What they don't sell - they sell to ticket brokers at a rate. If the bills can move 1000 tickets that were originally listed at $300, and sell them for $200 - you get to declare a sell-out well in advance, you get your cash, and the broker assumes the risk. This doesn't happen on the website though, the ticket office will just negotiate a side deal with the brokers. The brokers then can set the market and probably will sell those tickets for well over $300. Then ticketmaster gets a fee, stub hub gets a fee, broker makes money on the ticket. Everyone wins - except fans basically.

Lets look at his 2023 numbers then Catch rate of 80.2% - 24th overall, but the 6th highest non-RB rate in the league, and his 91 targets were greater than the other 23 players. Success rate of 61.5% (catch of a pass that results in the offense making at least a certain percentage of the yards needed to get a first down or score) - 14th in the league right next to St. Brown, Collins, and Jefferson. It also doesn't make you better at football.

I hate that they don't take it out of the individual's stat line anywhere, or ever account for it in fantasy football (i'm sure some do, just not common in this circle). Completion percentage - doesn't factor in the plays where you didn't complete the ball, and got sacked. Yards passing or rushing (they include it in rushing stats in college) don't factor it in either. Strouds stats for example last year compared to a sack reduced yardage total, and including it as an "incompletion".

Yeah! I remember reading about them adjusting tackling technique. It's probably easier to teach now with a few more actual rules involving player safety.

I'd try first going direct with the team (miami or buffalo) on single-game tickets if possible to avoid secondary market, even if it won't be a very good seat. Its probably a bit pricey but i think that's just how everything is now. Friend who is a ticket brokers advice is always - if you don't have a hookup (someone with seasons, business connection, someone who works for said team or stadium, etc.), you're better off waiting because of all the fee's. The initial blitz after these types of publicity stunts always results in higher prices. Season ticket holders pick out games to sell, brokers set the pricing and its going to drive the cost up. Prices will then fluctuate as the event gets closer.

People play a lot different when they don't have helmets. But at the same time, then when it does happen even accidentally there's 0 protection so that doesn't really work either. I personally think he's done, and like thurman thomas before him - trying to get everyone to forget that he played for miami. 🙂

I mean i don't think rapp is specifically headhunting anyone. There's a fine line/edge to it, and both players waffle over that edge from time to time.

At the very least - we know shakir is a dawg. Worthy getting all this love is strange considering to get 82 more yards than coleman required 41 more targets. I get it, he played well in the playoffs and those games matter more. But the bills defense was pretty bad in that one. Benford goes out and in goes elam, with douglas already struggling. The entire team couldn't tackle or create pressure. Also his big catch wasn't even a freaking catch and i'll never have anyone explain to me why it was. I also don't really think its that important when you get 150 yards in a super bowl when your team ran the ball 7x, turned it over 3x, had 12 first downs, and lost by 18. He had 2 catches for 9 yards when they were down 34-0.

If he's not playing for the bengals under that contract, i doubt he's playing with anyone else. You'd have to at least offer him a raise on the 1yr 16M deal you'd be acquiring, maybe with a guarantee not to tag included. But most acquiring teams would probably extend him so that they could reduce that cap hit for 2025. Unless it's the jets... see Hasaan Reddick 🙂

Could be all the box jumping trainers have people doing too. I think they could all stand to do some pilates and yoga.

I think last year there was a really big unknown factor - Hollins was a cast-off, Coleman a rookie who didn't test well, samuel who was brought in to play a few different roles as an upgrade over Mckenzie and Harty on offense, shakir only had 65 targets in 2 seasons, and MVS who was there as a deep threat. Hollins definitely was worth his contract, coleman made some highlights and lowlights, samuel missed a bunch of camp with turf toe and then played through it, and MVS was a disaster. This year we know Shakir is legit. We saw some highlight reel plays from Coleman, and he played a lot better before his injury. Samuel never felt like himself, but he did score 2 playoff TDs. Now you add in palmer who is a blocking type of receiver who can get open down the field, and Elijah moore who gives you a bit more from slot depth that wasn't there last year.

Going with Fitz over Tyrod. Tyrod has traits - Better Arm, Faster, Stronger - you can probably even run some of the QB power type stuff with prime Tyrod's athleticism. Fitz on the other hand has more of an understanding of the position. Much better pocket management and ability to avoid sacks. Tyrod's a spot thrower for the most part, while fitz is more capable of throwing people open. This can definitely generate turnovers, but it also creates more yards over the course of a game. Tyrod had some stinkers (make him play QB).

I just don't think he's HC material tbh. I feel like coaching is a mixed bag of - X's and O's, gamecalling, and leadership. Seeing a sirianni win a super bowl to me indicates that leadership certainly has different types for different teams, but i never got the vibe that Saleh was a particularly good leader. The clueless look on his face when things didn't go right extended to the media, and he couldn't handle the ownership and management meddling very well. Just a football coach, which to me seems like a lifetime coordinator.

Snaps alone Bowers absolutely blows Kincaid away. Playing more is the easiest way to get individual accolades, but i like Bowers too - I feel like if he was in this draft he goes ahead of McMillan, and in Kincaids class he might have been the first pass-catcher off of the board. Bowers 2024 - 956 snaps Kincaid 2024 - 471 snaps, Kincaid 2023 - 699 for a 2 year total of 1170.

Thats not... accurate? His 2023 drop rate was 4.4% which was the same as 1st team all-pro George kittle, and was 24th among qualified TE's. He was starting to look slower out there, so maybe this was to create a bit more speed. Still a good shot to finish the season 2nd all time in yards for a TE, and an outside shot to 3rd or 4th in all time TDs if he plays 2 more seasons.

Probably a good fit for him to compete with jennings for outside reps opposite Aiyuk. See to me belief requires "faith" and i feel like scientists tend to require facts, data, and evidence.

I think usually it ends up being a tagged player, and hendricksons deal is essentially a tag but less (his cash this year is 16M vs. 22M for a tag). He's made over 60M already in his career, so sitting out is a lot easier when you have that in the bank. He is about the same age as hunter and 1 year older than garrett - both had their contracts re-done this offseason. There's nothing for him after this year - 0 guarantee's, 0 void years. Based on cap hit for 2025 he's at 20th for DE's, based on cash for this year he's 27th. 58 sacks in 4 years with 11 forced fumbles, 1st team all-pro last year, and led all their linemen in snaps by a pretty large margin. They added a year and some salary prior to 2023 to lock him in through 2025, but i can't imagine he was happy with his contract last year either and after 35 sacks over 2 years and no sign of extension or raise in the immediate future - I really don't see him showing up to work for what is agreed upon. I think his future earnings take a hit if he holds out into the season, but if he gets hurt on his current deal then his future earnings probably take an even bigger hit.

As important as John Brown and Beasley were when they were brought in to help josh in year 2. They also replaced Groy/Bodine with Morse, Ducasse with Spain, and Mills with Ford. They also added depth with Feliciano, Nsekhe and Spencer long. They definitely whiffed on moving on from Teller, but they did use those picks to help acquire Diggs, and added Bass in the 6th.

He also has a full NTC. I'm sure he'd love to play but i doubt Atlanta even cares with NO being in the same division and all.

Not a big hitter, but an alright tackler. Not fast, but where he needs to be for the most part. Won't make splash plays or anything particularly exciting, but a relatively steady hand. I don't love the player because physical limitations are pretty difficult to overcome without some next level training, but for depth i don't hate it. I don't even know if anyone would claim him off the PS if he ended up there either.

This is hardly true. I'd argue Cam lewis was by far the weakest link on our defense last year.
