  1. but but but … his completion percentage is low! BUST!!!!
  2. but do they have rented beach chairs there?
  3. I hear Rex just bought a tricked out Ford F350 painted in aqua green and orange
  4. lolz. great find! but the "Chatter" seems to start and end with Rex.
  5. saw that too. seems like a lot of wishful thinking on his part.
  6. or did they mean Miami of Ohio? Yolo, I believe he is quoting Animal House... if so, great reference!
  7. then you are breaking the rules.
  8. irony is the phrase "football gods" has no actual religious significance, as no one believes there are any "football gods". Yet you have yourself injected actual religious beliefs into the discussion, which is what you say you were trying to avoid.
  9. If Beane doesn't find a way to mess up 10 draft picks and a zillion dollars in FA cap space, 10-6 is more likely.
  10. people forget hes only been an NFL HC for like 5 minutes. He's a solid leader and his game day coaching will improve, especially as he gets better players.
  11. Correct. There is ZERO chance McBeane did not brief the Pegs and get owner buy-in for their plan to tear down and rebuild.
  12. and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids! I expect he will win football games.
  13. good thing theres nothing like that going on now.
  14. to the nattering nabobs of negativity: how is it that through two decades of a miserly owner, over-the-hill, rearward-looking management, castoff coaches with proven loss records coaching other teams, and JV team QBs with no real potential in the NFL, Bills fans consistently "circled the wagons" and found a way to "billieve" in bad teams … but now that we have an owner who puts football before profits, a young, forward-looking management team and coaching staff with a proven track record of getting us into the playoffs after 17 years of other peoples' failure, and a franchise QB who has signs of potentially being one of the greats, all you can repeat like a mantra of self-flagellation is: "woe, destruction, death and decay!" please follow another team.
  15. I think we still get Metcalf at or below #10. Most bad teams need D help. So I don't mind sliding a few spots. Meanwhile legions of clueless fans are ready to revolt because we took a step back to rebuild. We need a win going into the offseason to tamp down the (needless) drama.
  16. May they rest in peace. God bless you and all the good posters.
  17. Yes. Last year they had to prove competence to Pegs and fans and ditch the curse. There was tremendous pressure to get to the playoffs. Also Beane and scouts were not in place for the draft and barely for FA. They could not have had a rebuild plan ready with owner buy-in much before Sep. Last year was NOT the first year of the rebuild.
  18. funny, most of our quarterbacks since Kelly have been criticized for always going to the checkdown. how illuminating. I'm intrigued. Or not.
  19. with our current offensive talent pool, this is winning.
  20. he spent his weekend looking for houses in Green Bay
  21. it only stood because the standard for overturning a field call is high. our receivers need to catch the ball clean.
  22. well I had to get up and find a pencil … and some scrap paper … then I had my wife read it back to me and it wasn't funny the first time …. then it was funny because she still didn't get it
  23. sorry Gugny, he thinks you are an idiot too.
