You're happy we lost Diggs and a 6th this year to move up to the 2nd next year from the 5th? I get we had to purge salary but feels like too much to me.
I'm not happy with this move either but honestly I can't believe Beane would just make this move without something up his sleeve as I can't imagine his plan is to go into this season with what have now. Granted I'm not a fan of trading up to get a better WR prospect as no guarantee a rookie going to step in as a WR1 no matter who he is.
It feels like Sammy Watkins all over again. As we moved SJ13 that off-season and added Watkins and Mike Williams. Needless to say it took for us to trade for Diggs before we ever got a WR1 back.
Which a angers me we couldn't get Dell or at very least Brown in return. I don't losing Diggs but with nobody on the active roster to replace him perturbs me.
Bills receive 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota.
Texans receive Stefon Diggs and a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick. https://t.co/WlL4mAaavz

Feels like we gave up too much, Diggs and the picks? Seriously I would think if giving up picks we'd also look to get a player back.
Tua hasn't gotten an extension yet and nor has than been whispers he's working on one. Joe Klatt mentioned in one of his mocks that Penix could give them the deep thrower they need and could be their 1st Rounder in April.
McDermott referenced in when brought up different player body types etc. The biggest change to me is return men have to be better at avoiding contact vs pure speed. So you might see more backup RBs returning kicks now.
Considering that the two backups only signed one year deals I don't see how limits us drafting a quality DT in the early part of the draft since need to find a long term answer to replace DaQuan who likely on his last contract for the next two seasons.
