That was a fun watch.

I commend both of you on the immense amount of work that goes into doing something like this. I’m on record as being a guy who doesn’t really see the point of all of this when it actually means nothing, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the effort. Well done. One thing is for certain — both of your voices immediately give away your locales. 😂

Super fun watch, as I’m also a golf nut and Lefty used to be my favorite (I also swing from the wrong side). But damn, can he just be quiet for 10 seconds?

Interesting. I’d like to hear more. -
LOL — you need better sources than “outkick.com”…

Defense is the weakness of this team, by the way… -
So, it sounds as if you haven’t really been following this at all, since that isn’t how Belichick has been coming across. They recently completed spring practice and it was noted how much sharper everything was run, but how BB seemed to really be having fun and was coaching up kids at all positions (not “military grade” degradation as you suggest). I’ve read your posts on the main forum and your takes are typically bad there as well, so this is not surprising. Still, thanks for sharing!

“Ok but uneven” is what they have been. If that’s all Belichick gets out of them the experiment has failed.

We’re going streaking!!! #frankthetank

Yeah, them Southern racists sure can cook!

This draft prediction is downright barbaric.

Read the post above yours…lol

I hear ya. Really, I do. All I’m saying is that if the conversation went at all like he said it did, it’s a bad look for Glenn and the Jets as well.

Very weird. She is being cc’d on emails to Belichick, and it appears her primary “involvement” is in the area of social media and messaging. Must-see-TV this year IMO..

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)
eball replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is simply a feel-good move all the way around. I don’t think anyone is counting on Tre to be a difference-maker on the field but he knows this defense and is such a great freaking guy that I can’t help but love it. He can be an asset to young guys and perhaps, just perhaps, his injury woes are behind him and he can be a gameday contributor as well. I don’t think Beane is an overly sentimental guy so he and McD must think Tre still has something to offer. I don’t think his signing changes anything about how the Bills address the draft. -
A stroke and age will do that to ya. Still, the guy was a legend on that show and the poster child for loving what you do. It was infectious. He will definitely be missed.

Hey guys — not sure how much interest there is in this topic on this particular forum, but I’m a Tar Heel alum living in Chapel Hill and despite my biases I think this is one of, if not THE, biggest stories of the upcoming CFB season. It’s unprecedented. Belichick and his GM, Michael Lombardi, have made no bones about calling UNC an NFL-prep program. The school has raised its NIL game and I can’t wait to see what happens. I think it has the potential to be a colossal success or spectacular failure. Oh, and the 24–year-old girlfriend makes for great takes also. 😂 Anyway, feel free to comment as the season progresses. I never thought the day would arrive when I would become a Belichick fan…

Great thread title. 😂

Nah. If Glenn really said to Rodgers that he didn’t want to be talking to the team and having players look back at Rodgers…that’s the sign of a new HC who isn’t confident in his own ability to lead. Bottom line — why invite the guy to the facility to do it this way. Just inept. And again — I’m not a Rodgers supporter and think he comes across as an arrogant arse much of the time.
-
IMO the “hating” on Rodgers goes overboard. He’s not your typical star athlete and a lot of people can’t deal with that. He doesn’t do himself any favors with the way he often comes across, but there’s no question he has a lot of friends in the league and is highly regarded.
-
That’s not a hot take, it’s what probably 50% of this board already thinks!!!
-
Yes. Publicly and very easily contested if it didn’t go down that way. If the Jets say nothing, Aaron Glenn comes off looking like a fool.
-
I just listened to the McAfee interview. I’m no Rodgers supporter but if the meeting went down in any way like he said it did, LMAO at the continuing clown show of a Jets organization, even with the new HC and GM. Aaron Glenn and the GM should absolutely have picked Rodgers’ brain about what he thought was good and what he thought needed changing within that culture. There was literally no downside to doing that, and they could do what they want with the information and still tell him they’re moving on. Just a ridiculous team and I think they’ll continue to be a laughing stock.
