  1. I guess we'll have to wait til June or maybe convince the Bengals to unfranchise Higgins, sign him to a one year deal on the cheap and then trade him to us.
  2. The Giants could also use some help at TE if Waller retires which been rumored. I'm not saying we could get Knox and #28 for #6 but it's an interesting thought. Personally I wouldn't make the trade.
  3. Let the draft playout, I'd prefer to keep most of our picks or if trade up do so in later rounds vs early because we need more than just a WR to come out of this draft. I'd also like a possible Edge rusher, a DT and a Safety and maybe not this order. Then after June 1st when we get our Tre White money back see if any veterans are available for a picks in 2025 (see Higgins or Ayiuk). The top 2 WRs taken in the 2023 draft were Quinton Johnston and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, guess what? they got out performed by guys taken after them in Jordan Addison and Zay Flowers, aka just because you draft a guy earlier doesn't necessarily make them better. Toss in think it safe to assume that Aiyuk would likely out perform a rookie.
  4. Not left, got cut. Gilmore won a Super Bowl with the Patriots and won AP CB of the year if I'm not mistaken.
  5. Peters hurt as was all about money and our owner was too cheap to pay him the going rate for an above average LT.
  6. You're happy we lost Diggs and a 6th this year to move up to the 2nd next year from the 5th? I get we had to purge salary but feels like too much to me.
  7. Toss in there were mumbles that Stef asked about living in Houston, sounds like he gave us a short list of teams he'd go to and we abliged.
  8. AD Mitchell, he outperformed Worthy in his first year with Texas and has size/speed blend to be very good #1 NFL WR.
  9. Another upside is we don't have to hear his brother wants Stef out of Buffalo.
  10. Quick typing and not editing is my fault for the extra s lol
  11. I think Aiyuk cost at least two 2nd Rounders if not more, toss in the new contract he will likely want once moved here.
  12. Aiyuk be ideal but then gotta give him a new contract which not in cards for at least this year.
  13. I'm not happy with this move either but honestly I can't believe Beane would just make this move without something up his sleeve as I can't imagine his plan is to go into this season with what have now. Granted I'm not a fan of trading up to get a better WR prospect as no guarantee a rookie going to step in as a WR1 no matter who he is.
  14. It feels like Sammy Watkins all over again. As we moved SJ13 that off-season and added Watkins and Mike Williams. Needless to say it took for us to trade for Diggs before we ever got a WR1 back.
  15. I think Cooks and Kincaid are above average. Diggs isn't elite at least last we saw him he wasn't.
  16. I'd rather have Michael Thomas than Odell but honestly both are probably better as #3 WRs at this point in their careers.
  17. Which a angers me we couldn't get Dell or at very least Brown in return. I don't losing Diggs but with nobody on the active roster to replace him perturbs me.
  18. Not at pick #28 and unsure what it take to get in top 10 which to me too much.
  19. and giving up a pick this year and next year. Bad trade IMO unless we have an plan in place to replace him with someone younger (see Higgins)
  20. Bills receive 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota. Texans receive Stefon Diggs and a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick. https://t.co/WlL4mAaavz https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/texans-trade-for-bills-star-stefon-diggs Feels like we gave up too much, Diggs and the picks? Seriously I would think if giving up picks we'd also look to get a player back.
