  1. Way to go NFL. The most watched game of opening week to be officiated by the crew that throws More flags than anyone
  2. I think this is the best team we’ve had to date.
  3. 4). The nfl gods didn’t rule in our favor. Injuries and random bs that tends to avoid the SB champion.
  4. Chandler jones and Richard Seymour were great. Nick Bosa is different. If they trade him, they won’t be SB contenders. They have some nice players on D, but don’t get it twisted. He IS their their chance to win a SB
  5. No, that’s not my argument at all. You put words into my mouth. I never said NFL PERFORMANCE. There is where you misinterpreted me. Or that is where I should have been more specific. Either way…. That is NOT my point No offense. I have nothing but respect for you, but I feel that you’re seeing red in this case and it’s distorting your vision
  6. Yeah I know, I’m just having fun showering my boy with 💕
  7. Considering the choices- roll with the team captain. I’m in the same boat- not sure which way to roll. I've narrowed it down to: Poyer- red- I wore it every game last year minus the opener, in which I wore Allen. Kincaid- blue- already my favorite player. He’s the leading choice atm Diggs- black- unlikely due to the color Allen- blue- It feels like a dime a dozen Milano- red- I initially thought this would be my go to jersey this season as I thought Poyer would sign elsewhere. Then we drafted Kincaid.
  8. No. We just need him to throw the ball to Dalton Kincaid. Let Dalton be amazing and carry the team. Then they’ll stop bracketing Diggs and it’ll his time to shine. This is the way
  9. And that’s fine….they can feel however they want. Just as people can disagree with the thought that Bernard is not “slightly smaller” than Roquon Smith and not be dismissed as amusing. In MIKE size, 14 LBs is not slightly smaller.
  10. Sorry, when I say “we” I mean each individual person can only discuss what they have seen to date. Whether it be play on the field, in scouting reports, analysis from others etc. I’m not saying anyone’s opinion is incorrect. Where did I say that? If you disagree, please point out where I’ve said that. I’m just giving my opinion and stating that the only thing we can discuss is what we’ve seen to date…. The guy I quoted is dismissing everyone that disagrees with him as “amusing”…… I’m telling him that they are just expressing what they’ve seen to date…..and are entitled to that opinion. either your misunderstanding my point or you’ve gone off the deep end 🤷🏻‍♂️ I think you’re simply misunderstanding. While we may disagree about the player, we are actually on the same side of this. Neither of us think others opinions should be dismissed. I repeat- Bernard could be adequate. I’m not saying he ISN’T. I’m saying from what I’ve seen…..I don’t think he’ll be adequate. And I’m saying that YOU (and everyone else) SHOULD BE DISCUSSING WHAT YOU’VE SEEN TO DATE too. I’m dismissing NOTHING. If the what you’ve seen to date leads you to believe he’s the answer, you SHOULD DISCUSS IT. Not sure how else to explain this but I’m done with it. If you don’t understand my point yet, 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. Also to my point- our dialog started with these quotes because 2 people disagreed with his opinion- he found it amusing that other disagreed with his opinion- guilty of dismissing other opinions as amusing. Something that you thought I was doing to you
  12. I didn’t read your previous post, but I think we’re looking at this from different angles. My post was based on this quote “The key point here is we don't know anything until Bernard's snap count is large enough to make a rational evaluation. Too many here seem to have prejudged Bernard before he's had any significant playing time.” So what does this mean? We can’t express our current thoughts on the player because we don’t have a large enough sample size? It’s a message board in 2023. People have opinions and like to share them. To date….what I’VE seen from Bernard, has been underwhelming and doesn’t lead me to believe that he’s going to be a satisfactory starting Mike. I didn’t mean to dismiss your opinion or anyone else’s. All I can discuss is what I’ve seen to date. If I haven’t seen it, I don’t know about it, so I can’t discuss it. Maybe you’re interpreting what I’m saying in a different light or maybe I didn’t word it correctly? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but I definitely don’t feel that what I said is wrong. I’m allowed to have an opinion of a player before he’s played enough snaps to make a rational evaluation. I’m sure everyone here has been guilty of that. As if it’s a terrible thing. Sheeesh its not as if I’m making a declaration that Terrel Bernard is 💯 too small and weak to play the Mike. From what I’ve seen….I fear that may be the case. Just like I feared Matt Barkleys arm was too weak and would prevent him from being a good starter.
  13. So sad. RIP. he earned 11M+ during his career. Unfortunate that he had to still work construction. Nothing against the occupation, but it’s dangerous and can have negative physical ramifications We’ll that would be great news if true
  14. I put some stock into preseason performances. It’s all we can go on at this point. We can’t go on last year….Saffold and Bates won’t be out there. It’s a different OL.
  15. No, the key point here is that this is a message board and this is what we do here prior to the actual game. Discuss bills football. All we can discuss is what we’ve seen to date. What I’VE seen to date is less than what I consider a viable Mike starter in the nfl. until that changes, that’s how I see it. I am actively hoping to be wrong.
  16. I think Pittsburgh has a dominant dl. I was alluding to the preseason game
  17. I thought to myself that he’s acting a bit differently this year. Doesn’t seem as self assured. Almost as if being the DC and calling plays while also being the HC is more difficult that he anticipated. I feel that he’s feeling the gravity of it all. or maybe I’m just clueless and have no clue what I’m talking about. For the DC/playcaller to be unaware of rodgers and HACKetts past is beyond strange
  18. The last time we saw our OL Vs a good DL we committed 4829 penalties is 3 minutes. Or something like that. I’m not saying that our OL is going to get rolled…..but I think Dorsey needs to call himself a great game. Dorsey and OL……. 🙏🏻
  19. I’d rather comment on this post and read other content on the board as opposed to scrolling on Twitter. I’ve probably opened the app and scrolled on it 200 times in my lifetime. edit: but thanks for doing it for me 😉
  20. I said it’s one of the reasons. The main reason being he’s better outside causing having. He played mostly strong side, not weak. But being 222 and a starting mlb isn’t ideal. Hence “one of the reasons”. playing LB isn’t strictly tackling. They have to take on blocks and not get steam rolled. When Bernard puts some of that on tape in the nfl, I’ll be a believer. I’m not saying he won’t be good “solely” because of his size. But it has looked to be a problem during his small sample size in the nfl to date from my eye. I think you might be underestimating the affect strength can have on a LBs success or lack thereof in the nfl. Maybe Bernard is much stronger than he looks. But I think he’s going to get rolled vs the run. Surely hope that I’m wrong. I’m rooting the the kid big time. If he can play and play well, our d will be legit legit
  21. I was just thinking how strange it was that the weekly game thread was only 6 pages on Wednesday and knew the reason why instantly.
  22. I really think the way we played Vs Cinci turned everyone off. It’s the last thing they remember. What was the last thing they remembered the previous season? Josh Allen playing the best QB anyone’s ever seen…… and everyone had us pegged as SB champs. Recency bias in full effect. We’re better on paper but some of the key Players are another year older. According to Vegas, we’re the 3rd best team in the league. I’ll take their word over talking heads looking for clicks. Follow the money. There, you will find the answer.
  23. I’m fully confident in our teams abilities but It’s a beast of a schedule. The end of the season can’t get much tougher. If I had to predict the exact record and my life depended on it, I’d say 10-7 with a WC berth. But fully capable of winning the Super Bowl. What better way for us to win the SB, winning 4 games in a row on the road to take the Lombardi.
  24. Best case would’ve been Elam playing slights out and earning the job, that said I’m happy Benford won the job. I’m eager to see what he can do. I’m worried about him getting beat deep but he’s a demon in the box and as a tackler. I love his demeanor out there. 4.52 isn’t fast but with good technique and instincts can be fast enough to be a good corner. I think we have incredible depth at corner. Eager to see how Torrance and Brown grow together out there, especially in the run game. There’s some good potential there.
