Can’t suck blood from a stone Gb.
-
Then have fun with the same WR unit as last year. Flowers will likely be gone. Johnston will likely be gone. JSN will definitely be gone. The other guys have very little chance of playing over the the guys we have. Addison does. He does it all- except weigh a lot.

Next time you get some valuable information, you should withhold the details and just PM them to me so the opposition won’t be privy to it 😉 For 1.7M- I bet they are….. but not more, which essentially eliminates us for consideration.

I think Kincaid to the chargers is the perfect fit and will unlock the entire offense and will help Herbert reach elite status this season. I think Williams and Palmer are good enough feel threat to take the top off. Not due to speed, but rather size, body control and contested catch ability. I put the majority of the blame and lack of downfield passes on the fired OC Joe Lombardi and the injury to Rashawn Slater and the OL. They could use another speed guy, but in this draft- I think Kincaid moves the needle a bit more than anyone. JSN makes a lot of sense as Allens successor, but I doubt he’s there.

With the 5th pick, the Seattle Seahawks select, Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia We thought about Anderson. We even contemplated Skoronski, but eventually decided that carters upside is well worth the risk even with the red flags. We have huge holes on the DL and Anderson isn’t a huge upside guy, but rather a very safe pick in our opinion. We also feel good about Nwosu and Taylor on the outside. Skoronski would be a guard for us, so that effectively eliminated him from the equation. @NeverOutNick and the lions are on the clock.

Kincaid all day.

I have no problem with him wanting someone else. I hated him at one point but I think he’s proven to be a sound LB and a great backup. I didn’t think we missed much when he was filling in. like you alluded too, it’s all about the price tag and I’m confidant it won’t be very much. We’ll have to wait and see what these other FA eventually sign for to see if we could’ve afforded better

I hadn’t read through the pages prior to now. He did reply. He thinks he sucks and would prefer someone else
-
@Yantha why the puke emoji?
-
He was probably hoping to make a little more money imo- he’s as solid a backup LB as there is imo. Worth slightly above the minimum imo
-
Agreed. If it wasn’t sarcasm, it missed the mark. AJ is a much better LB than Barkley is QB. He can get the job done

All we can do is 🙏🏻
-
Amen- and we’ll have to spend a first rd pick in order to watch this unfold

https://kevingeeksout.com/thiskevin/the-duke-of-doubt-and-mascot-nemeses/ the comments seem to give more perspective as well. Pretty funny and spot on comparison. I was around for him but don’t remember. I was born in 74.
-
No, but I’m about to look into it lol
-
Oh I know. Top 5 worst trolls I can remember in 20 years. Can’t take him seriously in the least.
-
lol, thankfully, I must’ve missed his rant on the subject. I figured he’d be happy that we would possibly fill MLB without spending our 1st or 2nd rd pick on the position.
-
Agreed. If Brown is terrible and we come up short, it could cost Beane his job. It won’t…. But it should be considered. I’m really hoping that we’re the idiots and Brown will be much improved . All signs point to Brown, Doyle and Quess being our only options. 😢

I’d be ok with it if our 1st 2 picks were Washington and Bergeron. Giving Josh more protection. While I don’t think Washington is a great receiving threat- I think he’s an amazing red zone chess piece- and we need that. He might be niche and a luxury, but if there’s a draft where you want to roll the dice on that, this is the one. He’d be valuable in the run game, pass game and in the red zone. He’s a matchup problem that can create a lot of confusion. that said- I understand why people wouldn’t want him. He’s not in my top 5 of hopefully picks, but I think he can be an asset

Lions, seattle, philly, pitts, chargers

I hear ya. I’m not usually one to make guarantees as anything can happen, but I just don’t think it’s possible for Wright to fall to us considering the competition to be selected
-
I’m good. I can’t help but try and make some money off of other people’s convictions. the weak class is compounded by the fact that the other tackle prospects are mostly also right tackles. If there were some 2nd round prospects that were LTs OT could push wright out. But I don’t see any except, maybe Bergeron. And he’s probably much better at RT or OG as well. I think he goes early to mid 2nd based on the class

There really isn’t another way to respond. Posting links and scouting reports doesn’t prove anything. The scouting reports don’t take into consideration the other talent competing for the 27 spots. I’m not going to waste my time on a back and forth about a topic that can only be proven on draft day. It’s an opportunity to make some money. it’s a weak draft and the league is really lacking in offensive line play, probably more than any other unit. I can’t see a way that he lasts til 27 when compared to the other talent on the board.

Sounds good- put your money where your mouth is. My $100 to your $75 that Wright is gone by 27.
