Good morning! After watching the Super Bowl Sunday night, I came away with this overwhelming feeling that the Bills are really far behind on creativity and scheming in their play calling. This relates to both sides of the ball but especially offensively. The Chiefs and Eagles were so creative with their running schemes and midrange passing game and the only thing I could think about is how far the Bills might actually be. I was just wondering if any of you came away with the same feeling? As always, have a great day and GO BILLS!!

Twitter was an absolute fire storm last night and Eli Apple was wearing gasoline drawers lol.

I'd get rid of them both. Dorsey has no clue on how to call plays with any kind of rhythm. It's absolutely embarrassing. Leslie needs to go t0o.

Eli Apple is one of, if not the worst CB's in the league. He didn't have a good game the Bills just played awful. I've really can't stand him or Joe Mixon.

I mean, Daboll was awful with this too but this doesn't have anything to do with Daboll. Personally I don't think you can be mad at anyone (fans, whoever) when he's turning the ball over the exact same way he was when he was a rookie or in college. I love Josh Allen but he's turned the ball over damn near 35 times this year. It's a big problem whether you or I want to admit it. And yes, he is at peak production with 40-45TD's. I'm not saying he isn't playing at a high level. What I was saying is that it seems pretty obvious that at times Dorsey needs to save Josh Allen from Josh Allen. He's a great QB, my all-time favorite by far but that doesn't mean he's exempt from criticism. He's got a lot of the same qualities at Brett Favre when it comes to being a passer.

Haha nah I don't think it's anything with scheming as far as check downs go. But there are definitely scheming issues from Dorsey. The lack of rhythm and predictability in this offense is embarrassingly obvious at this point. The biggest problem with Dorsey, to me is not corralling Josh Allen and giving him the run game that he desperately needs to minimize his turnovers. Dorsey needs to realize that Josh Allen won't do the small things on his own. He would throw the ball 20+ yards every play if it were up to him. I think the main thing that needs to be driven home with Allen is that he's not playing at Wyoming anymore and this isn't 2018. There's so much talent on this team (especially in the backfield) that all he needs to do is get the playmakers the ball...quickly and everything else will fall right into place.

That's a really good point and I never thought about it like that. You're 100% right though, him and Josh are both way too aggressive in their approach. The best game that Josh played this season was the first game of the year against the Rams. He was absolutely surgical. He took everything that the defense was giving him and he was very calm and poised.

It's not Just Dorsey and it's not just Allen...It's both and it's probably more on Allen honestly. I've been watching this all season very very closely and Allen often times just refuses to take any underneath throws or layups. On Sunday there were 2x when he had guys open underneath and took the deeper throws and it paid off but he ends up forcing so much that the turnovers are sure to happen. Dorsey needs to call more running plays to nullify that part of Josh's game.

I couldn't agree more man. Yeah some of us Bills fans have become insanely spoiled. He's a really good LB. Fans are mad annoying, they think every player is going to be the Josh Allen of his respective position. He's literally getting better and better every week.

These generalized stats are very misleading when it comes to the 2nd half. The way the Bills run the ball in the 2nd half of games is almost comical at this point. There's absolutely no rhythm to the run game. They'll run on first and get stuffed or pick up 4yds and then they'll go right back to passing on 2 and 3rd downs and even 4th downs. The most annoying thing I've seen on a few occasions is where they were in obvious 4 down situations where they knew they would be going for it on 4th down early on in the drive and they only run once and throw it 3x in a row. At the end of the day the run game is only going to get better if they commit to running the ball.

Honestly it doesn't matter how long it takes RB's to get acquainted in this offense because the Bills don't know how to use them regardless. We've been watching this for like 3 or 4yrs now.

The bandwagon fans are really starting to show over the past 2 weeks. There's a lot of problems with this team, a lot are injury related, a lot are coaching/scheming problems and a lot are on Josh Allen. All things can be true.

I was literally thinking the exact same thing last night haha. It's funny because during the first couple of drives they were running pretty well. They had a nice rhythm running the ball.

This offense isn't working because there's absolutely no commitment to running the ball. This offense is way too dependent on Josh Allen being damn near perfect every game. Last season from the second half of the TB game through the playoffs, this team began running the ball and the whole offense opened right up and was pretty unstoppable.

Honestly, I'm not even worried about it. He's alright but he's injury prone.

Who knows. I think guys are going to have to play through being hurt. If they're just banged up they're going to have to find a way to play.

Yeah I like those all white throwbacks as well. Yeah I just never want to see the blue pants with blue socks and white tops lol

The Bills current helmets are the best helmets this franchise has ever had. Especially when the went with the white facemasks last year.
