The man is facing a potential court-martial over this shoddy stunt, but Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) opted to continue digging his own grave on the Sunday morning talk shows yesterday. Democrats have nowhere to go, so they’ve manufactured this crisis where President Trump has issued illegal orders. To clarify a crucial point here: President Trump has not done that. Just a friendly reminder that the US kill chain for engaging military targets includes find, fix, track, target, engage, and assess (or detect, track, identify, plan/assess, engage, assess for naval operations). Yes, all of those gates must be completed and verified sufficiently, and generally go in front of two to four commanders, before an engagement is cleared hot. So, next time you hear some journalist or whiny politician claiming unlawful orders this or that, just understand they are claiming (without evidence) that multiple officers within the kill chain are committing war crimes, not just the President or the SECWAR (even though they frame it to sow distrust in all levels of the military). This is why you cannot believe a word these people say, especially when their articles are full of “sources close to the operation” or “sources with knowledge of.”

They're requiring 2 tiny fields on every federal payment: 1. A proper congressional authorization code 2. A comment field that actually says something That's it. And suddenly, hundreds of billions in pure fraud and waste just... stops. Before DOGE, massive payments were flying out the door with both fields completely blank, making real audits literally impossible. And if someone escapes an initial bombing, or burst of fire, or whatever, he is home free and can’t again be targeted? I’d like to see that law. I haven’t seen any news source cite to it. 4) If such a rule exists and applies in the present context, it is stupid. If it applies, and one were determined to follow it, it would incentivize a massive first strike that would eliminate any chance of survivors. And would also increase the risk of collateral, unintended damage. Meanwhile, it appears that the Trump administration may be intent on bringing about regime change in Venezuela. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney Announces New Limits on Foreign Steel and Aluminum, With New 25% Tariff on Steel Derivative Components In short, Prime Minister Mark Carney is conceding defeat to President Trump and positioning the Canadian economy to be compliant with U.S-Mexico trade regulations. However, Carney is not saying that, indeed he cannot; he’s spent over a year telling Canadians that President Trump’s trade and economic demands are not going to be accepted by Canada. However, what he is factually doing is exactly what President Trump has demanded. Prime Minister Carney is saying he is restricting Steel and Aluminum imports from non-free trade agreement countries, and he is lowering the tonnage of Steel and Aluminum that will be permitted for import. His claim is that this approach will help drive up “domestic demand” for Canadian Steel and Aluminum, but that’s ancillary to the real objective. President Trump has demanded Canada stop importing cheap steel and aluminum mostly from China; including manufactured component goods that are made with steel and aluminum (think autos). Canada would not stop, because they could not stop. Their manufacturing base, green energy and climate change economy, is more of a component assembly system now. So, President Trump hit Canada with a 35% tariff, and things got ugly. In June Trump raised the tariff to 50%. The back and forth has gone on all year. Carney now announces restrictions on imported steel and aluminum, as well as restrictions on imported derivative goods that come from steel and aluminum, in combination with a spending plan to bolster the Canadian steel and aluminum manufacturing base.
