I think joint practices give coaches headaches, and they are more helpful when you don’t really know what you have on your team. If there were no preseason games I’d be more in favor of them. I don’t want to see some other team’s 4th string wannabe rolling up on Josh Allen’s ankle because he’s desperate to make the team. Bottom line — this decision will have little to no impact on the Bills’ preparedness for the regular season.

My question was simple. Tell me who has called Herbert possibly the most athletically gifted athlete to play QB in the NFL? I've heard several say it about Josh. I'll expand it a bit: Who says Herbert has a better arm? Who says Herbert is a better runner? Who says Herbert is more competitive? Who says Herbert is a better leader? Don't quote me combine statistics -- show me highlights of Herbert stiff-arming D-linemen to the ground. Lots of guys in the NFL have "similar builds."

But was she fully pregnant? -
The depth on this roster is clearly the best it has been since the 90s. And for those stating there are no known game-changers or superstars — well, duh. If they were already superstars they wouldn’t be depth, they’d be starting. The point is that there is a great mix of serviceable veterans and youth with potential. If we had to trot that team out week after week they’d probably be competitive but not playoff caliber. If we need to use a number of them in spot situations this year we’ll be in very good shape compared to most of the league.

Good review. That was a very frustrating team to follow; they consistently got your hopes up and then dashed them. Rarely have I been more disappointed than after that Raiders game. I’ve occasionally looked back and wondered what might have happened if Saint Doug did not take the money and run. Schwartz likely stays, the D was on a roll, but the offense still needed major fixing. Does the Shady trade happen? Do they still bring in Tyrod? Does Sammie get his head on straight? You know having Rex Ryan around didn’t help matters. They still needed a QB. 2015 and 2016 were low water marks for the franchise but everything happens for a reason. So happy for where we are now.

Yep, always a good move to make fun of fans being fans on a fan message board. You be you, Scott.

Most intriguing Training Camp competition?
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I picked WR6/7, but PR/KR was my second choice and the two are intertwined, I believe. The WR situation interests me…the Bills have, I think, some real tough decisions to make. Will Beasley shut his mouth and, more importantly, make sure he doesn’t bring Covid into the locker room? His insistence on “living his normal life” amid the spawning variants could totally scuttle the Bills’ season. I think both McKenzie and Sanders can play the slot so if Beasley goes I’m not worried. Presuming Beasley behaves himself Diggs, Beasley, Sanders, Davis, McKenzie are locks. I’m rooting for Hodgins because he brings a different skill set to the mix. I’m also rooting for Stevenson because he looks like he could be dynamic. Kumerow seems to hang around. It will be a good camp battle to watch. Edit: I also think the battle for who makes the roster at DE/DL will be very interesting. -
[LAMP??] (Bob) Chandler#81 highlights

Hard to be a Bills fan growing up in the 70s and not be a Bobby Chandler fan. Great stuff, both the highlights and memories in this thread. -

They use location settings on your device to determine where you are and which locals you receive. Does anyone know whether you can “spoof” YouTube TV with a VPN to receive Buffalo channels out of market?

1986 Season highlights. The Kelly/Levy era begins.

These highlights are great, but also hilarious. “Good enough to dream.” One thing stood out in particular — it was open season on QBs. About 75% of the hits I saw on Kelly would be personal fouls today. And %$&#@ Ronnie Harmon. -
McDermott at the American Century Championship

Jack Wagner is 61 and almost won the thing. You're wrong, sorry. Al Michaels just isn't very good at golf, no matter how much he likes it or how much he plays. I bet he shot the same scores 20 years ago. -

Interesting analysis of Josh Allen 2020 season

This year (and the next 10+) is going to be so much fun. Teams fear JA17. There is no doubt about it. -
No worries. I was still snarky with my post so I’m sorry. Anyway, I need to find a college kid.

They said Al Michaels plays golf every day. He just shot a 2nd round 104 to follow up his 1st round 105. In last place by a mile. Oh, and they pick up after a double bogey since that’s the worst score in the Stableford system (-2 pts), so Michaels’ true score was probably even worse. -
It says everything I thought was still in effect — only available to those who can’t get DTV, or college students.
