  1. Multi-tasking (see Bill Clinton) Now. Why do you keep falling for it ? .
  2. PPP notes that the Roundy-parrot keeps squawking "arts and sciences". Not one word about NPR News. He certainly did not read the President Trump announcement posted above.
  3. THEY HAVE BEEN A DISASTER … FOR THE LEFT: No Wonder Why the Liberal Media Thinks Trump’s First 100 Days Are a Disaster. By Matt Vespa It’s no mystery why the media is out with their latest psyop about President Donald Trump’s first 100 days. They’re calling it a disaster of historic proportions or something. It’s another moment for the legacy media to debase and humiliate themselves, providing another window for more Americans to flock to alternate information ecosystems. When you boil down why the press is so mad, it’s simple: Trump is doing the opposite of what Biden would have done. It's almost comical. DEI initiatives are toast across federal agencies, the southern border is secure, illegal aliens are being deported, and businesses are investing here. American manufacturing is being rebuilt: MUCH more at the link: https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2025/05/01/theres-a-reason-why-the-liberal-media-says-trumps-first-100-days-are-disastrous-n2656372
  4. Leh-nerd sometimes your open, fair, friendly approach to the PPP lowlifes just doesn't work. You must have noticed how desperate they are getting.
  5. May Is Military Appreciation Month, and There’s Much to Celebrate Catherine Salgado The Department of Defense announced that May is Military Appreciation Month, and thanks to President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, our troops have something to celebrate. From the skyrocketing recruitment to ditching DEI to reinstating those fired over COVID-19 vaccination status, the Trump Department of Defense (DOD) has much to promote in terms of achievements going into Military Appreciation Month. And hopefully, we will continue to see more victories in the future, such as successfully separating “transgender” troops, as Hegseth’s DOD announced it would do before activist courts intervened. Make sure to thank any active duty military and veterans you know this month! They sacrifice so we can live free. I personally would like to thank my parents, my uncles, and my brother who have served or are serving currently in the military. https://pjmedia.com/catherinesalgado/2025/05/01/may-is-military-appreciation-month-and-theres-much-to-celebrate-n4939411#google_vignette Hmmmmm. I wonder why Roundabout didn't start a thread about this, instead of falling for President Trump's latest troll. .

  7. Lefties cooking the books ? Say it aint so. NPR, PBS Raked In Millions More Taxpayer Dollars Than They Indicated On Returns, Report Shows by Ireland Owens National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) both received significantly more taxpayer funding in Fiscal Year 2023 than they had indicated on their tax returns, according to an OpenTheBooks report published Thursday. On a tax return for the fiscal year ending in September 2023, NPR reported that it received just $40,000 from American taxpayers, which came from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CBP), a nonprofit organization that invests in public broadcasting, according to OpenTheBooks’ analysis. That amount made up just 0.04% of the $98.57 million in grants NPR received from “all parties” during that period, according to the report. https://dailycaller.com/2025/05/01/npr-pbs-raked-in-millions-of-tax-dollars/ https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/520907625/202432279349302138/full DOGE Opponents Play at Saving Elmo While NPR, PBS Execs Rake in Taxpayer Cash DOGE has identified the outlets for elimination as Congress works to pass Trump agenda. https://openthebooks.substack.com/p/doge-opponents-play-at-saving-elmo
  8. Donate now. By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered: Section 1. Purpose. National Public Radio (NPR) and the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) receive taxpayer funds through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Unlike in 1967, when the CPB was established, today the media landscape is filled with abundant, diverse, and innovative news options. Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence. At the very least, Americans have the right to expect that if their tax dollars fund public broadcasting at all, they fund only fair, accurate, unbiased, and nonpartisan news coverage. No media outlet has a constitutional right to taxpayer subsidies, and the Government is entitled to determine which categories of activities to subsidize. The CPB's governing statute reflects principles of impartiality: the CPB may not "contribute to or otherwise support any political party." 47 U.S.C. 396(f)(3); see also id. 396(e)(2). The CPB fails to abide by these principles to the extent it subsidizes NPR and PBS. Which viewpoints NPR and PBS promote does not matter. What does matter is that neither entity presents a fair, accurate, or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens. I therefore instruct the CPB Board of Directors (CPB Board) and all executive departments and agencies (agencies) to cease Federal funding for NPR and PBS. Sec. 2. Instructions to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. (a) The CPB Board shall cease direct funding to NPR and PBS, consistent with my Administration's policy to ensure that Federal funding does not support biased and partisan news coverage. The CPB Board shall cancel existing direct funding to the maximum extent allowed by law and shall decline to provide future funding. (b) The CPB Board shall cease indirect funding to NPR and PBS, including by ensuring that licensees and permittees of public radio and television stations, as well as any other recipients of CPB funds, do not use Federal funds for NPR and PBS. To effectuate this directive, the CPB Board shall, before June 30, 2025, revise the 2025 Television Community Service Grants General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria and the 2025 Radio Community Service Grants General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria to prohibit direct or indirect funding of NPR and PBS. To the extent permitted by the 2024 Television Community Service Grants General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria, the 2024 Radio Community Service Grants General Provisions and Eligibility Criteria, and applicable law, the CPB Board shall also prohibit parties subject to these provisions from funding NPR or PBS after the date of this order. In addition, the CPB Board shall take all other necessary steps to minimize or eliminate its indirect funding of NPR and PBS. {snip} DONALD J. 9. So why did they choose that date ? (Hint: Armistice Day) Veterans Day 1954 You never seem to catch on that he does things to rile you up.
  10. Does she kiss her brother with that mouth ?
  11. Democrat Sen. Tim Kaine is now saying that if Garcia isn't brought back to the U.S., America's "slide toward tyranny" will accelerate. Yep, keep it up, Dems -- this is a real good look! I’m no political expert, but it seems investing your dwindling political capital in repatriating an illegal alien gangbanger is not the surefire path to political redemption Democrats are envisioning https://twitchy.com/dougp/2025/05/01/these-people-are-insane-guess-what-sen-tim-kaine-thinks-would-stop-the-slide-toward-tyranny-n2412229
  12. Hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha. Roundy leaps before he looks again.
  13. Uhhh, Who Wants to Tell Her? Jasmine Crockett Asks 'Imagine If Other Countries Sent People Here' We used to have an expression here at Twitchy. 'There's stupid, and then there's AOC stupid.' No offense to Sandy Cortez, who is still lucky if she can find two brain cells to rub together, but we think we might have to amend that expression slightly. 'There's stupid, there's AOC stupid, and then there's Jasmine Crockett stupid.' No matter how low we set the bar for 'Jazzy from the Block,' she always manages to underperform our expectations. She also likes to make it worse by putting on her fake 'ghetto accent' affectation (which isn't fooling anyone about who she really is). Most recently, trying to sound smart about illegal immigration and deportations, Crockett managed to ask quite simply the dumbest rhetorical question we have ever heard. And we've heard Mazie Hirono speak. Watch: https://twitchy.com/grateful-calvin/2025/05/01/who-wants-to-tell-her-jasmine-crockett-asks-imagine-if-other-countries-sent-their-people-here-n2412209
  14. As Democrats continue to defend illegal immigrants, it's helpful to remind everyone exactly who -- and what -- the Democrats are defending. In Texas, Andres Fernandez De La Paz was arrested after allegedly shooting Ediesky Incencio Pineiro at his home in Houston. Pineiro, 34, died of his injuries. The shooting was captured on security cameras. This video might be disturbing for some viewers, so discretion is advised. https://twitchy.com/amy-curtis/2025/05/01/illegal-immigrant-murdered-tx-dad-on-video-n2412207
  15. I mean, you could try NOT being on the taxpayer dole as a job
  16. And the fact that it followed four years of Biden/Harris misadministration.
  17. You could have stopped after your first three words. Meanwhile: A few days ago, the Left was melting down because a two-year-old was 'deported' along with her mother. That wasn't true; mom was deported and opted to take the child with her. The Left said this was done 'with no meaningful process' because that's the narrative. Here are two headlines that prove that, no matter what the Trump administration does, they just can't win with the media: So the solution here, as 'War Games' taught us, is not to play the game. This is what 100% negative media coverage looks like. This right here. Don't forget it. REMINDER: https://twitchy.com/amy-curtis/2025/05/01/timcast-two-headlines-on-deportation-and-kids-n2412216
  18. The post was about the arrival of the freight train, Which the video provided. The squirrel that you posted about the OP doesn't matter in the slightest, other than to those who strongly need to downplay the recent recovery efforts. .
