I think if the qb's are taken we take our LB here and then make a trade up from 22 to take Jackson. I like Jackson, think he is much better than Watson, McBean has not stated he wants a pocket passer, he said you need to be able to stand in the pocket and make passes. Jackson has made improvements year after year in passing from the pocket. I for one am in hopes that Jackson is our QB but not at 12. If we don't get Jackson then I am happy with Rudolf at 22.

I did a mock draft where I got him Roquan Smith at 12 and had Choice of Jackson or Allen and Randolf at 22 so maybe !

Even if we get the 5th pick in the draft we will more than likely get the 4th choice in the QB's in the draft. There is no way we will be worse than the Jets, Cleveland, San Francisco. We could have 10 #1's and we will not get ahead of any one of those teams. So Tanking would not help our draft position to get better than the 4th QB on the board.

I think a better plan would be to add two games and a bye week and play Superbowl on Presidents day weekend on Sunday

I wonder what the run average was while under center for the RB was, My gut says t.he offense would benefit as a whole with Tyrod being under center, he has quick feet to get back and step in and so throw, also I think handoff timing is better. QB's when in the shot gun have to step then get into motion.

I think it was the other way around, Rex told Roman to get the TE and middle of the field going and Roman did not call the plays. Tyrod was going over the middle more the last 3rd of season, I assume Lynn started calling more plays to that area.

The way I see the Tyrod benching is : 1) Protection from injury. 2) Evaluation of Back up QB's 3) Less chance to win while trying and improving draft pick. Now Whaley has until March to try and trade for a QB ie Romo (not to fond of but would be upgrade), If San Diego wants to blow it up then Rivers, If Saints want to blow it up then Brees. Only 3 that would interest me over Tyrod if deal is not pulled off you execute Tyrods contract. All of these buy time to draft more QB's and Let Jones Develop. I do not see any other way to still give us a chance to make playoffs and not blow up the team ourselves.

I also thought Gillislee should have been handed the ball more. His straight ahead no cut type of running would be more effective then Macoys.

Well when Harbagh played SB against SF and Romans Offense they stopped them pretty well, and Tyrod having played with Ravens for 4 years Harbagh probably had good insight and a solid plan to make life difficult of Tyrod. Sure looked like he flustered him.
