When draftniks say these DTs are available in Round 2 it doesn't necessarily mean late Round 2 where we draft. That's why I take a guy like Tyleik Williams at pick 30 that on average grades as the 38th best guy in the draft per https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Tyleik-Williams-DT-OhioState. As to me he fits a serious need and to me the ranking between 25-40 (87.4 vs 87.0) is usually minuscule when talking about BPA. Sure other DTs might fall to us at the end of Round 2 but IMO few of them fit in as run blocking NT/1 Tech that we are looking for. Again trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Not wisest of things to do IMO.

Jordan Burch, with AJE and Bosa not under contract after this coming season we could have a serious hole at DE after this season with Groot and Soloman the only guys under contract. Burch looks the part and at very least is good depth in 2025 and maybe competes with Soloman to start in 2026.

I think it's more Simmons wants to beat the Chiefs and sees the Bills of one of the few teams in the league that can do it. As we've seen it in the regular season and been pretty close in last few post seasons and might be a play(er) or two away from doing it. I'm all for bringing him on a cap friendly deal less than $3 million a season.

I can't see Tyleik Williams falling to past pick 45 in this draft. To me he's amongst the top 5 DTs in the draft and arguably the best run stuffer of the class. It's why am pounding the table to take him in Round 1 as the kid hasn't reached his full potential.

R Brown was an OG, if looking for another OT then gotta include Wil Wolford, I disagree on Smerlas as think Ted Washington was much better, the only reason I'd favor Freddy is he spent more time here. Toss in Washingtom had 34/43 versatility. And sorry not sorry but Allen should start over Kelly. I've never been a big Kelly fan to begin with but he was never a top 2 NFL QB in any part of his Bills career where Josh has been that the last 4-5 seasons.
