Trump 47, Week One — The Democrats Don’t Know What Hit Them. FTA: “The Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media have so wrapped themselves in delusion that they have not at all grasped that things have changed and are still changing rapidly in this country. They’re clinging to their old ‘Everybody Hates Trump’ playbook, which only worked for them when they coupled it with a global pandemic and questionable ballot-counting practices in swing states.” https://pjmedia.com/stephen-kruiser/2025/01/27/the-morning-briefing-trump-47-week-one-the-democrats-dont-know-what-hit-them-n4936384 .

Death to DEI: This Is the Real Reason White Lefties Are Panicking Stephen Green What if I told you that the primary beneficiaries of DEI were white progressive women, and the loss of their cushy, bossy, "bulls**t" jobs is the real reason for all the panic? You're already nodding in agreement, aren't you? The selling point for DEI — near as I can tell since lefties would rather accuse critics of racism than defend or sell their policies — is that DEI corrects historical racism, combats systemic racism, and gives businesses a competitive edge. Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins made that last point a few days ago, claiming that "You cannot argue with the fact that a diverse workforce is better. There’s too much business value [in diversity]." It would be cruel of me to point out that over the last five years, shares in Cisco have underperformed the S&P, with an overall return of 42%. The S&P 500 grew 82% in that same period. Some value, eh? True diversity of background, thought, priorities, etc., is essential for keeping a business innovative. But DEI is about enforcing progressive groupthink (secondarily) and an all-new category of iron rice bowls (primarily). So it's fair to conclude that the beneficiaries of DEI aren't the poor downtrodden masses but the HR-on-steroids scolds who run it. And look who they are: More at the link: https://pjmedia.com/vodkapundit/2025/01/27/death-to-dei-this-is-the-real-reason-white-lefties-are-panicking-n4936392 .

Trump's Day One and Beyond Executive Orders / Pardons

Back to common sense. Trump Signs New Pair Of Executive Orders Limiting Taxpayer-Funded Abortions Both At Home And Abroad by John Oyewale President Donald Trump revoked former President Joe Biden’s orders expanding abortion access and ordered that the federal government and U.S. taxpayers no longer fund abortions at home and abroad Friday. Trump signed an executive order enforcing “the Hyde Amendment and similar laws that prevent Federal funding of elective abortion, reflecting a longstanding consensus that American taxpayers should not be forced to pay for that practice.” By that order, Trump revoked two Biden-era orders protecting expanding access to abortion, accusing the previous administration of disregarding “this established, commonsense policy by embedding forced taxpayer funding of elective abortions in a wide variety of Federal programs.” “It is the policy of the United States, consistent with the Hyde Amendment, to end the forced use of Federal taxpayer dollars to fund or promote elective abortion,” according to Trump’s executive order. Trump signed another executive order revoking Biden’s Presidential Memorandum of 2021 that supported funding abortions abroad, and reinstating the Mexico City Policy — a Reagan-era rule that forbids foreign non-governmental organizations from funding abortions as a condition to receiving U.S. global health aid. Trump had reinstated it in his first term but Biden rescinded Trump’s reinstatement of it. https://dailycaller.com/2025/01/25/donald-trump-executive-orders-hyde-amendment-mexico-city-policy-abortion/ -

The farther that we get away from his time in office, the worse that his presidency will be viewed. He had every chance to help the country and chose to divide us instead. I don't know if there will be an official divorce, but they certainly will live separately from now on. .

THE AIR FORCE SEEMS TO HAVE DECIDED TO USE MALICIOUS COMPLIANCE TO FIGHT TRUMP’S DEI ORDER: This is not new behavior by the military services. Everyone thinks Harry S. Truman desegregated the Armed Forces in 1948. He didn’t. The Army responded to desegregating infantry regiments by putting Black soldiers and officers in the regiment’s third battalions. Black officers assigned below the Mason-Dixon Line found they could not use the Officer’s Club and other off-duty facilities. It took a retired five-star general getting elected president to end this whack-a-mole. He knew the institutions of the military and how they were resisting Truman’s executive order. Integration was not achieved until 1953. This tactic is commonly known as “malicious obedience.” You’re told to do something, and you do it in a way that will cause the most disruption to business processes and create maximum embarrassment for whoever directed it, all the while claiming you were loyally following orders. Unless the parties involved in this stunt were totally brain-dead and oblivious to the political climate, there is no possible reason to pull those videos and then ensure the word gets out. Fortunately, there is an easy solution to this: You need to fire people. The only reason this happened was that people were trying to sabotage Trump’s DEI order or were too stupid to realize the stink their actions would raise. In either scenario, you don’t need people like that working for you. The result helps the resisters get their minds right and teaches the remaining idiots to be more careful. https://redstate.com/streiff/2025/01/26/the-air-force-seems-to-have-decided-to-use-malicious-compliance-to-fight-trumps-dei-order-n2184822 Admiral Byng to the white courtesy phone, please.
