The jets just did force the colts hand with "all that wasted draft capital". They obviously, like me, believe there are three "turn key" franchise QBs in this draft. You don't give up that capitol without a 100% chance that you're gonna get one of your guys. 1.)Baker Mayfield 2.)Josh Rosen 3.)Sam Darnold Ready to throw in Round 1 for next year to get to pick #2. All in on our Franchise QB or go after Lamar Jackson at 8 or 9....because he is the most exciting player I have ever seen
-
Whatever it takes if he makes it past the jets. Its not an easy process to acquire this draft capitol and it will only get harder to get as we continue to win and players become staples of this franchise. Now or never

Bills Have a Standing Offer for LB Preston Brown
buffalover4life replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4 might be a bit low, but I don't think they value him as a unquestioned starter, this team wants to upgrade the position, Mcdermott wants to find his Luke. Preston did not attack the line of scrimmage, plays kinda seemed come to him down the field -
Bills Have a Standing Offer for LB Preston Brown

I want a fresh start from linebacker. It would be a savvy move to trade next years 1st and 2nd picks and hold on to our picks this year. We have a crazy amount of cap next year...will be able add big pieces in free agency. I am a huge fan of the depth of this draft through 2-3 rounds Leighton Vander Esch from boise would be great in round 2 or rashaan evans in round 1 -
Bills traded for Giants second pick? Question
buffalover4life replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you should probably check google before you ask the board. -
The point is to say "short" QBS can play football, and ceilings are not entirely limited by their height, those are all Qbs who have started extended time in the NFL and no one is pointing to their height and saying thats the reason they didn't make it. Three maybe four(dak) of them are franchise QBs.

#1,#2 or #3, all franchise guys. I think the draft will go QB, QB, QB, DE, RB. Baker mayfield is my choice if he is on the board. His fast eyes, anticipation and zip on his ball are the deciding factors. I dont care that he is 6' 1", The man plays Bucket ball out there list of "Short" QBs who did not fail because of their height Aaron Rodgers 6'2" Drew brees 6'0' Dak Prescott 6'2" Russel wilson 5' 11" Case Keenum 6' 1" Brian hoyer 6' 2" Tyrod Taylor 6' 1" Andy Dalton 6' 2" Ryan Fitzpatrick 6'2" Teddy Bridgewater 6' 2"
-
Also add Aaron Rodgers, Dak Prescott, Case Keenum and you have a decent group of guys that are too short to play QB in the NFL, playing QB in the NFL
-
Baker is the Best QB in the draft, Same height as drew Brees, an inch shorter than Aaron Rodgers an inch taller than Russel Wilson. Height is not indicative of a good QB, though I hear it makes it easier to see, If baker was 6' 3" (2 inches taller) he would be a lock for #1. Baker has 5K passer written all over him but maybe he is too short That said, Rosen is the safest pick.

Anxiety over QB Selection
buffalover4life replied to QBorBust2018's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% agree, I think those 3 players are can't miss franchise QBs. Darnold being the one I'm least sold on but everyone swears he is the next Andrew luck so, OK, i guess. If Beane takes him i trust it. Baker is my guy, will be the best QB from this draft -
I will only be good with 3 QBs in this draft at this point, Mayfield, Rosen or Darnold because they are home run, slam dunk Franchise QBs and we have everything we need to go get one. Allen and Lamar Jackson are in a different category of tremendous, generational talent upside players but their floors are out of the league in 5 years(or a WR for another team). And of the two i would prefer Lamar Jackson In beane I trust

He ran the fastest 40 by a LB since 2003. Also, The average of his 40 times are not his play speed. Look at the tape and you see a LB who is FLYING AROUND and getting to the ball FASTer than everyone else. His combine numbers are impressive for any LB and they confirm the athlete that you see on the field. They also confirm hard work, and ability to overcome the adversity and the doubters. Imagine losing a hand at age 4, 99.99% of those people are not pushing for a pro football career. They gave up when they were 12 if they ever started in the first place.
-
People are reacting because he beat the odds. How many people on the planet with one hand can put up 20 reps of 225 and run a 4.38. I want him on our team, he would be an inspirational leader, and it appears that he actually plays at 4.4 speeds and has a knack for turnovers. He forced a lot of fumbles with jabbing his arm at the ball, could it possibly become a competitive advantage?

In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
buffalover4life replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally love Lamar Jackson. He has a live arm and has show the ability to throw with anticipation. He is my #2 QB behind Baker mayfield, who i think is the next Drew Brees. Lamar Jackson is every bit as good, or better than Vick(#1 overall pick) when he came out and I would love to see him as our selection at the 22nd pick if he makes it that far. It seems like the league is getting away from mobile QBs, so he may be available? Jackson is going to Run sub 4.5 and he is 6' 3" with a cannon. Don't try to compare him to Tebow or Taylor, much more comparable to Vick or Newton -
Does anyone have Jordan Poyer All 22?

Thats exactly what I saw when I watched his Browns tape. -

When we signed him I watched a couple of the games that he started, before he got hurt. He was a player that kinda popped off the screen early in games and then faded. There were multiple plays where he would come from deep streak down the field and help with run support, almost like a blitz. I'm not sure if it was by design but seems to me that he is decisive safety that flies to the ball, not sure of his coverage ability because he played in a really bad defense that couldn't get pressure. -
I'd use a top 5 pick on Myles Jack if I had it. Dude has great explosion and speed, which is one of the main reasons he can play on both sides of the ball

FanDuel and DraftKings Banned in NYS
buffalover4life replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I won $1000 on draft kings off a 25 cent game . I watch every possible game of football I can, winning made me feel that it was all worth it. Draft kings allows me to be more vested in every game and helps justify the amount of time I spend following the sport. -
He threw 12 balls completing 11 of them.
