  1. There is only one position I’m confident the Bills won’t target with the 30th pick in the draft — QB. Anything else (besides ST specialists) is fair game based upon who the BPA is at that point.
  2. Tre White is one of my favorite humans. Couldn’t be happier this is the team I root for.
  3. Says someone who clearly hasn't watched said 34 year old WR play.
  4. I don’t care about the Jets but with respect to QB evaluations, great physical traits aren’t enough. A great work ethic isn’t enough. We’ve seen time and time again that the best QBs in the league are the ones who mentally process the game the best. That, to me, is the most difficult thing to predict and evaluate because so often in college these guys are throwing to wide open receivers and are playing in limited, dumbed-down systems. And when you find a guy who can mentally process the game quickly AND has great physical ability/work ethic, you’ve got a goddamn superstar. Meet Patrick Mahomes. And Josh Allen. Eff the Jets. The Bills are owning this division until Josh is done.
  5. More fully clothed at least?
  6. Well, the Bills certainly have earned high marks recently so I don’t have a problem with it.
  7. I moved away from Buffalo (to North Carolina) in 1993 yet kept my season tickets (even upgrading to club seats) until the final year of Rex Ryan when I finally said “enough.” That’s 24 years of out-of-state season tickets for a mostly ***** team. I’ve considered re-upping but now the Bills won’t sell seasons to out-of-state fans.
  8. Someone who could make you miss in a phone booth is a good idea also.
  9. Is “AFCE” an acronym for a penal institution in Texas?
  10. JPEra, is that you? Good lord.
  11. Surratt has made a pretty remarkable transition from QB to LB. He’s an extremely smart and athletic player. I don’t really follow the draft lead-up so I have no idea where he is ranked but he seems like a solid 3rd or 4th rounder to me.
  12. A Buffalo broadcasting legend for sure. RIP.
  13. Signings like this are why those "in the know" call the Bills one of the best run organizations in the league now. Beane goes out and signs vets to 1-year deals as fill-ins/depth/competition and if they work out, he re-signs them. No cap worries, no risk -- all reward. Super smart.
  14. Because they couldn't figure out wheat to do with him.
  15. NFL Personal Conduct Policy, anyone? Who are the people saying this is "no big deal?" Remind me not to ever hang out with you. What a dumbass.
  16. The whole freaking team does. Josh is the perfect QB for the Buffalo Bills and their fans. Just perfect.
  17. But do those additions make the line better or worse? Hard to say they make it worse unless you (a) continue to harp on Star being "overpaid" or (b) have a knee-jerk negative reaction to anyone who played in Carolina. Star is a very useful piece in this defense. He has made every defense he has played on better. Obada has outstanding physical ability and upside. They essentially replace Jefferson and Butler. That's a win. Don't forget, as well, that we get to see Epenesa's 2nd year progression, and Horrible Harry will be even further removed from his ACL surgery so he should be back to just "playing" again. I'm looking forward to Oliver's continued improvement as well. Only the negative nancies look at all of this and don't see an improved DL.
  18. Is @ScottLaw posting under two screen names now?
  19. I have it on good authority they will return as the Washington Ruby Epidermises. That will look awesome on a t-shirt.
  20. Fantastic news. You know he wanted to be back and I'm glad they got it done. Very important signing; will likely be first in line replacing Andre Roberts on returns, and has become a more complete receiver as well. Super attitude and great locker room guy.
  21. No, one couldn't. When your team goes from WC one-and-done to the AFC Championship game you haven't "cost the Bills a chance at the SB" no matter WHO you signed.
  22. I disagree with almost everything here. Yes, he got the QB right. You do understand every team has hits AND misses in FA, right? Beane's misses haven't "cost" the Bills any more than other GMs' misses, and his hits have been pretty damn good (Beasley, Brown, Williams, Hyde, Poyer). Just because "half the board" wants players gone doesn't mean those people are correct. As for your comments about the money -- have you SEEN the contracts being given out around the league? Nobody took less to "avoid hitting the open market." I guaran-damn-tee you Josh Allen is not going to hold the Bills over the barrel for the richest contract possible. But don't take my word for it, you'll see yourself.
  23. For the rest of my life I will never tire of seeing that play.
