  1. How to Respond to Woke Relatives Today When They Bring Up the National Guard Shooting Tim O'Brien As of this morning, the two National Guardsmen who were shot by an Afghan immigrant yesterday remain in critical condition. An alleged radical Islamic terrorist, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, approached the two unsuspecting service members at point-blank range, opened fire on them, and allegedly shouted, “Allahu Akbar!” According to all reports, Lakanwal was let into the U.S. in 2021 under Joe Biden's administration, following Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Lakanwal was wounded and taken to a hospital. There is no word on his condition this morning. Those are the most basic of facts that will likely fuel no small amount of debate at Thanksgiving tables across the country today, at least at those tables where regular Americans share Thanksgiving with their woke relatives and friends. If you’re one of those regular people, and you anticipate a woke relative confronting you today on the National Guard shooting, here are some recommended responses. Keep in mind that your he/she/they relative may come at you any number of ways, but these are the core subject areas and what you can say if you feel so inclined: Continues at https://pjmedia.com/tim-o-brien/2025/11/27/how-to-respond-to-woke-relatives-today-when-they-bring-up-the-national-guard-shooting-n4946477
  2. The Democrats’ “Illegal Orders” Video Isn’t About the Law. It’s About Undermining the Military’s Trust in Trump and the Chain of Command. "But we were just trying to educate the troops." By John A. Lucas These six Democrats claim that their now-infamous video is nothing but an innocent effort to remind the troops that they don’t have to obey illegal orders. Who could object to that? Their story is rotten nonsense. It is an effort to create plausible deniability as a misleading subterfuge. Their slick video production is not an innocent civics lesson for ignorant troops who somehow need additional instruction in military law. It is, in fact, an effort to undermine the President, to encourage disobedience of his orders, to sow chaos in the ranks, and to promote continued lawfare and turmoil in the military, all of which is intended to hamstring this President because they disagree with his policies. The false justification The Democrats claim an innocent – even praiseworthy – motive. They just want to educate or remind the troops of their duty to refuse unlawful orders. Rep. Houlahan, for example, claims that the video was akin to a public service announcement by “reminding our military of their constitutional obligations and reassuring them that, if they are ever given an unlawful order, they do not have to carry it out.” Just carrying out their civic duty as public servants, you see. Despite their claim that the troops need additional instruction from them on the topic, it is a fundamental tenet of U.S. military law that unlawful orders must not be obeyed. The “I was just following orders” defense has been soundly rejected – with fatal results for some who invoked it – from at least the Nuremberg war crimes tribunals. Everybody knows about it. Additional instruction by senators and representatives was not needed. That excuse is a sham, a lie. https://johnalucas6.substack.com/p/the-democrats-illegal-orders-video
  3. Poor timing protest.
  4. Make this a holy table, O God. A table where food, conversation and laughter are shared in abundance; A table where all are fed, body and spirit; A table where we welcome all as they are, not as we wish they would be; A table where the memory of those who are not here is full and alive; A table where old grudges don't seem so important, and old hurts are soothed by mutual affection; A table of joy; A table of gratitude; An experience of your grace. Amen. .
  5. Scott Jennings Can’t Believe His Ears As Democrat Blurts ‘Sedition Six’ Video Was Made to Attack Trump https://twitchy.com/warren-squire/2025/11/26/xochitl-hinojosa-says-the-quiet-part-out-loud-and-scott-jennings-exposes-her-n2422133
  6. More on the Sedition Six. “The six were carefully selected, as was the wording of the message, in an attempt to both add credibility to the message and minimize repercussions from it. If Taibbi is correct, and I do not doubt it, this operation, this setup, involved far more than just the six in the video.” https://pjmedia.com/eric-florack/2025/11/26/more-on-the-sedition-six-n4946419
  7. Gallego Reveals Eye-Opening Info About That 'Illegal Orders' Video By Nick Arama FTA: But that wasn't all Gallego revealed. Turns out he was supposed to be involved in the video, according to what Galllego told CNN's Kasie Hunt. He explained what happened "by the time the script got to me." Yeah, he admitted there was a script. Hunt laughed at him when he said he didn't have time to record it by the time he got it, that life happens, so he couldn't do it, but that he was 100 percent aligned with the video. That is not funny. I'm not sure why Hunt was laughing her head off there. It says a lot about her that she thinks that's funny. And it says a lot about him, and none of it is good, for endorsing the actions in the video. It also raises some other questions. What first video is he talking about? What was in that? Who was actually behind the "illegal orders" video? Who wrote up the script and sent it to people? How many people was this sent to, and who else were they trying to include in this? When we talk about Democrats being theater kids, it's something when they actually admit to having a "script." And Gallego seemingly doesn't even realize what he's saying when he says that. Not the brightest move. Thanks, Ruben, for letting us know. The FBI was reportedly contacting the Capitol Police to schedule interviews with the members of Congress who participated in the infamous video and to determine if there was any wrongdoing. They may want to ask some of those questions I noted above to get to the bottom of this. But please, Democrats, keep talking, tell us more. You just keep making yourselves look worse. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2025/11/25/gallego-reveals-more-information-about-that-concerning-illegal-orders-video-n2196566
  8. What's the old expression? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Six Democrats who made the video encouraging members of the military to refuse "illegal orders" stepped right into that old maxim. The video caused righteous furor and understandable concern about the effect it could have. The six Democrats were Reps. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), Chrissy Houlahan (PA-6), Maggie Goodlander (NH-2), and Jason Crow (CO-6), along with Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ). Kelly alleged without evidence in the video that "this administration" was "pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens." The Department of War announced it would be reviewing allegations of misconduct against Kelly over the clip. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth slammed the video as a "politically-motivated influence operation" and noted they hadn't outlined any specific illegal orders. Kelly was asked about this on MS NOW on Monday, and again, he couldn't list anything. Now, there's more news for the six. {snip} The Democrats have taken their Trump Derangement Syndrome to new heights, and now it's backfiring on them. We've seen it from the Epstein files to this video. Not only could this potentially create confusion in the military, but what must our enemies think when senators and representatives take such actions? They think they're going to smear President Donald Trump, but what they're really doing is raising more questions about their own actions. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2025/11/25/fbi-to-interview-the-six-democrats-who-made-illegal-orders-video-n2196542
  9. Former Rolling Stone Editor Says the Dems’ Illegal Orders Stunt Reminds Him of Another Hoax. Former Rolling Stone editor Matt Taibbi is critical of the conservative movement, but he seems to be mostly fending off attacks from his side of the aisle. Despite being a dyed-in-the-wool liberal—that’s not enough for today’s Democratic base which is unspooled. Taibbi was an original Russian collusion skeptic on the Left, which didn’t earn him much praise from his side, but his writings against the censorship complex, which included Twitter, has mostly been directed at Democrats. Look, the man calls balls and strikes; he’s fair. But in today’s liberal circles, that’s one step removed from full-blown neo-Nazism. That said, Taibbi is not having any of the ‘don’t follow Trump’s illegal orders’ nonsense, calling it another shoddy propaganda ploy by the Democrats that reeks of the Russian collusion hoax It's such blatant, bad, overwrought propaganda ... It reminds me again of the beginning of Russiagate when there were all these leaks about encouraging people not to share intelligence with the United States. That made Trump look bad, but it also made the United States look weak and vulnerable and sent the signal that the country was in schism and maybe the government was not stable. Is that what they're trying to project? I mean, is that right? I don't think so. Oh, and trust me—this whole debacle has been a circus. If you can’t answer a simple question, like which illegal order are you referring to without crumbling, it’s a narrative that’s beyond unseriousness. Also, no one cares because voters know it’s total crap. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2025/11/25/former-rolling-stone-editor-says-the-dems-illegal-orders-stunt-reminds-him-of-another-hoax-n2666870
