to hold up in the middle with the 225 Milano at the SAM.b or will he? A year and 4 months is enough time to change your body, yet he seems to be around the same size/stature. Lacks size and definition compared to his peers. Can he take on blocks or will he just get flattened. He can’t run around every block. I’m assuming that he was selected due in part to his dedication and character. I’d like to see that dedication show itself in terms of his body. Maybe it has but we can’t see it under the uniform….. but color me skeptical in thinking he’s added enough strength to succeed as our starter in the middle. Time will tell though
